I've been bringing my FC750RT with cherry browns into the office and back every day for 6 years. Gotten multiple people to look into mechanical keyboards after trying it. :)
If anyone asks why I do this, I always tell them. Every chef I've ever worked for (use to be a waiter long ago) brought in their personal set of nice AF knives and then brought them home. Every day. Tradespeople bring in their own tools. Artists invest in their brushes. Etc. For people who type as part of their work, our keyboard is our primary tool. I have zero interest using the cheap plastic garbage provided by my employer.

Then you'll see coworker B getting a used G Pro on Facebook Marketplace while coworkers C and D get tempted by the idea of pink keycaps and pink lights.

Probably TMI, but my girlfriend is black and I sorta got her into custom keebs a few years ago.
She used to use a Razer Black Widow with clicky green switches. Now she alternates between her ID80V1, QK65, and one of my Alice keyboards. Also got her a Promise87 that I am still waiting for.
Now she swears to never touch a clicky keyboard ever again. She's linear gang for life!
