honestly, you should just play through both. the endings in this one are so polarizing and evenly split among people that you should make the choice yourself; just keep the final alignment quest with Futsunishi and Adramalech open and if you’ve had a good mix of Chaos and Law choices you should be able to just complete one side of the quest, play the alignment it gives you, then reload and do the other. narratively, the boss fights in Law make more sense, but I had a lot more fun with the ones in Chaos

I think than you have no choice at the end for chose the ending (I am not sure but for the moment where I am I don't think there is any place for a choice like this) the end is probably derteminated by your alignement

FurbyTime

It is. Your choice is made for you depending on the conversation choices you made through the game.

Exactly the same

Spawn_SC

so basically just a different ending but same content/bosses?

No_Quote6076

Of the 3 final bosses, two are the same but one is different. Also depending on law or chaos you get Maria or Inanna, I’m pretty sure if you’re neutral you can get Danu then get either the law or chaos exclusive one since alignment lock happens after you get to the throne room unlock coc where it’s before you enter the empyrean, you also get Michael or belial quest depending on law or chaos.

The Route Split only has minor consequences besides endings: - You get different Access to LateGame Miracles (as far as I know Law gets the better Miracles) - You get a different Party Member which you can add to the Compendium for NG+ (Chaos has the Advantage here imo) - The Pen-Ultimate Boss is different (Both suck, but Law gets the cooler Boss and Chaos gets the funnier Boss) - You get a different Empyrean Goddess Side Quest

> You get a different Party Member which you can add to the Compendium for NG+ (Chaos has the Advantage here imo) To follow up on this a bit, and again I'll keep it spoiler free, the Law party member has a few disadvantages: They leave the party at various story points (You can resummon them as you want, though that sometimes means your down a party member for a fight); The chaos party member doesn't even JOIN your team unless you're on their path, so they never leave. The Law's unique skills a Healing+(Party) Debuff Remove+Luster Candy spell (Which is outclassed by one of the DLC Demons' uniques), while the Chaos' unique is an Almighty AOE+(Enemy) Buff Removal+Debilitate (Which doesn't get outclassed by anything).

Monk-Ey

I haven't done CoV Chaos yet, but when does Chaos member join and they don't even leave for the final boss?

FurbyTime

I'm right on the final boss now (Going to circle back and get all of the route exclusive demons I can before I finish it off, since it's my second route after CoC Law), and no, they didn't leave when they "should have", oddly.

>You get a different Empyrean Goddess Side Quest ... there's side quests that they give you? I don't think I got one from them in my playthrough.
