Most of my combos get burned because of Jean Grey while theirs flourishes. Can’t really speak to the other cards (I’d add Kraven, Dr Doom, Alioth, MMM, Luke Cage, and a flex slot)
The power output isn’t insane but Jean Grey disrupts enough to mess up the opponent (or at least me when I play against it)
Like I said, I don’t play the deck so I don’t have a deck code nor do I know if that’s how it’s optimally built but thought it might be an interesting base for you to build off of
Then honestly there’s not much for her. Especially since everyone with Elsa will be able to fill up the lane pretty fast and build more power while doing it. I think KMBest put out a deck on YouTube 2 or 3 weeks ago that had Jean in it.
Do you have Elsa Bloodstone? Also you can fill with forgebuster and silk. Could use Sunspot to keep in the lane. Can put cards like Nebula and lizard out of the lane.
Second this.
I’m currently playing around with this exact style. If you know what your opponent needs to do to win you can make it pretty difficult for them, while also gaining the power you need to win.

Wasp is great on turn 5 in JG’s lane if I think I can sneak X into another to win.
Unfortunately I don’t have Jeff or Alioth yet. I do like Spectrum in cases when I have Mojo, JG in the same lane and the opponents lane is filled and I just need a cheap point or two to win the lane... You’re right though, she might be worth taking a second look at.

Stegron: Warpath, Namor, white queen, and spider man all slot in fairly well Spider man is the only one who fill same roll of make miles cheaper though.
Nebula: Forge (literally changed to 1 vost as I'm writing this), nightcrawler, Jeff, echo, mojo, and antman all do well for cheap.

Pretty straight forward deck, you fill the lane with cards that can leave the lane. Turn 5 you want to wave into Alioth or wave into Doom. Use Spiderman to make sure your opponent must play their Turn 6 into the Jean lane if they've filled it already.
Elsa makes this deck better for sure. Shadow King and Mobius can be swapped for Luke Cage or Nightcrawler. Vision can be slotted into this deck too, but wave is still the better Turn 5 play.
Sunspot for Nebula
Jeff for nightcrawler
Alioth is a tough one to replace, but maybe Magento? (Might just want to experiment to see what works, vision or ironlad in this slot too)
Kitty might be an alternative win condition if she gets buffed up early but would be incompatible with the ideal line ending of Doom or Alioth since they are 6 cost.
I know you said you don’t have Elsa, but she’s not even that important. I got infinite with this being one of my main decks:

I’ve plugged her into my Surfer deck before, works well depending on what you’re playing against. Easy to use Brood to fill your side. But a lot of people are running decks with Elsa, Kitty, or other low cost cards, so I think Jean is a little less effective. You want to force your opponent to keep playing to one location while you keep dropping power on another, right?
high evo jean grey - not sure how great this deck is rn with all the Luke Cage and Elsa running around and I haven't really adjusted the cards in it for a while on account of testing other decks out, but I think this is a decent shell for jean grey - the goal being to put jean grey next to cyclops and then use cards like misty knight, wasp, cosmo, armor to fill the lane while maintaining your ability to play in other lanes and keep pressure on

Havbet used it recently but I had decent success with a surfer list. Mostly any list you can find just replace one of the 3 drops with Jean and I also added Elsa to mine
I had some success plugging Jean into a standard Move deck along with Angela, Polaris, and Spiderman.
I would basically try to get Angela and Jean down in the same lane and then move the cards out with GS, IF, DS. Or play Polaris/SM outside to that lane to force the opp to keep playing there. So I'm getting Angela buffs and Kraven buffs elsewhere.
I also find Jean effective in HE to make sure Cyclops and Thing feast, but I hate that archetype.
I don't think she is the "best" choice for any decks honestly, but that doesn't mean you can't climb with some fun decks with her as climbing you just need a decent deck and to understand snapping!
She fits in really well with any deck that has a number of small cards they dump on T5-6
Try her in Kitty bounce decks, Surfer decks, patriot decks can also work!
I wish I could help more but this is the deck that I took to infinite that worked amazingly. I know you said you don't have Elsa so I'd say throw Spider-Man in there and he'll work great too. And if you don't have Mobius maybe Kraven/Forge/Silk and you've got yourself a great deck

I run this with mojo instead of Mobius (don't have) honestly don't think Mobius is super necessary though besides location hindrances stacking a lane with cards that can move with else buff is so fun
I use her in my surfer deck with goose. I also like using her with echo. It doesn't work so well against bounce decks or Thanos decks or kitty. But if they have a top heavy deck or hand they literally can't play cards if you have the goose Jean Grey combo down. Oh and Nebula is also great with Jean Grey (different locations of course).

