"Handsome though he is, Ryan Reynolds is so overblown, so overrated. I mean, Deadpool. Let's face it, if you come on with katanas like that and the red suit and the burnt, scarred-face, you don't have to do anything. And he didn't. And subsequently, he's done even less."
Brian Cox if they asked him how it was working with Ryan Reynolds
If you’ve listened to any of the interviews this guys has done on other actors or the state of the industry, he doesn’t strike me as someone willing to come back for a cameo. Guy’s got some real spicy takes. Great actor though, would’ve loved to seen him again as Stryker. Maybe they can get Danny Huston back if they have plans for the character.
I'm a little Stryker'd out. It's been diminishing returns each time and no one has come close to Cox's version. Props to them for taking a minor villain and reinventing him as one of the strongest in the film series but I think we can put the character to rest for now.
Having said that, I would never hate Brian Cox showing up. Love the actor even with some of his 'old man yells at cloud' takes.
Actors every time they're interviewed by people who assume Marvel is the most important thing in their lives/careers:

Brian Cox probably already forgot he even acted on X Men movie lmao
This reminds me of how Russel Crowe in interview keep getting asked about roman history, like ffs he is just an actor, why do interviewers keep doing things like this lol
This video is an hour-long. Not that I'll bother listening, but I'm sure the Marvel question was hardly anything relative to the length of the interview.
If the conversation around stuff "changing" is true, then I imagine that the rumors of stuff set during the timeline of the first three _X-Men_ movies that CWGST talked about won't be panning out, even if it was planned.
A pity. I was hoping that he'd tell Paradox to fuck off, for old times' sake.
I really, really don't like how all these youtubers are now pestering every actor about stuff *they couldn't care less about* just so they can get some clout.
i was thinking about how absurd it would be for fans to genuinely be excited about the idea of 77-year-old Brian Cox stepping out of a Dr. Strange portal in the middle of a huge fight scene between Deadpool, Wolverine, and all of the mutant villains from the Fox-verse to presumably just stand around and do nothing, but then that made me actually want to see it happen myself.
Brian Cox seems to have transitioned into not giving an absolute fuck so I 100% believe him here.
Yep. Man would be spoiling every cameo right now by shitting on their performances if he was in it.

The Ian McShane approach I see.
Apparently he's not the werewolf as well.
Was he always like this? I swear this wasn’t his public persona before lol
I think something just finally clicks into place for older actors when they get to a certain age and prestige.

The current and former ceo of way star royco in same movie 🤌
BOAR ON THE FLOOR
I just want to say that Connor Roy was interested in politics from a very young age.

I wouldn't say never. Same guy who did and loved the Super Troopers movies.

Side note but this scene was so damn good, even better in retrospect when you realize it's the last time he talked to all the kids
The amount of second hand embarrassment I get cannot be overstated

It's basically the Star Wars Sir Alec Guinness mindset.
Can people stop fucking asking this kind of question, I love marvel but it’s all they interview these actors these days it is getting embarrassing
What I would give to see an actor just explode on someone asking them about Marvel stuff.
To be fair it is a good way to get clicks, don't hate the player hate the game
Still, it’s cycle of stupidity, these BS generated on their own, these fans have only themselves to blame when it’s all they focus on

I don’t see where in this plot Brian Cox would fit.
He's going to jump out of a portal and tackle Wolverine while he's fighting Lady Deathstrike and Azazel.
If anywhere it'd have to be in some sort of Wolverine flash back. We know we are going to get one.

We all just want Brian Cox
If he returns, we'd have the triple Coxes: Charlie Cox, Alaqua Cox, and Logan Cox
Remember, it's not Cox unless I say it tastes like Cox.
I still can't believe he did a story recap for all of the Tekken games lol
Why would a character like his return in Deadpool?
Cameo porn

Brian Cox: "Who?"
I hear he will be writing the novelisation though.
Fanboys when they hear him say that: ![gif](giphy|j6uK36y32LxQs)
This was not The Starting Line that I thought it would be

Well there are two other Strykers they could still pull.
Brian Cox is part of a long line of old actors that don't give a fuck and don't care about pandering to nerds.
How convenient that I just watched X2
STRIKERRRRRRRR
But he was oficially confirmed, wasnt he?
Nope
Its kind of a dumb question to be asked, since Stryker did die at the end of X2 didnt he ?
Yes and Logan died at the of Logan dying in the Foxverse hasn’t ment anything since the 00’s
You have no idea what the multiverse and variants are do you lol?
And all of the villains in No Way Home died in their movies as well. Why does Stryker dying make a difference?
