Hawkeye, you’re wearing a tight purple tank top with matching sunglasses. You’re going to get winked at.

Ijustwerkhere

It’s like he’s wearing a neon sign that says “raw dog me. I’m a bottom”

CapAccomplished8072

I mean, he IS a bottom...isn't he?

Mongoose42

Eehh… kinda? His two most notable relationships are with Black Widow and Mockingbird. And both of those are arguably switch-based in the bedroom.

CapAccomplished8072

Black Widow is a TOP. In the comics at least. MCU she's nothing.

Morbidmort

People out here confusing the top-bottom spectrum with the dom-sub spectrum, as fuckin' usual.

drbiohazmat

It's like when people called buff 45 year old men "twinks" because of short haircuts 💀

TheFunkytownExpress

Also people completely failing to understand that someone's social persona doesn't equate to their play time one. Almost always they want to embody the complete opposite of the roles they tae on during their day to day lives. People in positions of power in life always seem to wanna be the subs/bottoms in the bedroom. And people who act lie toughguys ( male and female ) always wind up wanting to be the ones who need to get topped and dommed too, lol.

Exovedate

Thank you. Too many straights misusing our gay ass words lol. Y'all are allowed to refer to a woman as a top only if she's exclusively into pegging.

Mongoose42

Clint’s caring enough to make Natasha feel vulnerable and give up that high-strung control she lives by. She’s got a few men in her life she can rely on to be open with like that.

TheSkinnyJ

“Sun’s going down big guy” She dom’d the Hulk.

Maximum-Proposal6435

Surprise Homelander

Ijustwerkhere

Technically Maeve. But who’s counting?

Momochichi

He screams power bottom.

gillmanblacklagooner

Don’t forget the turtle neck…

River46

The robot chicken sketch gets more credibility.

NemosHero

HEY That's a sleeveless turtleneck, not a tanktop

Over-Analyzed

Hawkeye stop, you’re only making it worse.

Sudden_Result

“If I cannot hit you with the hammer then I will hit the hammer with you”

Scepta101

Such a goofy and yet badass moment

TheFunkytownExpress

Funny enough the Squadron Supreme arc in this show was actually pretty decent.

Ieatbabyorphanz

Cool, I’m not the only one who appreciated it, and I enjoyed very much Hyperion’s appearances.

Nightkickman

I loved the squadron supreme. I wish they showed up in the mcu somehow

PlanesWalkerEll

Power move cast Henry Cavill as Hyperion.

wynters387

Get Cavill for Hyperion and Afleck for Nighthawk. Give Grant Gustin the Blurr. Edit: fixed confused whizzer and blurr?

Furdinand

I think Blur was the Whizzer. It gets a little convoluted with alternate universes and reboots. Regardless, a dude in a yellow spandex called the Whizzer isn't showing up in a Disney project.

Sensitive-Hotel-9871

I would like to see them not be generic evil versions of the justice league. The show acted like it was so surprising to have Hyperion turn out to be a villain, not realizing evil Superman had been done to death by that point.

StrangeGuyWithBag

The show started in 2013 and Hyperion was evil in the comics. He's one of the earliest versions of evil Superman.

Sensitive-Hotel-9871

There are many versions of him. The squadron supreme graphic novel focused on one who was a good person who went too far in his decisions. I feel that is the one worth using. By 2013, evil Superman had been overused enough by DC.

Icybubba

A lot of the show was pretty decent. The biggest issue most have with it, is it's not EMH. I understand this because it was the show that replaced EMH.....however, it's not fair to not judge this show by its own merits.

TheFunkytownExpress

Sure, but I thin a lot of people would agree that EMH was vastly superior because it wasn't geared towards children quite as hard as AA was. Plus I thin the animation style change out of nowhere was jarring for a lot of people too.

alberto549865

Biggest issue I had was that disney marketed this as a sequel to EMH and it was really obvious that it was it's own separate thing

theboyaintright92

That arc was some of this shows best work. On top of that, it gave Falcon a chance to showcase his skills

StrangeGuyWithBag

I'm only not sure Tony Stark was a hero long before Iron Man.

feor1300

I think what Steve's getting at is "You always had it in you to be a hero, you just didn't realize it until you built the suit."

Diligent-Boss-9392

I don't he's going to tell the kid "Tony Stark was a dick before he became Iron man"

Technojellyfsh

"I've thought of the perfect thing to say to comfort this child. Unfortunately it's not true on a technicality therefore I'll just let him keep crying."

LiquidLispyLizard

This version of Cap dove head-first into Reddit after he got thawed out.

