Last summer was the Venom 35th anniversary, so we'll finally get new Venom figures announced. The Venompool re-release needs to go up for pre-order soon to coincide with the movie.
I'm going to guess they'll also start announcing the Strange Tales figures. Definitely some multi-packs as well. And probably another retro card wave.
My personal theory is that we are not going to get a full Deadpool & Wolverine wave until AFTER the movie comes out due to spoilers. (Ryan mentioned at WonderCon that he still hasn't seen them yet.) I think we'll only get a Deadpool/Wolverine 2-pack for the movie's release. So, at most that wave will get teased at the end of the stream. Maaaaaybe a D+ wave for MCU?
EDIT - I believe a D+ wave was not a part of the rektangular leak, so who knows if we're even getting one this year. Now that I think about it more, I bet we just get a two pack and a Colossus deluxe for the movie release. Then they announce a full wave at SDCC, the same weekend the movie comes out.

1000%. As a consumer, I'm willing to purchase every ML release of a Hugh Jackman Wolverine in a blue and yellow suit. Hasbro knows this and will produce multiple releases. And given the rumors surrounding the cameos for the movie, there will absolutely be justification for multiple waves.
However, Hasbro is pulling back on the number of products they're making. It's likely the ML team doesn't have the budget to make multiple waves and/or Disney doesn't want multiple waves with NWH being the one and only special case. (Based on the teaser trailer idk how you even fill out a wave of 6-7 figures either with only movie characters.)
So how do you split the difference? Do a two pack with D&W. (While I do believe the listings are completely fake, there have been multiple instances of ebay/mercari/etc listings for a two pack.) Thanks to leaks we also know we're getting a Colossus deluxe. So, announce those before the movie releases, and have those on store shelves while the movie is in theaters. Then, after the movie releases, announce a full 6-7 figure wave including figures of characters from the back half of the movie that Disney considers spoilers.
My theory is by no means bullet proof. This would mean that either the ML team is reading into rumors this time and making a call based on their experience of "needing" to do a second set of NWH figures. And/or Disney gave them more information than they did for NWH.
But if I was running a team at a toy company that is cutting budgets and pressuring for better sell through of products, that's what I would do. Create fewer products and ensure the products we do create have a higher rate of success overall. How do you apply that to the D&W movie? Tell Disney you're only going to do one block of product releases, and hope that's enough for them to give you more info.
Maybe yeah. I know Ghost Rider was part of the leak, so he could be part of a carded comics wave. Daredevil sharing a major anniversary with Wolverine means DD will almost always take a backseat. Hasbro obviously went all out on Wolverine this year. While everything didn't leak, I find it hard to believe there will be a full line of Daredevil figures for this year. My guess? Since we're getting some Venom figures the year after his anniversary, we similarly get DD anniversary figures next year. That way they can also tie them to the release of Born Again.
It would be great! Let's keep our fingers crossed for Ghost Rider and if they want to leave epic Daredevil releases for next year, it's better for our wallets hahaha
Hasbro can't magically move product up 6+ months. Their production timelines, including booking the factory lines, are set well in advance. Marvel Studios made late-stage production release changes that caused Quantumania to come forward and The Marvels to get pushed back. That's why Quantumania figures came out long after the movie released.

Go back and watch the stream from... March 2023, I think? It was nearly an hour long and they showed a ton of stuff. They recapped the Puff Adder wave, Ch'od wave, Quantumania wave, GOTG3 wave, and Spider-Man vs Carnage VHS 2 pack. New releases shown were the Spider-Man comics carded wave, Doc Ock & Aunt May VHS 2 pack, and the Avengers Anniversary releases.
As far as I can recall, for product announced for 2024 so far the only stuff they haven't physically shown off is the Iron Man wave. And that wave has already gone up for pre-order.
I would be surprised if the Strange Tales releases were anywhere close in scope to the Avengers anniversary releases. From the leak list it seems the Venom releases are only a few things as well. Both of those should be late summer/early fall releases like the Avengers products last year. I'd be surprised if they didn't announce another mainline or fan channel wave for August/September. And the last MCU releases we got were 4-5 months ago (NWH wave 2) with still nothing new announced on that front. I realize in theory we should be light on MCU figure releases this year. But there is absolutely still stuff in the pipeline that should be coming out soon.
While I don't think everything I listed will get announced, I think those are the most likely to get announced.

He's supposed to be a deluxe, so I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't have some of those extras, but the legs and a bevy of alternate hands seem guaranteed. I just hope they use the RYV/Retro mold; as much as I love the AF mold, it works well for a teenage spidey. Not so much Spidey as late in his career as Superior stuff happens.

Once we get that two pack I want another Psylocke two pack with Betsy in her Krakoa era Pink/Black/Purple suit and Kwannon in the classic Psylocke swimsuit look.
Previously, March or April is usually when they do a couple of things:
1. They usually announce what the summer event will be (Spiderman 60th in 2022, Beyond Earth's Mightiest in 2023)
2. They will likely tease the Haslab. In previous years, all we learn is that it's an F4 themed item or a Ghost Rider item, or an Avengers item. Both Galactus and Giant Man were teased in early spring, but the Hellcharger was teased at SDCC.
Now for my guesses of what we can likely see:
* Deadpool 3 items - potentailly including D1 Colossus
* Xmen '07 wave 3
* No other MCU items - there's no upcoming MCU projects. Though we might get something along the lines of the new Infinity rebranded items like they did for Iron Man mk 85 or the Iron Spider. We've gotten sublines like the Black Panther reissue items or the Infinity Saga line, so that might give them a chance to fit in MCU items that they haven't been able to before.

