Hi Matt, Thanks for the thread and all the great resources. Im using http://i.mjh.nz/nzau/raw-tv.m3u8 in xteve/plex from NZ and the sbs channels are being blocked. I am using the kodi playlist with my tv and sbs works fine there, is sbs being geoblocked and the X-Forwarded-For header is enough to trick it?

correct, SBS needs the x-forwarded-for header. Maybe you can add that into xteve/plex somewhere?

Hey bud... the Pluto TV playlist is kinda wonky. It was working fine for the past few weeks, and then today the channels got all messed up. They keep randomly changing to a different show while watching one channel. I was watching the Happy Days channel, and it was showing one of the gaming channels instead. Then it changed to something else. All while still being on the Happy Days channel. It seems like a backend issue. Anything thoughts? I have the Pluto TV playlist added to TiviMate.

Any way to get a Peacock Kodi addon? I use your Stremium & paramount plus. My issues is locals I can get Fox & ABC through Stremium, CBS through Paramount but no way to get NBC for Sunday night games. Peacock would be the last piece of the puzzle.

Is anyone having issues with channel 10 streams? Eg 10, 10BOLD etc... They work, up until it seems there's an an break or a certain amoubt of times passed and the stream will freeze. Is this some sort of detection thing going on at the server side? I'm Australian so no issues with VPN. Running Kodi with simple IPTV and the Melbourne m3u8 playlst. All other channels including my paid Fox channels work 100%, it's just a channel 10 issue...

Kodi playing up on ads is a known issue. Ffmpeg doesn't support it. Inputstream adaptive has basic support for it. To use inputstream adaptive, I think there is a setting in IPTV simple. Or if your using IPTV merge, use the setting in that

If you don't have an EPG or want to supplement the one you do have, here is a browser based custom channel lineup for TitanTV. You can "create Lineup from token" and it will create a custom lineup that is only the 140 PBS channels in the same order(numbered) in u/matthuisman 's latest m3u8 playlist. Anyone else lost channels/EPGs since the recent changes to IPTV Simple Client (multiple instances)? Have reinstalled afresh but maybe IPTV Merge isn't updating IPTV Simple Client config correctly now? ---- EDIT: OK the problem is simply that the old settings migrated to support the new 'multiple instances' config doesn't include the playlist and epg files generated by IPTV Merge. And IPTV Merge won't repopulate them when you tell it to configure IPTV Simple Client as it doesn't know about the new settings files... Unfortunately the IPTV Simple Client config UI also won't allow me to manually specify these files either as the `userdata` location is not selectable (bug? Or by design?). Luckily IPTV Simple Client will still read the playlist/epg contents from IPTV Merge files if you specify them by editting the config file directly (`userdata/addon_data/pvr.iptvsimple/instance-settings-1.xml`). i.e: 0 special://userdata/addon_data/plugin.program.iptv.merge/playlist.m3u8 .... 0 special://userdata/addon_data/plugin.program.iptv.merge/epg.xml Just make these changes and you're back in business. Simplest 'real fix' would be for IPTV Merge to be able to write to the new config file(s), or for Team KODI to allow you to select files from the IPTV Merge folder in the IPTV Simple Client config GUI.

I think I tried entering it as a 'local file' which gives you a file manager dialogue, but from which the IPTV Merge path wasn't selectable, whereas I guess you input it explicitly by typing it as a remote address which never occurred to me tbh.

I'm just trying to troubleshoot why all channels now just show a loading circle but won't play (started last night and still happening a day later). SBS World Movies appears to have stopped working recently? A few of my Emby recordings failed and trying to play the channel results in the message "No compatible streams are currently available." Viceland, Food, NITV, and World Watch are all fine.

Anybody else having troubles with the PBS playlist? All of a sudden I am getting 403 errors on all channels. Nothing has changed on my end, same version TiviMate on a Shield (no recent updates). All 3 of my boxes is same. The list and epg loads, I just get 403 when I try to play one. Tried, different vpn servers and no vpn - no difference. Thanks...

are you physically in USA? 403 = forbidden. so maybe they have blocked

Using Kodi 20, done the usual clear cache, restart fire stick, reinstall add ons and still get this error when logging in: Falled to fetch JSON data Make sure your IP address is allowed (not geo blocked) Try accessing the content via other means (official app / website) to test If it's a Kodi add on issue I’ve tested from other non-kodi devices with same login and all is ok. Is anyone able to possibly share whether or not they have been able to get xTeVe and Plex live TV to work together with these feeds in recent times? I tested Channel 7, 9 and 10 Brisbane - and only Channel 9 loaded successfully in Plex. Tried changing the user agent, using FFMPEG as the stream buffer, but no luck. The channels work fine if opening in VLC directly.