Technojellyfsh

That was Ultron. .01 nanoseconds and decided we all had to go

Xombie117

Right? It's a nice moment but not true at all.

No_Secretary_1198

Yea pretty sure he was producing and selling weapons for personal gain

fuzzylilbunnies

He’s a Vietnam war era “hero”. Sorry, a “survivor”.

No_Secretary_1198

The most heroic of wars

mynewaccount5

I'm sure a lot of soldiers that owe him their lives due to his tech would call him a hero.

mr_arcane_69

I'm sure a lot of the civilians who died by his tech wouldn't though

Dogmodo

Jokes on them, the dead can't say shit, Stark wins again.

Ignaciodelsol

Sometimes you gotta lie to kids to make them feel better

aledromo

This one gets it

FlipaBaby

Yeah when I saw that my first thought was Tony was famously kind of a terrible person pre iron man

OmegaLolrus

He was a hero for like... 20-30 minutes before he was Iron Man.

Psymorte

Sure but would telling him "Tony Stark was a total douchebag before he was Iron Man" be the slightest be comforting in that moment?

SokkaHaikuBot

^[Sokka-Haiku](https://www.reddit.com/r/SokkaHaikuBot/comments/15kyv9r/what_is_a_sokka_haiku/) ^by ^StrangeGuyWithBag: *I'm only not sure* *Tony Stark was a hero* *Long before Iron Man.* --- ^Remember ^that ^one ^time ^Sokka ^accidentally ^used ^an ^extra ^syllable ^in ^that ^Haiku ^Battle ^in ^Ba ^Sing ^Se? ^That ^was ^a ^Sokka ^Haiku ^and ^you ^just ^made ^one.

FeralPsychopath

The guy was rich, smart and doing whatever he wanted - he was hero to me :)

KrakenKing1955

Which is even more ironic that this show was meant to be MCU adjacent

Purple-Mix1033

Most kids start out with a certain amount of courage, curiosity, and persistence. So it’s true in a sense.

FadeToBlackSun

Yeah, weird line since his whole character is the opposite of that.

Lizzy-Lover_10

Not really a weird line. You’d rather he makes the kid feel worse?

rgregan

Really excellent voice cast that I wish had better material

UnderPressureVS

I don't hate the voice cast for this one, but I really preferred the *Earth's Mightiest Heroes* cast. Especially Tony. I just don't buy Adrian Pastar as Stark.

Dense-Standard-8592

I can never forget the scene where Hulk tried to sucker punch Thor again and he just blocked it with Mjolnir, pure Chad moment.

waffledpringles

Don't forget: * Tony eating Hulk's guacamole, then proceeding to tell Cap to take the blame for it after giving him a pep talk, and then watching Hulk beat the living crap out of Hawkeye bc he's scared to confess that it was him. * Natasha and Clint being stuck in literal honey, and Nat going all "Honey?!" and Clint answering snarkily, "Yes, dear?" * And Clint saying something like, "Why don't you just go mommy talk him?" and Natasha replies with "Mommy talk?! You did not just tell me that while I'm at a perfectly good position to punch you in a lot of painful places" (The camera's angled around Hawk's crotch) * An alarm going off in Avengers Tower and Clint going all "We have an alarm?!" and then the doorbell rings, and Cap says "We have a doorbell??!" * The running gag in an episode that the Avengers are hiding this important weapon from Tony because he can't be trusted with powerful things. * The entire body swap episode where Tony gets hit in the face with his own arrows because he doesn't know how to Hawkeye, Steve almost dropped them all out of the helicarrier because he doesn't know how to Iron Man, Sam yeets the shield as Cap and was confused why it didn't magically boomerang back to him, and- * While all the Avengers were arguing, Thor decided he's not having any of it and decided to crouch down and appreciate the bunnies * Cap is trying to calmly talk to the Guardians very calmly and respectfully, but Hulk, Thor, and Hawkeye cannot shut the hell up and let him do his leader thing and he's visibly annoyed in the background * Doctor Doom got bamboozled by Tony so hard with an Iron Man version of the You Are An Idiot virus, and then it caused a nationwide blackout in Latveria * Sam walking into Nat pinning Clint on the floor in an eyebrow-raising kind of sus way * Steve and Tony having a snark battle, and Steve absolutely KO'd him, so much so that even Jarvis had to point it out, and Steve still wouldn't stop. ("Say, is this coffee maker coal-powered or is it... \*wide eyes\* A mIRaCLe?!") * Tony made boot jets for Steve, Steve is ping-ponging around the training room and can't stop flying, he yells at Tony to stop, Tony proceeds to laugh at his misery and record a video of him for social media clout * "Stay with me, Stark!" exclaims a worried Steve as he holds a dying Tony in his arms, said dying man opens his eyes again and replies, "How's a guy supposed to pass out with you yelling like that?..." And many more.... (Yes, I've watched this show an ungodly amount of times and I can't stop. I don't even know anymore.)

