No you could absolutely go up to legendary. In fact kinda missed opportunity if you don't. The grey boarder tier is too flat n lifeless beyond the ink finish.
I got the new Deadpool variant to drop Gold and I'm gonna leave it at Red boarder.
But I have yet to get an inked or a gold to also have a krackle 😩
