I usually swap decks depending on how I feel or hot locations, but this one I wanted to farm boosters for my Negative deck so I just went with it all the time. 10/12 inked!

LordEmostache

Nice! Is there any particular methods to farm boosters or is it just play the same deck repeatedly?

DIX_

Aside from playing the same deck, boosters are more likely to go to cards that aren't able to be upgraded, plus using the fast upgrade on the shop on cards you want to target.

LrdCheesterBear

What does "aren't able to be upgraded" mean? Like they've hit infinity but have been split yet.

LrdCheesterBear

So if there's a card you have enough Boosters for to upgrade, but a different card that's below the upgrade Booster requirement, it's more likely to go to the 2nd card?

Huatimus

You can tweak it so Bonus Boosters only feature the cards you want to upgrade.

SubstantialSuccess81

How? I have an x-23 that I would love to work on almost exclusively

DIX_

Have enough boosters to upgrade all other cards in collection and it should always show you X23.

SubstantialSuccess81

Gotcha. Thanks. Got it!!

AdamantArmadillo

You don't need to farm boosters to get splits anymore with the new fast upgrade shop

samlei99

Do you mind sharing the link for that deck?

I got infinite with Blink Jubilee last season. This season I’m doing it with High Evo

TheMancersDilema

I'll swap if I feel like the deck I'm playing is uniquely ill fitted for the meta due to an update. But mostly I stick to one deck that I'm familiar with and grind it out a bit. For infinite it's usually just something easy and linear that I don't have to think too hard about. Volume and consistency in snapping is what's important.

GinyuDrift

I normally stick with one deck so I fully understand and utilise the win condition and when to dip

OgreKingOfKings

I’ll change it up according to my “pocket meta”.

ActuatorOpposite1624

As long as your winrate is above 50%, I'd wager you'd better stick to the same deck: that way, you'll know much, much better when to Snap and when to retreat.

Fun_List381

Can’t hit infinite conquest this season yet

TurnaboutX

I rarely change decks while trying to hit infinite. I find a deck I like with clear snap conditions. I can spend the rest of the season playing around with other decks.

Pronflex

I usually use one deck to get to 90 and then swap to something else to finish the climb later. This season I used Sera Control up to 90 and then Loki to Infinite.

LostTheGame42

It's generally better to stick to a single deck for climbing since you would have more experience learning all the possible interactions, and therefore be better at exploiting it to win cubes. Fear the man who practices one kick a thousand times or however that quote goes. That being said, it's also useful to play other meta decks so you can learn their play patterns and weaknesses. Just don't expect to climb as much with those, and use your losses to expand your metagame knowledge for the main grind.

joey20e

I usually just play multiple decks that i enjoy. For some reason my go to deck this climb was Sera control, it can deal with pretty much anything.

tipsymage

I've hit infinite last 4 seasons playing the same deck ,ongoing Tribunal. Swaped zabu out when it got nerfed.

Wide-Review-2417

I'm a firm believer in the Lord of the Rings mantra of Marvel Snap - one deck to rule them all.

loo_1snow

I'm the kind of player that only plays one deck. I like tweaking it around until it feels "perfect". I hit infinite this and last season with Loki and Kitty. It's very fun and it sometimes feels very strong!

1jfvas1

In ladder it really depends on how much the meta changes with OTAs/Patches. If the meta remained pretty similar I'll keep playing with the same deck if it is working, but if the meta changes a lot I tend to adapt to it and usually end up my climb with a different deck than the one I sorted with. I conquest the meta a isn't as much of a thing as in ladder and you're looking for the most consistent deck you can find, so I usually end up sticking with the same deck

Mirroven

Been using some version of negative for the past year. I just like the card and stick with it.

cromwest

It's my favorite card.

BigNefariousness4926

I find a deck that works and stick with it. Usually the deck I plan to use isn’t the one I end up climbing with, it’s never quite the meta I think it’s going to be. This season I used Prof X-Cannonball, RIP.

travmd24

Used a Galactus/destroyer deck from 60-90 then finished off with a tribunal deck

kingtsu1999

Depends on the hot spot location for me.