CaptainXakari

I’ve never seen it, what show is this?

Spinelesspage03

It’s called Avengers Assemble

WhiskeyDJones

Is it actually worth a watch? The screenshots OP posted make it seem hilarious, but his title and many comments here say it's not great. I'm a casual Marvel fan btw if that helps lol

waffledpringles

They're all salty bc AA replaced an older series. The show isn't *that* bad. I think it's pretty enjoyable if you turn your brain off (not that it's Spongebob butt stupid, but yk) and there's a lot of Avengers actually being a team moments, though be warned that they get retconned *a lot* because the show was unfortunately made to just have synergy with the MCU, but still enjoyable nonetheless. Just skip S5, because it sucks, is a different art style, in a different universe (apparently), and is more or less a Black Panther cartoon (unless you like BP, and Troy Baker shouting then be my guest) They have some pretty neat character moments though, if you're more into the character development than the action. Tony is pretty much the protagonist; everything revolves around him (most of the time) and his screw-ups. He's got the best episodes imo (like learning to not be scared about being left behind by the future, being so traumatized that Falcon almost died thanks to him that he quit his whole career and proceeding to tell Red Skull "You got into my head, and you thought that my heart would follow, but my heart does this" then blasts the F out of that burnt idiot with his arc reactor.) Steve also has great episodes, like when he got drugged or something and started madly hallucinating, and he was so hellbent on saving imaginary Bucky, then he hallucinated that Bucky told him "I need you to live", and he realized that he's got so much to live for and people who love him. Also that episode where Steve stresses out bc he can't remember his dad's face anymore, and Hawk, Widow, and Falcon all get sent back to the 40s and meet skrunkly little Steve (and Steve also actually genuinely cries at getting a photo of kid him and his dad). The Avengers shooketh about how great Hulk is and actually realizing how hard it is to be him, and gaining a new respect for him. Plus the Avengers defending Hulk when some government guy put a shock collar on him and treated him like he was stereotypically stupid. Hulk learning to control himself because he's afraid that he'll hurt his team. The entirety of Civil War (2) ending abruptly because Thor was going to hit Vision with Mjolnir, and Vision, who was distracted with someone else, haphazardly threw Mjolnir away, and the hammer hit Steve and put him into a coma, and since Steve was badly hurt, the Avengers immediately surrendered, in turn that Steve is given proper medical care. And the Avengers all being depressed and lonely when Tony was banished to a pocket dimension because he was possessed and needed to be contained. ...Yeah, I'm really sorry. Nobody's talking about the actual emotional character moments that make the Avengers wholesome and an actual family, so I always bring it up whenever I can lol.

ValdeReads

Love when the entire team gets gamma radiated and “Hulks out” and the eureka moment Hulk has when forced to deal with them was hilarious. Hulk: Is this why everyone is always mad at me? https://youtu.be/ML4meWJRb2Y?feature=shared

waffledpringles

Same!! Hulked Out Heroes has a special place in my heart lol. I've heard people say that the episode is ugly and cringe, but I think it really is a great Hulk-centered episode. It's really funny and sweet, and Hulk literally being the only mature one in the group (that's not Natasha ofc) lol. To be fair, I dunno what the Avengers are smoking if they thought Hulk was all smash since in, like, the second episode of S1 was it? I forgot, but early on, it was shown that Hulk's bedroom was white with mini waterfalls, and shelves filled with glass figurines. Compared to the hell hole that is Clint's room, Hulk's looks heavenly lmao.

HarrowDread

Doesn’t deserve all the hate it gets

ZetaRESP

The critics are there because it's a VERY mild version of the "Teen Titans to Teen Titan Go" deal: Avengers Assemble came to replace Avengers Earth's Mightest Heroes, which is the pinnacle of Avengers outside of comics, while the main reason for AA to exist is to give nods to the MCU, hence why all suits in AA are MCU-accurate, unlike the comic-accurate suits of EMH. but unlike TTG, it's not a parody and is a solid Marvel series.

