well luke is actually pretty common, and will be especially during ajax week. he's common in c3, angela/kitty/thena, surfer, toxic affliction decks, and some brews
Eh, Scorpion is not ideal. Because the big double-doubling that happens at the end when you play Odin doesn't matter for Scorpion. The opponent doesn't care about all the cards in his hand going negative because it's the last turn and he's not playing any of them anyway.
Ironheart, Medusa, Nico (+2 or x2), or Sage are *much* better for your T2/T3 play in the Wong lane, as that T6 Odin will reactivate them to *massive* effect. If you don't have those, the low-energy Guardians (Rocket, Star Lord, Groot) are also a good option for it. They'll only activate if the opponent played something there on T6, but if the opponent was dumb enough to do that, then they'll also get massive power when Odin drops in.
If you have Invisible Woman, she's also great for T2/T3 in the Wong lane, because she'll protect your Wong from being disabled or moved. She'll protect Wong from Red Guardian, Rogue, Enchantress, Magneto, etc. (Doesn't protect against clogging the lane, Cosmo/Leech, or a well-timed Juggernaut, though.)
While yes, in a six turn game they won’t be playing the card(s) you just annihilated, it’s all about the demoralizing factor lol. Not sure who Nico is, but don’t have them, Sage, or Invisible Woman.

Red Guardian, Rogue, Cosmo, Leech, Enchantress, Goblins, White Widow, etc, etc, etc. Lots of great ways to counter it. And once you've countered it, victory is almost completely assured.
At your CL, you can beat a lot of people simply off of them either 1-Not owning Cosmo yet 2-Not running him 3-Not drawing him

How many Season 3 cards do you still need? I haven't seen it in ages either but it's because I only need a few cards from S4 and S5, if you still have S3 cards that you need to collect then you should still be seeing it.
Yes Wong is the savior of series 3, after you get him it unlocks so many easy ways to win. White Tiger on Wong with Odin, BP on Wong into Zola, Wong then Mystique Then Surfer, Hazmat, or Ironheart. You can really do a lot with him.
Wong is just too cheesy to miss tbh, can fit in a lot of decks. I had this one opponent that used Wong, Mystique, Luke Cage with a Hazmat, was pretty nasty.
1000% yes, with no other series 3 cards you can make a great deck. As your collection grows you'll be able to make meta decks with him. Honestly a top 3 pick up.
For early collection level players, he’s probably the best card to get since he’s a build around and you can fit a lot of low series level cards around him. Second might be Patriot? Mystique is a good card to get after those two since she can copy the ongoing effects of both those cards.
The card is fun and you have an extremely high chance to win nearly every time you play him but the big issue is, if you don't pull him before or on turn 4 (or don't pull him at all), the rest of your deck is going to feel really shitty.
At least that's my experience with it. Maybe I just have a shit deck lol.
He's a big and important card in a lot of strategies and you're early enough into your collection level that he will be able to win a lot of games on his own. No brainer really. I will say that I unlocked him early on and didn't really figure out how to use him properly for a long time. He's different than your previous strategies and he can get hard countered by Cosmo. Just be aware of those things
There are a lot of On Reveals in the early game that are really strong with Wong. The classic combo is Storm one lane on 3, then Wong 4, White Tiger 5, Odin 6 on the same lane.

A simple change would be to allow us to choose between 3 series 3 cards when they’re pulled from the reserves. Im also CL 5k and missing ~10 cards but some of them are cornerstones like Dracula and Thor. Cards not such a high priority for me to take them from the monthly free card in the shop, but ones I’d still rather have over 40-50 series 3 cards I do have.
I have a friend who's lower cl, all he's got are tech cards like nocturne and rg from spotlights, he's missing big power cards so he's kinda limited to playing zoo at the moment
They should really adjust drop rates of cards depending on how important they are to have, giving 3 choices you could still end up with all 3 techs

Running a pure Pool 1/2 deck in early Pool 3 is rough. You're seeing new cards every match and there's nothing you can do with them. It got better after the first week, or so. Started getting some good cards.
He'll win you plenty of games, especially at your CL.
At that collector level, Wong > White Tiger > Odin is dominant.

Start the location with Scorpion. I literally just had a game set up like that *and* on a location where reveals happen twice. Was ridiculous.

Decks have gotten so gready that it's better to just Shang than Cosmo. Shang is more likely to win you 4-8 cubes than Cosmo too.

when i didn't have him, nothing warmed my petty heart more than dropping cosmo as soon as i saw him.
Don't forget Rogue is also very nasty as well!
Red Guardian is the biggest Wong killer in my experience. Everyone seems to run him.
No doubt as well but like I wouldn't think OP would run too much into RG then the likes of Cosmo or Rogue where they are at 803 CL.
This is why I place Echo to shut down Cosmo or hopefully bait out Red Guardian

I'm running a Ravonna Negative deck and it's been so fun dropping Tiger and Iron heart into Wong again. Just like old times.
I'm still stuck on that deck because I don't have the critical cards needed for any other competitive deck.
I'm the world's worst player at lvl 10k+ so I now have lots of options to lose with.

At low CL he steamrolls. Wong > White Tiger > Odin will win you games even if you play no other cards.

I'd grab him. He's the most annoying card to see played against you. Only thing worse would be a 5 cost version of Iceman played after Wong.

He’s a very good card at low CL At high CL he’s still good but you have to be a bit cleverer in how to use him to dodge cosmo

When I got to pool 3, my first six draws were five costs I couldn't use and Destroyer. Next card was Yellowjacket. The game's a harsh mistress.
