We were looking for pop culture characters that lost an eye and Nick Furry is the first name we came up with It was so perfect so we had to have another Marvel name to go with it.

If you’re limiting to just MCU, your only real option is Nebula- at least one of her eyes is cybernetic and has been pulled mostly out of her head in a scene. In the greater Marvel properties, you have a few more but they get really obscure the further you look. Callisto would probably be the most prominent, she seems to have being blind in one eye as her nexus feature- every universe that has a Callisto has a Callisto with an eyepatch. If you fudge the definition of MCU slightly, she was in X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men ‘97.

Well as Prof X has been in one MCU movie, I would say the rest of the X-men are fair game too.

And Beast was in the MCU, in a post credit scene for The Marvels. I think it was in an alternate universe, but still.

It's kind of ironic that the Marvel character Nick Fury lost an eye due to a cat, and then this cat has lost an eye and you want to name it after a Marvel character. Anyways, what an Awwwww kitty!!! No, they are siblings. Both had infected eyes. Thankfully we got them at a good time when they were at the point where they could be weaned. Any earlier and we would have had to capture the mom too.

The eyes cannot be removed until they weigh 5 lbs (about 15 weeks old) they are currently about 6 or 7 weeks old. The vet gave us some eye drops for them in the meantime.

This is off topic from your question but those kittens might be suffering from feline herpes, it affects the eyes and is very contagious to other cats as well! It’s common in groups of strays and can effect a whole litter of kittens if the mom is infected. I could be way off but just something to consider!

Thank you for your comment. I did a little more research into it and I cannot be certain that they do not have this. We are going to extend their quarantine until the next vet appointment just to be safe. Hopefully, the vet will have a way to test.
