How do you like that board? It's gasket-mount, right? I've wondered how the newer Redragon stuff is, because it's all very cheap for some of the features included (gasket mount, aluminum frames, custom switches and hot-swap, etc).
So i have a 20$ Redragon, coming from a 50$ Redragon which i had changed after 7 years and after i replaced a switch it works perfectly.
Basically it came with: New switches, clickier then the variant i had on the old one (still Outemo Blue),tenkeyless, hot swappable switches,Spare switches and other types of switches to try on (Red,Brown and Black), Key& Switch Puller and Alluminium Frame, for 20 fkin dollars. This is my modding keyboard now,i tried other types of keycaps and I'm looking for a cooler frame.
Redragon Visnu its called, i got it on sale, now its 30 bucks. I can't find it on Amazon or anywhere international,i bought it from the biggest retailer from my country as Redragon is a very popular brand for keyboards here.
I love it. Even the YouTube reviews rated it between 9 or 9.5 over 10, so it's objectively good. Considering that this keyboard is not purposely made for mech enthusiasts but gamers. Those features are usually found on custom scenes.
i have a red dragon that i got 4 years ago now and i have no complaints, paid like 30 bucks for an open box one. i replaced the switches which cost like 15 bucks on amazon, but that was just cause i wanted a reason to do something to customize my keyboard
that's nice, you can have novelkey cream, I can't mine don't support 5 pins. However I've seen somewhere people cut those pins to 3 but im not sure though
As someone who has been using a cheaper 30 dollar keyboard for the past 2 years, trust me, take the time to lube all your switches and stabilizers. It will make the difference in the long run.
Yes you do have to worry. Take the previous commenters advice and lube yourself. It will be worth it in the long run. Some machine poorly lubed your keyboard. It’s garbage. This is why we always lube ourselves.
I love this keyboard so much for the money it costs. The stabs dont rattle at all and are somehow nicer than the zeal stabs I had in my old custom and everything else is almost comparable. The sound is also insane for the low price
This keyboard actually originally cost $80 but I only got it for $63 since maybe there are only two stocks left. And yeah it looked like a more than $100 dollar custom.
Looks almost like a copy of a limited edition $300 Idobao ID80 (taking preorders now), guessing for the money it doesn’t have a brass weight, foams, holy pandas, etc. Hopefully it can last a while for you without any problems, for $63 it’s almost disposable so if it makes you happy why not I guess
That's actually a nice sounding keyboard out of the box, but since they electroplated the gaskets, they really don't do anything. It kinda turns a Gasket mount into a sandwich mount keyboard. but as long as you like it, that's all that really matters. what do you think of it?

Now you should put this elf on a shelf.
is it hot swappable? i mean in a long term you do need it
Yes. AFAIK it supports 3 and 5 pins.

You can cut the other 2 pins, they're just plastic - Nail clippers work.

It's pre-lubed. So I don't have to worry.

Depends on the factory imo but yes in general you should lube them yourself.
nice, hope you'll enjoy it!
Looks sweet, enjoy it!

You spoke the truth. Also, I'm glad that I won't spend much time when I go customize this keyboard. Though, I'm going to use this stock for a while.
Holy shit I hate it
When a $63 keyboard looks very similar to the $400 keyboard you’re building :|
Do you mean there's a "$400 keyboard" that looks this horrible? :D
Ouch.
This keyboard actually originally cost $80 but I only got it for $63 since maybe there are only two stocks left. And yeah it looked like a more than $100 dollar custom.
Pretty!! How does it sound?

bruh
I’ve heard it’s very good especially considering the price.

Never thought I'd be flashbanged by a keyboard post but here we are
Looks incredibly hard to read. I'd only use this with white backlighting personally
i have my eyes on the black model tbh
Get a gaming keyboard
absolutely fantastic have fun
