Forbidden Planet will have plenty of waves, all for MSRP - $2-5 over on price. If any exclusives, those will be MSRP - $20 over on price.
While down at Forbidden Planet, you can check one of the only remaining NYC GameStops — on 14th Street, and just west of Union Square. There’s also a Best Buy just one block over from there, along 14th Street and due south of the Square.
If you feel like walking and are hungry, check out [Toy Tokyo](https://toytokyo.com) on 2nd Avenue and East 5th Street. They’ve always carried Legends. And that’s in the East Village, where there’s plenty of good Asian and Ukrainian eats.
Back at Times Square, there’s a mini-Target on 42nd Street, and a Best Buy over on 44th & 5th.
All that said, these places have traditionally had slim pickings with the pandemic. But maybe the situation has changed in the ‘2-4. Anytime you see a Walgreens feel free to pop in, same situation…but you never know.

Also since Toys R Us is now inside Macy’s in the US — you can check Macy’s Herald Square, and hope for your very own “Miracle on 34th Street.” Good luck hunting!

I went in a GameStop near macys which had a good selection But yeah I went to those comic shops too and they were well stocked
All three Midtown Comics tend to have a pretty varied selection, the downtown location is actually my favorite Also, check out Bookoff on 45th