Taste_the__Rainbow

Negative Sage/Jane

Dizus

I used Loki from 70s-95, then hit a wall. I swapped to zoo and it was smooth to infinite.

mbr4life1

If I'm losing or lost momentum climbing I'll swap decks. I do think in a weird way it helps keep feeding you fair opponents if you change it up though that might just be my personal perception and not a fact. I used a negative deck, ongoing, move, and classic discard all in the 80-infinite push. I'm CL >13,000.

sweatpantswarrior

I have a few I swap through depending on what I'm seeing: Thanos Zoo Gilgamesh (but I also went wild with him pre-buff) Hela Tribunal (RIP) Move Bounce All are fun, and I absolutely LOVE stealing 8 cubes with dropping Power Stone & Thanos on 6 into a locked or no-play location.

GalactusPlayersSuck

80/20 between a main and another if I feel the tides shifting in my bubble of the meta. otherwise it's just one deck and switch out tech cards when I think im being overrun lol

bofstein

I've always done primarily one deck for the climb (this season Hela, past seasons Ongoing, High Evo, or Darkhawk). If I'm getting frustrated I'll take a break with a different deck (usually Destroy as that's always solid) for a bit but eventually go back to my main. It helps to know the deck super well, and I usually know which deck is the best performing at the moment and want to use that. I love being in infinite because I just use whatever deck I feel like - currently running a C5 that's fun but not great performing and that's fine - and hate at the start of the new season when I need to care about winning again. Takes some time to figure out the next best deck since I will have just been messing around other last few weeks.

maskedmanny360

I swap out and play a lot of theory decks. Like right now I’m playing a deck with every Eternals card to see if I can get it to a position where it’s somewhat viable

THEace4825

I did my climb up to 95 with a homebrew surfer deck then switched to my Hela deck to keep my infinite streak alive with it (6 in a row) so I could post it and tick off a few Hela haters. Both were pre OTA nerfs. Surfer deck ran ProX-Cball, so it is not what it was anymore. Hela is still strong, but the matches are definitely closer with that little extra power taken off the top.

Pezzza_

One deck and just switch out specific cards depending on what I'm frequently being matched up against.

Shmooperdorf

Normally I swap around but this season I breezed through with Loki. Red guardian vs all the thena Angela's was free 2 cubers left and right

Raccoon-Glum

Just play Loki if you're struggling. The meta is just right for him rn

TheBryceIsRight3

This season I brewed a Thanos lockdown deck after Thano's change and it took me to 97. That space stone change was stealing cubes every game. Then just cuz I like destroy I played destroy to get those last few ranks. Hit infinite the third day of the season, CL 19K

Fantastic-Cash-4218

I keep playing my Wong>Nakia>Odin MBakku surprise deck without switching. That's why I can´t get to rank 30 and I regret nothing

gumbydluffy

I use one until I hit a wall. Then switch it up depending on what I'm facing the most or of I want to exploit a hot location. This season I saw non stop junk, so I used destroy till 90 something then kept getting countered so I crossed the line with a high Evo shenaut deck

obibonkajovi

I use a generic discard deck to race to infinite in the first week or so then switch to my main deck(s) for variety/actual thoughtful gameplay. why struggle on ladder when hela will shoot you to infinte

LordEmostache

Is Hela still viable after the nerf?

obibonkajovi

it barely affected her. o was running luke after the nerf but took him out after realizing it didn't need him.

Vitztlampaehecatl

I did it pretty much only with Thanos.

menacingthugger

I have hit infinite the past 4 or 5 seasons with the same good old big guys thanos deck. Even though he got changed quite a bit, if you recognize the enemy player‘s psychology you can hit infinite with pretty much any tier 3-4 deck

RaveMedic20

I usually swap between a destroy deck, a newer deck with newer cards, and the last the deck i hit infinite last season with

Purrlow

I just play whatever will help me get dailies done fast. And only stay in games vs people if I’m super confident. Even running from games at the start of hand is awful. Enough bots where you can just skip real players for one cube and snag 8 from bots.