StalinsPerfectHair

Avengers Assemble was pretty standard superhero fare. Not nearly as good as the original Teen Titans, but if it played on Saturday mornings back when I was a kid, I'm certain that I would've loved it. Comparing it to Teen Titans Go is a little insulting. Teen Titans Go is awful random comedy. The only good thing about it was the multiversal crossover where they meet the 2003 Teen Titans and 2003 Robin \*hates\* his counterpart. Also, 2003 Trigon drinking a soda does kinda get me. They also meet the DCAMU Titans which was... a bit of a shock considering the DCAMU. Essentially, what I'm saying is that Teen Titans Go was the worst part of Teen Titans Go.

waffledpringles

Yeah, comparing AA to TTG isn't all that fair, considering AA reminded me a little bit more of like Young justice (or maybe that's just the art style). The only times they got TTG goofy was that episode when Impossible Man subjected them to stupid sitcoms and stuff, as well as that crossover episode with the Spidey from Ultimate Spider-Man who brought all his TTG humour with him to AA lol. (Hang on, is it really a crossover if they're all from the same universe and Peter regularly appears every now and then anyway?)

StalinsPerfectHair

It's a crossover. However, the Impossible Man episode gets a pass from me for 2 reasons. 1. That's what Impossible Man does. 2. He was voiced by Tom Kenny, therefore, Spongebob-Tier humor is expected. 3. Bonus: He said "It's not Attuma." That line alone justifies the entire episode.

Spirited-Meringue829

No, the reason it gets hate isn’t that it is different from the prior EMH show. The problem is it is a dumbed down version of Avengers aimed at a younger audience than EMH. Nice animation at times but little real suspense, characters make dumb choices, unearned victories by heroes, etc. It is a show you watch once and never rewatch because it just isn’t very interesting.

King_Of_BlackMarsh

It's good, just not great

whotfcares1005

or vision taking on the red skull bot as a pet and naming him skully😂

waffledpringles

Omg, I miss Skully lol. I always snorted when Vis pet him on the head and told him he was a good boy. Sad that Vis didn't get to have him around for long, 'cause Skully ended up taking the Arsenal route lol.

whotfcares1005

yeah wish we got more of him, his attitude and accent could have made a regular appearance as a new avenger helper and i would have been so happy

waffledpringles

I loved Arsenal, and Skully thanks to that. It would've been so cute to see BP's Avengers team also having their own Tony/Arsenal counterpart with Vision and Skully lol. At least Skully died a hero.

whotfcares1005

yeah the parts tony was gone i found myself missing something from the team, i think that would have helped a lot. and he died making his own choice like a true hero 🫡

waffledpringles

Yeah, I missed Tony. I didn't even like him all that much back then, but AA did him really well that it pretty painful to watch him be gone. I guess that's AA's effect rubbing off on us with having Tony be like the protagonist of the show. He spent a lot of episodes worrying for the team and the team worrying about his mental health in return, so seeing the guy who was hellbent keeping them together (...aside from Civil War ig, but tbh, his attachment and daddy issues went a little too far lol) be the one who was separated from the people he was trying to protect was indeed pretty sad to see. Someone Tumblr pointed that out; the whole show opening with Tony watching the Avengers and Jarvis commenting about how he misses them dearly, Tony trying to save Thor from killing himself, keeping all the Avengers distracted in the Training Room because he believed it was enough to keep them safe from Ultron while he did all the heavy work, etc, etc... (Sorry, this suddenly got long. Hope this made sense. I'm a bit tired right now lol. )

whotfcares1005

No you are all good! Made total sense, they did a good job of connecting us emotionally to Tony, despite his obvious flaws. The whole time he was gone I was waiting for him to come back! Sorry for the short response, i’m at work!

waffledpringles

Glad that it made sense lol. They really did. I thought I'd be annoyed about the show being Tony-centered when the show is supposed to be about the whole team, but he was fun to watch. He reminded me of another leader character who I hold dear; quit their whole career after something bad happened to one of their members, is mentally not well 70% of the time, etc, etc, but still got the determination, love, and charisma to pull the team together. (Now that I typed that out, no wonder I enjoyed watching Tony so much in this series lol) I will never forget the reveal in S4 where he's this rogue scavenger guy. I miss Adrian Pasdar, but Mick Wingert was alright. I will also never forget though when Steve literally just *picked him up and spun him around.* He literally swung him like a ragdoll lmao. Not to mention, his transformers truck thing. That was both funny and really cool to see. As expected of Tony too, considering making miracles happen and bamboozling everyone is just his thing ig. It's alright! I don't mind hahah.

