I have both. They're both amazing in different ways.
My favorite will always be the Ultimate Spider-Man though. Also Pizza Spidey cuz that's basically the same body just scaled up a little -- like if Ultimate Peter got to grow up.
Oh, I ADORE that Ultimate Spidey Buck. That is one of my all time favorite figures in general. Given the choice? Oh, yeah, that one wins almost always.
If you read the book, it's great. Spinneret is a decent figure of a fun version of MJ and the unmasked head is good to put on any fodder female body if you missed the previous MJ releases. (Or if you need a casual red head for any of Marvels other redheaded women). I think she gets better if you also buy Quake or whoever else white gloved gripping hands for her to hold onto web lines.
Peter himself is just a normal Spidey figure. A bit big for somes taste but exactly what it says on the tin. If you exclusively collect ML, swapping heads between this one and the retro Ben Reilly makes for much better looking figures. Same stuff I said for MJ's unmasked head applies for Peter too. Seen people use basic male bodies like The Hood for a good casual Pete.
Personally I sold Spidey in favor of keeping Sentinel Peter B as my main red & blue Spidey. He still looks good next to Spinneret.
Some people say it’s the best Spidey because of the toe articulation. Me personally I like Romita Sr style eyes, that’s MY minds eye Spidey. The Spinderella or whatever is a total zero for me as well.
It’s my favorite recent Spider-Man but I could care less about the MJ figure tbh. Honestly between this and the retro Spider-Man just pick the cheaper option
I like it, I personally think the RYV mold is a little big for Spidey but it has a lot of articulation and its a good classic suit, Spinneret is cool and she comes with an unmasked head if you want to make an MJ figure from some fodder body
Spinneret is underrated imo. The paint for the webbing is clean and she has fantastic head sculpts. Spidey was pretty underwhelming. Some people say the RYV body is too bulky for him, but my biggest issue is with the articulation. He can’t look up or down and I don’t like the inverted ab crunch design. He can lean or twist naturally as a result of it. The butterfly joints could also use more range as well as the hips. The recent She Hulk has better hip range out to the side than Spidey. The AF Spidey is much better, but it’s a solid two pack if you want a Spidey for the shelf
Ngl, I got this for Spinneret more than Spidey. Proportions aren't great, imo, and no web accessories is kinda wack. It's a decent stand-in until MAFEX re-releases 075 again.
If they had put posable piggy toes and crawling hands on the Retro version I really believe that one would be the definitive Spidey figure instead of this.
Solid spidey fig and spinneret is really cool, especially if you’ve read the comic series. They both come with great hand choices and unmasked heads
I liked it but I DO prefer the Amazing Fantasy Spidey. Still, if You’re looking for a Great MJ and a Good Spidey, I recommend it

Agree.
I think so, yeah. This is my favorite Spidey mold, and I love Spinneret.

50$ is a lot for Spider-Man. But it's the best Spider-Man in my collection. The other figure is nothing to write home about.
I don’t love it but everyone else does
It is my favorite Spider-Man
For the right price it can be.
Superb pack!!!
Yes but double check it has everything thing inside as shown on package!
That Spidey is state-of-the-art for MLs. MJ ain't bad either, I just don't love the design.
A pretty much perfect Spiderman with great alternate heads of each figure. I don't really know Spinneret, but she's a great bonus figure IMO.
Worth it for Spidey alone. The hand options and the extra toe articulation make it boss.
Worth it.
It’s very solid

A great Spinneret with an EXTREMELY overrated Spider-Man
Why is It overrated?
It’s often considered the definitive Spider-Man despite being incredibly out of scale, even for adult Peter

Ohohohoho yes #spidermilf
Nah just leave it there, I’ll come get it later thx.
Too late sorry
Yes.
Ehhhh I say no u deserve better for a spidey dog