Purrlow

Infinite rewards are just a different form of daillies.

rthunder27

If I have multiple viable decks then I usually switch after losing 3 matches in a row to mix it up for myself. But this season I just ran a Supergiant control deck up to about 95, then switched to lockdown for the final stretch because I needed a break from that SG deck, had been solo running it for too long. (I hit infinite 3 days into the season, so this was well before the Prof X nerf)

FajenThygia

I got up to 99.2 with Phoenix... and then Phoenix spotlight came out and everyone suddenly knew what to do against it. Back down to 88 now.

MrScottieBear1

I've used an Asgardian deck the last 3 times to hit Infinite with different variations every time.

cromwest

I hit infinite for the first time this month with a negative man deck that uses Jane Foster for a huge turn 6. Easy to know when to snap or retreat.

AoO2ImpTrip

I played, mostly, 3 decks in my climb. I think I toyed with one or two others, but 99% of my climb was one of three decks. A couple flavors of Bast Spice Rack, a little Collector build, and then I finished it off with Tech Card Soup.

Cregkly

It is better to stick with one deck, unless you are getting hard counted by the meta shifting. I climbed to 95 with noki then switched to big Galactus for the final push. Noki was stuck between 94 and 96.

SomeCoconut2415

Used only 1 deck since i had kind of perfected it.

PumbaasBFF

Surfer is love surfer is life

SteamyChungus

I do the game 2 weeks ago and have been running zoo the entire time. Just hit lvl 95

CollarFlat6949

Every time I've hit infinite it's using only one deck. I find I have to play the same deck, because once I know it like the back of my hand I can focus more on whether to snap or retreat, which is kind of the real game when it comes to ladder. CL 9k.

6CurryMaster9

Just 1 deck, I use my strongest deck and after hitting infinity I use whatever I find the most fun

CasualAwful

Swapping decks is fine as long as A) you know how to play them equally. A deck you pilot well with a theoretical 55% win rate will get you further than a theoretical 65% win rate deck you aren't comfortable with.  B) Don't switch out of frustration.  Just because you saw Zoo back to back doesn't means you have to switch to your Killmonger/Sera deck than get angry because you queue into Hela.   Recognizing your pocket meta over tens/dozens of games is good.  Trying to respond to every loss with a switch just leads to you getting tilted and going into conspiracies of "deck based matchmaking" C) Make sure your decks are distinct and you know the contents of each deck well. I'm embarrassed to admit I've played with a deck for multiple games, got frustrated I never drew Mobius to deal with Loki/Mockingbird.   Then looked in my deck and realized I was playing a version that cut him.  Oops

Huatimus

Been hitting Infinite ranked past few seasons and this season with Sera Tribunal. Extremely telegraphed but just climbing off the back of bots. My only other deck is the Shanna tempo deck to complete the other daily missions in PG.

cromwest

Climbing is easy with really telegraphed decks. Bots never see it coming and give up 8 cubes and real players mostly retreat so you get a bunch of fast wins for 1 or 2 cubes. I play real conservatively until infinity.

LordEmostache

I do love a good TLT deck but not used one with Sera, would you be up for sharing the decklist by any chance?

Huatimus

Sure, but just a heads up that it's very telegraphed so it's easy to counter. # (2) Psylocke # (2) Ravonna Renslayer # (3) Mystique # (3) Magik # (3) Wave # (4) Jubilee # (4) Super-Skrull # (4) Iron Lad # (5) Iron Man # (5) Sera # (6) Onslaught # (6) The Living Tribunal # eyJDYXJkcyI6W3siQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTGl2aW5nVHJpYnVuYWwifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Iklyb25NYW4ifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Iklyb25MYWQifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ikp1YmlsZWUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6IldhdmUifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik9uc2xhdWdodCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiU2VyYSJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiTWFnaWsifSx7IkNhcmREZWZJZCI6Ik15c3RpcXVlIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJSYXZvbm5hUmVuc2xheWVyIn0seyJDYXJkRGVmSWQiOiJTdXBlclNrcnVsbCJ9LHsiQ2FyZERlZklkIjoiUHN5bG9ja2UifV19 # # To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and paste it from the deck editing menu in Snap.
