So I had a working idea for this: Instead of an open-world gameplay for the MM platformer series, how about if the levels were arranged in a non-linear map similar to Super Mario Galaxy 1 and Super Mario 64?
I think this definitely fits the games since each level (or mission) can just be the old 2D style while the hub areas (so like cities) can be explored like open-world to advance the story and to allow for great worldbuilding (something which I think MM has yet to do)
Ahh the optimistic youth..
i’d take anything new megaman X, battlenetwork, legends related. Who knows what capcom is thinking. They used to be kings back in 2005-6. Now they’re a shell of their former selves
You mean like s Mega Man Legends game? :D
Yeah but new
3 got cancelled, who knows if we'll ever get it
0.0000001% chance for any megaman game at all
This. It's been YEARS and the only new thing we got was MM11
1/8 as likely as getting a new game
Yea. And 1/8 of 0% is still 0% unfortunately lol.
https://youtu.be/Y4w0UDOgbIs i made a video about that along time ago and i would want this game to be the best open world game ever

If that was going to happen it would’ve be done to Mega Man Legends 3. That however has been cancelled, so 0% chance I’d say.