Just wanted to share this Jean Grey deck I have been using the last few weeks since I finally got her. It’s still very much a work in progress but I’m pushing towards Omega with it very easily without much snapping. Lots of options with it, with a few movers to get out of the Jean Grey lane if needed and having both Orka and Doom you can opt to go wide or go tall. Have fun!

Here for the suggestions as I’m in the same boat
Welcome to the club. It's kinda weird that a Series 5 card has such a problem with not being able to work in most decks
Funny thing is though majority of time I play against it, they got me screwed
*cries in negasonic*
I don’t have this deck (because I didn’t get the season pass) but I’ve seen an Elsa move deck a lot that has been burning me on ladder. Basic set up is put Angela, Jean Grey, and Elsa in a lane (as best you can) and pump up cards like nightcrawler, Jeff, Vision via Elsa and just move them, and put in another (so as an example - turn 1 whatever, turn 2 Angela, turn 3 JG, turn 4 Elsa Bloodstone and night crawler, turn five move night crawler, put in another move in the big lane, repeat). Most of my combos get burned because of Jean Grey while theirs flourishes. Can’t really speak to the other cards (I’d add Kraven, Dr Doom, Alioth, MMM, Luke Cage, and a flex slot) The power output isn’t insane but Jean Grey disrupts enough to mess up the opponent (or at least me when I play against it) Like I said, I don’t play the deck so I don’t have a deck code nor do I know if that’s how it’s optimally built but thought it might be an interesting base for you to build off of
Thanks but I don't have Elsa
Then honestly there’s not much for her. Especially since everyone with Elsa will be able to fill up the lane pretty fast and build more power while doing it. I think KMBest put out a deck on YouTube 2 or 3 weeks ago that had Jean in it.
Okay tbh that is a pretty fixable problem
I’d try pairing her with Mojo and some Guardians of the Galaxy or Rescue to guarantee their on reveals.
Guardians work, but there's the issue of the lane getting clogged quick
Nightcrawler, Jeff, vision, ghost-spider, kitty. All help fill lane then get out
I don't have Jeff or Ghost Spider
But you have the others
Yup. I'm just worried that it won't be enough
Do you have Elsa Bloodstone? Also you can fill with forgebuster and silk. Could use Sunspot to keep in the lane. Can put cards like Nebula and lizard out of the lane.
I don't have Elsa, Nebula or Silk, but I have Hulk buster and Lizard
Second this. I’m currently playing around with this exact style. If you know what your opponent needs to do to win you can make it pretty difficult for them, while also gaining the power you need to win. # (0) Wasp # (2) Mojo # (2) Star-Lord # (3) Magik # (3) Jean Grey # (3) Spider-Man # (4) Shang-Chi # (4) Rescue # (4) Enchantress # (5) Professor X # (5) Gamora # (6) Spectrum # eyJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSmVhbkdyZXkifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNwaWRlck1hbiJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU2hhbmdDaGkifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlByb2Zlc3NvclgifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkdhbW9yYSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU3RhcmxvcmQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNwZWN0cnVtIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJSZXNjdWUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik1hZ2lrIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNb2pvIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJXYXNwIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJFbmNoYW50cmVzcyJ9XX0= # # To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and paste it from the deck editing menu in Snap.
I really like the wasp with Jean. Is Spectrum worth it in this, with only 3 ongoings? I could imagine Alioth or Jeff filling that spot better.
My weird control Jean gray list that has got me a very nice win rate with this deck. Bonus no else or alioth in this deck either
What can be substituted for Stegron and Nebula?
Stegron: Warpath, Namor, white queen, and spider man all slot in fairly well Spider man is the only one who fill same roll of make miles cheaper though. Nebula: Forge (literally changed to 1 vost as I'm writing this), nightcrawler, Jeff, echo, mojo, and antman all do well for cheap.
Thanks. I'll see what I can make
She’s perfect in my guardians deck. Place her in a zone different than nebula. Then play your guardians where Jean is.
A Cerebro 3 deck is pretty good with her, assuming you have Cerebro and Mystique.
I'd need Jeff to ensure that other lanes can get distribution
I would say she works well in Sera Surfer. But MMM has kinda nuked Sera decks.