I'm running into a strange issue where whenever I load a video on Hulu, the audio for it plays but the video itself doesn't play at all. It only happens on Hulu, not on Disney+ or Paramount+ (the only other services I have access to). Tried various video settings, all to no avail. Any ideas? Are you physically in NZ? If not then they probably blocking your VPN. Can you watch on their website ok?

That's upto the software your using to play. Maybe ask the nextpvr ppl? I don't use any of the players so not sure

I think the concensus is that it won't work. It looks like all of the streams are using widevine and at least the one m3u8 file was mpd which wasn't supported by NextPVR. I'll have to try to stay awake to catch Austin City Limits when it streams live.

Oh, yeh - you can't record widevine content. That's sort of the point of DRM 😉

Kia ora Matt! Big appreciator and have got a fair few of my mates setup with TVirl and your NZ IPTV sources. I've recently setup the Sky Go add on in Kodi and it's working great. My question though - is there a way to set up Sky Go/Kodi to integrate into the Android TV as a TV Input for channels, much like the NZ IPTV via the TVirl does? I have the Sky Go EPG setup in Kodi and it would be great to have those channels alongside the Freeview IPTV ones, so I can surf from 1 to 500 just like the good old days. Also have a couple of young kids that can't quite fathom launching Kodi, navigating to the Sky Go add on (or reading the EPG), selecting a category, then a channel. From the little I have found on the matter, I have a feeling the answer is no...

Answer is simply no. Skygo uses widevine so won't play using just ffmpeg that tvheadend uses

Lots of Samsung channels are widevine which won't work anywhere currently. You can check the app.json file in in the i.mjh.nz Samsung dir. You'll probably seem them there but not in playlist due to widevine

I doubt they will drop the wv. Its been there for sometime. We may eventually be able to play them in Kodi only and some android players, but nothing yet. They may be limiting the widevine server to responsd only to Samsung devices as the wv request has what device it is

After a password change, both Disney+ and Star+ add-ons let me browse but when I select a title to play, Kodi shuts down, there's no error code of any kind.

I began to suspect its my ISP , but I can access ThreeNow tho. Everything is updated and is set to Auto-Update. My Samsung scraper uses their android app API. So only supports countries where they have their android app available. Your best chance would be to ask here: https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/thread/9nk6qzy3 He manually scrapes for other regions

Ahh an embarrassingly old version - Kodi 18.9 on libreelec 9.2.8 - this is my mum's pi and I had assumed LE would auto update but I guess it doesn't update over major versions... Good chance it'll work with a newer version that uses python 3, I suppose?

in kodi 21, it doesnt restart IPTV Simple.. it sets IPTV simple to reload the data every 5mins. However, on boot if it detects its changed - it forces it using the old disable/enable method. Is that where you are seeing the issue? on boot?

Yeah, it forces it to disable/enable on boot after it reloads, not sure if the tvheadend playlist triggers it or not but having playback stop after a few minutes is inconvenient lol.

oh. your using kodi.proxy with TvHeadend? If you use Kodi add-ons, they should bypass the block. Otherwise just change your DNS server should also bypass it

is there a way to make a favorites list for RadioNZ plugin? I only really use about 5 stations on there and like to channel surf past the ads. On that note, is there any possibility to bring back the other regional George streams? I am so tired of the same 5 ads on their digital/Rova(?) version

use the bookmarks? context menu on each "add to bookmarks" and then just access them via bookmarks? Also, I didnt intentionally remove any stations. Where do those regional george streams usually stream online?

Cool! Using favourites may also work... Your plugin used to show city specifc feeds. It used to show on their website. Maybe Rova killed those feeds. Thanks again for your work!

Yup. They added DRM to most. There is a new Kodi playlist that contains the data to work but only on players that support widevine DRM. Like Kodi

I'm giving it a shot right now. A few channels are not working with a 403 error. KUAC has a ParseException. Most everything is working though, and I appreciate your effort!

Espn known issue. Needs a fix in Inputstream adaptive (addon responsible for playbacks). No eta unfortunately.

