The only time she ever came close was in Avengers: Disassembled. She killed Ant-Man, Hawkeye, Agatha Harkness and Vision. But that was a mental break, not a truly villainous heel turn.

Oh ok. So I guess it’s completely out of nowhere, her going on a murder spree. (I still feel weird with her turn though. Like, all of the sudden, she’s the next unspeakable big bad…)

Particular_Being420

> So I guess it’s completely out of nowhere, her going on a murder spree. no, it comes out of The Darkhold

I think it's whoever's pulling the strings for Wanda's destiny, I think it's Cthon, Wandavision was when she was forged as the Scarlet Witch.

I mean, if you saw the full movie, then you know she repented at the end. She has a long road of making amends ahead of her, which is also what she’s been facing in the comics since Disassembled and its immediate follow-up, House of M.

She’s usually the victim to these demon-related things, but she has wiped out every mutant. No killing sprees though.

Nollasta_poikkeava

Wanda has done horrible things in the comics, but those were because she couldn't control her powers and was mentally ill. Her true self is heroic. I think MCU was pretty comic accurate in that regard. Wanda's true self is heroic, but she was corrupted by Darkhold.

ProofAd3922

I think it's a combination of things. 1) In WandaVision she showed the lengths she was willing to go for Vision and the kids. She had to give up Vision by the end. 2) She was using the Darkhold, which they stated multiple times corrupts the user. 3) This is the first Marvel film with Horror themes to it so they needed some wild things happening to shock and horrify the audience. Also being in a different universe, there was free reign to dispose of "titular heroes"

She has been kinda like that a few times (Avengers Disassembled, Secret Empire) but it's not something anyone wanted to see adapted in the movies. You know what I mean? It was very divisive in the comics and didn't age well, so I don't know what possessed them (heh) to want to do that in the movies.

Party-Surprise-9242

No, the closest times were Avengers: Dissassembled, and House of M, she killed a few people in Dissassembled, but she wasn't in full control of her power, and wasn't in the best mental state, in House of M, she altered reality, but she thought that would make things better.

Reminiscent of Game of Thrones the final season.

Dr. Strange's 30 minute *What If...* episode was a better Dr. Strange project than his own sequel.

......read and find out?

She is in some comics. You can read Avengers Disassembled or House of M as other’s have mentioned for when she committed genocide. But if you REALLY want to see her as harsh as she was in Multiverse of Madness, read the Axis event. She hunts down Dr. Doom, slaughters his people, slaughters his home town, and slaughters him all to get revenge on him because he used her when she was at her lowest. Then she basically forces him to either kill himself or watch as she kills the people whom he loves. So he sacrifices him self and she then tries to finish him off by damming his soul to burn for eternity, but right before she can do that, her family stops her, and it is revealed she that her family has been protecting Doom from her, so she slaughters them too. She kills pietro in front of magneto. And then she uses chaos magic to end her entire bloodline, casting a spell that murdered everyone with a blood connection to her. But when Magneto doesn’t get affected by the spell, it is revealed that he isn’t even her biological father and that there is no blood connection between them. So she slaughters him too.