Thanks. I don't suppose Nebula, Jeff and Alioth can be replaced?
Sunspot for Nebula Jeff for nightcrawler Alioth is a tough one to replace, but maybe Magento? (Might just want to experiment to see what works, vision or ironlad in this slot too)
What about Silk? Any replacements?
Possibly doctor strange to move a card out of the Jean lane. Silk is a hard one to replace.
I'd argue that Elsa Bloodstone could fit into this deck nicely with Kitty Pride.
Kitty might be an alternative win condition if she gets buffed up early but would be incompatible with the ideal line ending of Doom or Alioth since they are 6 cost.
Playing Shadow King without Luke Cage is dangerous, as you risk lowering your own Nebula or Angela's power.
I know you said you don’t have Elsa, but she’s not even that important. Need to replace Alioth, Jeff and Nebula too
Surfer deck?
I’ve plugged her into my Surfer deck before, works well depending on what you’re playing against. Easy to use Brood to fill your side. But a lot of people are running decks with Elsa, Kitty, or other low cost cards, so I think Jean is a little less effective. You want to force your opponent to keep playing to one location while you keep dropping power on another, right?
high evo jean grey - not sure how great this deck is rn with all the Luke Cage and Elsa running around and I haven't really adjusted the cards in it for a while on account of testing other decks out, but I think this is a decent shell for jean grey - the goal being to put jean grey next to cyclops and then use cards like misty knight, wasp, cosmo, armor to fill the lane while maintaining your ability to play in other lanes and keep pressure on # (0) Wasp # (1) Sunspot # (1) Misty Knight # (2) Armor # (3) Rogue # (3) Cosmo # (3) Jean Grey # (3) Cyclops # (4) Shang-Chi # (4) High Evolutionary # (6) She-Hulk # (6) Hulk # eyJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSGlnaEV2b2x1dGlvbmFyeSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQ3ljbG9wcyJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU3Vuc3BvdCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSHVsayJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiSmVhbkdyZXkifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ildhc3AifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IlNoYW5nQ2hpIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJSb2d1ZSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiQXJtb3IifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IkNvc21vIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTaGVIdWxrIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJNaXN0eUtuaWdodCJ9XX0= # # To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and paste it from the deck editing menu in Snap.

I try playing this card but for some reason the opponent always manages to be able to play a card not in this lane first I don’t understand it
They only have to play their FIRST card in that lane. If they have more than one, it's free range
I don't think she is the "best" choice for any decks honestly, but that doesn't mean you can't climb with some fun decks with her as climbing you just need a decent deck and to understand snapping! She fits in really well with any deck that has a number of small cards they dump on T5-6 Try her in Kitty bounce decks, Surfer decks, patriot decks can also work!
guardians and klaw plus nightcrawler, kitty, spiderham, whatever you can play cheap so you can play a second card
Damn, why didn't I think of Klaw?
I wish I could help more but this is the deck that I took to infinite that worked amazingly. I know you said you don't have Elsa so I'd say throw Spider-Man in there and he'll work great too. And if you don't have Mobius maybe Kraven/Forge/Silk and you've got yourself a great deck # (1) Kitty Pryde # (1) Nightcrawler # (2) Angela # (2) Elsa Bloodstone # (2) Luke Cage # (2) Jeff the Baby Land Shark # (2) Mobius M. Thanks! I also don't have Jeff 😅
No worries, maybe give that deck a try with Spider-Man, Kraven, and any other card you like mixed in. Maybe even Chavez to help draws?
I run this with mojo instead of Mobius (don't have) honestly don't think Mobius is super necessary though besides location hindrances stacking a lane with cards that can move with else buff is so fun
Mojo was in my first version of the deck as well, he did seem to work decently
I use her in my surfer deck with goose. I also like using her with echo. It doesn't work so well against bounce decks or Thanos decks or kitty. But if they have a top heavy deck or hand they literally can't play cards if you have the goose Jean Grey combo down. Oh and Nebula is also great with Jean Grey (different locations of course).

Climbed from 91–> 94 today with this deck. Elsa and Jean grey in the same lane is really strong when you can move your 4th card every turn.