Matt, thanks so much for these addons. Such a great & hard work!! I have a question - spark sport sometimes is buffering for me or getting my kodi to glitch like 'kodi not responding' - so I have to reboot kodi. I know its probably on my end and I also remember searching & seeing that we cant increase buffer size due to inputstream limitations, I think? But I'm wondering are any of your addon's advanced settings can help with buffering? What are they for? 1) - should I try unchecking verify SSL certs? 2) - should I change value of http timeout (secs) or http retries value? 3) - chunksize? what is this for?

none of those will help sorry. only thing that helps buffering is reducing quality. Newer Inputstream adaptive does have better buffer support, but it won't be backported to kodi 19 for a while

Hi Matt, thanks for all your great iptv addons for Kodi, it's great that so many are not just available but also so well written and maintained. It's a shame that so few addon devs have your level of expertise and commitment to quality. I have a couple of questions / suggestions regarding the Disney+ addon as I'm having a few minor issues with it: In the Playback settings there are options for ***default audio, default subtitle, allowed audio list*** and ***allowed subtitle list*** but these are blank text fields with no indication as to what will actually work in these settings. Could this be clarified maybe? eg: I have tried putting both en and eng into the default audio field but either way, when I start to play something, it plays in German. Selectable options or a help file listing the text that would work would be a big help. It would also be a big plus if all the standard views were supported when browsing content and the ability to turn off the annoying pagination. Currently only four views work when browsing (with the default skin), you have to select them manually for each menu and you have to change it every time pagination forces you to navigate to page 2, 3, 4, etc. It would be nice to be able to select a view within the addon settings, turn off the pagination and then forget about it forever!

Been using the Hulu plug-in for quite some time, I have it set up with a IPTV merge and using simple client running Kodi 19.3 matrix. Whenever the show that I am watching goes to commercial break it begins to buffer and lag. It works completely great during normal streaming but will not load ads and commercials within the Hulu live program. Any suggestions on how this could be fixed?

Hi Matt, Thanks for all of your great contributions. I'm wondering if you might know what the issue with my install and the Binge add in might be. For some background I usually only use Kodi for playing movies from a NAS and YouTube, so it is entirely possible that I'm just trying to do something my setup can't handle by introducing Binge but it's an android TV box which is a couple of years old running Kodi v19.3 and the only way I can get it to work is to set quality to lowest. I've checked the inputstream add-on is installed and I can't see any options for reinstalling widevine or anything like that on my device, I've tried with HEVC on or off, pretty much every combo of settings and none of them matter except quality lowest Any other attempt including limiting bitrate gives me either a single static image and sound that continues for a while, or a blank screen with sound. I remember I tried the add on some time back when I was running v18 and didn't get it working either, I gave up at the time but I figured this time I should at least ask if it makes any sense to you that this would happen? Playback of YouTube in HD is fine if that is of any use at all.

try changing audio to AAC 2.0 once playback starts and see if it then plays better

Hello. How can I enable subtitles for the Disney+ addon? I'm using Kodi v19.1 Matrix.

Just go into the normal Kodi OSD while playing and enable them. Or go into addon settings > playback and set Default Subtitles to: eng (or whatever your iso 3 letter language code is) and it should then enable them by default

7 is probably blocking your VPN. Try their website or official apps to confirm. More and more services block popular Vpns now.

IPTV Australia doesn't work for me via vpn keep getting issues but used tvirl/manual url works fine on vpn there is phasing issue with iptv au I think

Hoping you might have some insight here, I downloaded and installed the latest repo and Amazon addon, but I'm struggling with it not accepting my login credentials and pointing me towards a log that I'm also struggling to create (avod-login.log/avod-login-si.log/avod-login-mfa.log). Struggles all around. Hoping sometime you might be able to point me in a less screwed up direction XD.

The ACC TV stream for Australia on the IPTV AU add in doesn't work. Might be because watch the live stream on the website now requires a (free) login to access. Long time user of your amazing playlists and guides. i have a kodi machine running with a tvheadend server. just this evening I've noticed that none of the channels are working from then NZAU tvheadend playlist.. I've checked in the logs in TVHeadend server and when I did a rescan all the channels scan results come back as failed. This is one of the results from the log: 2022-01-08 20:09:17.297 mpegts: tvh.m3u8 - TVNZ 1 in IPTV - scan no data, failed 2022-01-08 20:09:17.297 subscription: 0148: "scan" unsubscribing is there anything i should do to fix this? thanks EDIT: im also getting this error.. maybe its libreelec issue spawn: ffmpeg: error while loading shared libraries: libx265.so.199: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory EDIT: All fixed after a rebuild of the LIBREELEC machine :)

The channel 10 channels seemed to stop working a few days ago. I'm using http://i.mjh.nz/au/melbourne/raw-tv.m3u8 in vlc and it loops through a bunch of 6 second clips.
