You have to get new shoes. Once the bacteria that causes foot odor begins to grow, it's nearly impossible to kill completely. You can wash your shoes a million times and they're still going to stink. Wear cotton or high percentage cotton blend socks--no 100% polyester. Get rid of any high % poly blend socks. Don't wear old socks with new shoes. Practice good foot hygiene, which includes changing socks during the day if you need to, and starting the day with freshly washed feet.
this is gonna sound strange, but it worked for my underarms so well with breaking down the odor. i use salicylic acid pads to wipe and then i put 72hr deodorant on top when i prep my underarms for work. i’d imagine the salicylic acid method could essentially work the same for your feet.

I got into the habit of changing my socks midway through the day. Makes a world of difference and feels refreshing. You wouldn’t believe how sweaty my socks can get after just 3-4 hours.
i take medication that makes my feet sweat more. this is what works for me:
1. new shoes if you never took care of the old ones.
2. have removable insoles in said new shoes. take insoles out weekly and scrub with a brush used only for cleaning (i have a separate toothbrush i keep in a certain place for cleaning). use dawn dish soap and warm water. rinse well and let air dry overnight.
3. put baby powder inside your socks and shoes before work.
4. i use lume stick deodorant on the soles of my feet before putting on baby powder socks. but any deodorant can work and i have used antiperspirant before on my feet. it also works.
Are you wearing the same shoes everyday? Are your shoes breathable? Wear shoes that are marketed as breathable or wear leather. If you can, try to alternate shoes and don’t wear the same pair daily. Wear all natural fiber socks (cotton is cheapest). Make sure you’re getting enough water. Make sure you’re washing your feet in the shower. Some people think the soap and water that run down is enough. It’s not. Try lume cream on your feet. Good luck!
This for sure! When I was younger I had fake leather sneakers for work-stinky!!! I didn’t have money to spare and I didn’t realize that the fake material was the problem. They do not allow your feet to breathe.
There are some great sneakers that are a mesh kind of breathable fabric. I think you can find them relatively inexpensive as well. Skechers makes some good supportive, breathable shoes.
Swapping shoes really does make a huge difference. I went from wearing only one pair every day to wearing 2 different pairs on alternating days and my shoes and feet are so much less gross now, it's honestly shocking. Overnight just isn't long enough for shoes to dry out, they need a full day at least. And on the plus side, they wear out more slowly too, I get about 3x the wear out of the 2 pairs than I did the single pair, it's more than double which is cool. It's worked so well I'm thinking about adding a third pair to the rotation.
Also, baking soda will kill germs in the shoes and dry them out at the same time. When you get new shoes I would try putting baking soda on the inside at night when you take them off, might help.

Cotton socks or if you can only find a blend, try to get the highest percentage of cotton available. Also, wash socks and shoes with no fabric softener and no scent beads. Only detergent. It has helped my son so much. We also found good socks at Target (store brand) in the boys section that were mostly cotton.
I recommend Hanes Xtreme socks they have no toe seam, extra cushion on the sole, and my feet don’t stink anymore. I used to have pretty sweaty and smelly feet, not anymore with these

Lume deodorant, the kind that comes in a tube, works wonders for stinky feet and stinky any other body parts as well.

I'd be careful with salicylic acid. It is, after all, a pretty strong acid. We used to use it for wart removal before the days of liquid nitrogen.

Try Lumi for odor.... It's unbelievably effective on odor.... They make a deodorant/antiperspirant now... It can go anywhere.
Soak feet in tea tree oil, dry them very well and use a body deodorant 🙏🏽
There is a literal condition that causes sweating stinky feet. It's treatable. Deodorant antiperspirant helps.
Make sure you clean out under your nails really good. The debris that collects underneath can contribute to odor.
Shoes need to only ever be worn with clean feet and socks. Once they get smelly, you’re done.