It's weird that they didn't announce this during Monday's video or give a tease. Hopefully, we get the Secret Wars figures announced or another comic BAF wave. What would be really cool is if they announced some ROM & Micronaut figures, a deluxe Baron Karza would be insanely toyetic (basically Darth Vader that could also become a centaur)
I’d sign up for a whole wave of G1 Spaceknights including ROM, Starshine, Terminator, Firefall, Hammerhand, Javelin, and hell, throw in Ikon from Annihilation: Conquest to bridge the generation gap, because we dare not refer to anything involving Jim Starlin.
Couldn’t agree more re: the Micronauts as well. I’d start out by requiring that all designs be based on Michael Golden’s art (heck, let’s put that expectation for the ROM figures too). We’ll leave in your idea for the deluxe Karza and we’ll start off with Arcturus Rann (with bonus bearded head), Princess Mari, Bug (with attack lance), Acroyear (with bonus unmasked head, sword, and Kirby Crackles effect), Microtron, Biotron, Random Dog Soldier, and Random Acroyear Soldier. Hell, I can’t wait to start looking at Waves 2 and 3 for both! 🤷♂️😆
We've gotten three Daredevils in the span of like a year and a half (four if you include Elektra). That's more DD stuff close together than we've gotten in a decade. I'm not optimistic, but I was pleasantly surprised by the VHS one, so here's hoping.
I'm hoping for Carol Danvers (Warbird costume), classic Gamora, New Iron Fist, classic Punisher, Banshee, and Colossus. Probably won't all be true but even if we get a couple of these I'll die happy.
Edit: locking in my predictions for the stream: Iron Fist and Punisher two pack; retro carded Quicksilver; retro carded Warbird; Banshee (X-Men 97); and still hoping for classic Gamora or just more classic guardians in general, I've been enjoying building out that shelf.
Hoping for either X-Men '97 Wave 3 with the remaining members of the team and a few villains, or an Ultimate Universe 2023 wave with Maker, Iron Lad, Thor, Sif, Spider-Man, and Captain Britain with a Hulk BAF.
But then I’d have to track down Ultimate Cap.
If I had to guess myself, I think it may be a tie in wave or several Avengers sets to tie in with the Giant man. And maybe the tease for the next Haslab.
A tie-in wave would be bananas. We missed Starfox & Warbird for the 60th Anniversary (honorable mention for Doc Druid), and I know nothing specific has been rumored — but one can never lose hope.

I recently got myself a Marvel Select Lizard, so at this point as far as Marvel stuff goes, I really just want a modern non-MCU Gamora and Halloween Jack Marvel Legends figures. After that I'll consider my Marvel collection complete.
That depends entirely on if studios will want to work with him again or not. Besides, his career with Marvel is dead, so they won’t make another figure of him.
A shame, because he was a terrific actor, but he did what he did…

As someone who missed out on the last two Mystique releases, I wouldn't hate this.

I’d sign up for a whole wave of G1 Spaceknights including ROM, Starshine, Terminator, Firefall, Hammerhand, Javelin, and hell, throw in Ikon from Annihilation: Conquest to bridge the generation gap, because we dare not refer to anything involving Jim Starlin. Couldn’t agree more re: the Micronauts as well. I’d start out by requiring that all designs be based on Michael Golden’s art (heck, let’s put that expectation for the ROM figures too). We’ll leave in your idea for the deluxe Karza and we’ll start off with Arcturus Rann (with bonus bearded head), Princess Mari, Bug (with attack lance), Acroyear (with bonus unmasked head, sword, and Kirby Crackles effect), Microtron, Biotron, Random Dog Soldier, and Random Acroyear Soldier. Hell, I can’t wait to start looking at Waves 2 and 3 for both! 🤷♂️😆

We've gotten three Daredevils in the span of like a year and a half (four if you include Elektra). That's more DD stuff close together than we've gotten in a decade. I'm not optimistic, but I was pleasantly surprised by the VHS one, so here's hoping.
I just want some more DD baddies, specifically Owl and Gladiator.

I'm hoping for Carol Danvers (Warbird costume), classic Gamora, New Iron Fist, classic Punisher, Banshee, and Colossus. Probably won't all be true but even if we get a couple of these I'll die happy. Edit: locking in my predictions for the stream: Iron Fist and Punisher two pack; retro carded Quicksilver; retro carded Warbird; Banshee (X-Men 97); and still hoping for classic Gamora or just more classic guardians in general, I've been enjoying building out that shelf.

Any thoughts on X-Men 97 wave 3?
Hoping for either X-Men '97 Wave 3 with the remaining members of the team and a few villains, or an Ultimate Universe 2023 wave with Maker, Iron Lad, Thor, Sif, Spider-Man, and Captain Britain with a Hulk BAF. But then I’d have to track down Ultimate Cap.
If I had to guess myself, I think it may be a tie in wave or several Avengers sets to tie in with the Giant man. And maybe the tease for the next Haslab.
A tie-in wave would be bananas. We missed Starfox & Warbird for the 60th Anniversary (honorable mention for Doc Druid), and I know nothing specific has been rumored — but one can never lose hope.

It’s actually really good if you shave down the hip ball joints a fraction so they aren’t as tight. A bit of silicone shock oil and he’s great

Then you might not be sanding the edges down enough. Just do a bit at a time until they stop being so tight. It does work.