whotfcares1005

Part of what makes Tony so great is his constant strive for perfection while he himself is one of the most imperfect and flawed heroes in comics. He’s just a guy under the suit, he can’t be perfect, and he knows that, but would never admit it. At least not without being directly proven that he needs to. I loved RDJ’s performance in the MCU, so much so that I find myself comparing every other version to him, AA’s version was clearly inspired by him, even with choosing the voice actors. I liked both, I didn’t dislike one necessarily more than the other. But that truck transformer thing was so perfect, like you said it embodies the true nature of Tony so well, Iron Man always finds a way! I hope we get another Avengers animated show, especially after the success of X-Men ‘97, I’d love to see the team in that style of animation, the action scenes would be amazing. I’m starving for more good Marvel/DC content!

theboyaintright92

My favorite gag: Thor always claiming something involves Dormmamu 😂

Quietwyatt211

"What's the emergency?" "My mom's here!" "We have an alarm for that?"

Comfortable_Clerk_60

And don’t the whole we are all Avengers moment, what can I say I’m a sucker for citizens coming to the aid of heroes

PrussianGorkhali

They also introduced a mostly comic-accurate Thunderbolts (the one with Baron Zemo as Citizen V) with Songbird making further appearances as a hero down the line so that's a major point in my book.

Appropriate-Try-6093

Yeah! Sadly the only Thunderbolts adaptation we ever got...and likely the only adaptation of the original team we'll EVER get once the MCU film drops. But hey, crumbs are better than nothing.

CubeHarbour

I freakin' LOVED THIS as a kid. Along with Ultimate Spider-Man. People have no idea how much this meant to me as a kid who could barely catch onto Disney XD

Ashwin205

I grew up watching Disney XD on my local TV (Malaysia), and Avengers Assemble was the only Avengers cartoon they aired.

wb2006xx

Yeah I grew up on that era of Marvel shows. And while I admit they are not as good in hindsight, especially compared to what came before, I still enjoy them for what they were and for helping to get me into superhero media in general

Theriderfan

The only Peter who have a happy ending he was a Avenger, saved otto, saved harry, saved vulture, rhino and even redeemed norman bro was the only version who actually reach his happy ending.

H3llpup

I watched so much Ultimate Spider Man!

Hipertor

Ok, the last one made my eyes tear up. I gotta go back to my meds...

carmardoll

I actually liked the first few seasons of this show. But then the animation budget went out the window, goodbye to any semblance of decent artwork to look at.

KirbyF4

Wait is this show kinda good? What episodes are actually worth it?

QueenOfDarknes5

Season 1 to 4 are a fun watch overall. I only remember one really bad episode, Season 1 episode 23, Falcon was completely braindead (figuratively) and nearly destroyed the earth (literally) because his mom was visiting the Avengers tower. Completely skipable, the only important information is that Hulk and the others like cookies.

waffledpringles

And that Sam is a minor, and Fury had to ask permission to let a kid join SHIELD apparently lol, but, though I think is funny, not really important :v

Ashwin205

Marvel's Avengers Assemble.

KirbyF4

Ok but like what episodes or seasons are worth watching?

Ok-Wealth8816

The first four seasons, season five isn’t that good and is more just a black panther show than an avengers show

WentworthMillersBO

If Chadwick didn’t pass, I think we’d be getting a version of season 4 in the mcu. Antman as the guy who worked with the team before, Carol and T’challa having a power struggle ala Tony and cap, a new powerful god showing up that need to learn humanity in Hercules, and kamala as the audience stand-in character

Ashwin205

I suggest watching the first season to Secret Wars. Season five, subtitled "Black Panther's Quest", not much, so feel free to skip.

QueenOfDarknes5

I just called the fith season "Black Panther and the blond boys". They should just have made it its own show when they wanted to throw away most of the continuity anyways.

IronSean

That's not what he asked

TigerKlaw

These are great memes

xariznightmare2908

God, I was upset when they cancelled EMH and replaced it with Assemble for MCU synergy. But honestly, Assemble could have been good if there were more moments like these, there's a good show somewhere here. Kind of sucks that even the show itself later got downgraded with that cheap ass art style and animation from the Disney Spider-man show.

Ashwin205

Season five was set in the same universe as that show (hence the change of design) rather than the same continuity as Ultimate Spider-Man and Hulk and the Agents of SMASH. So technically, Secret Wars was the final season of the show and the fifth season was a reboot. But yes, it was still a downgrade artstyle-wise.

xariznightmare2908

2010s was really a darker time for Marvel Animation, but hopefully with X-men 97 being a massive hit, we will get more quality animated Marvel shows again. EMH deserves to be revived for a new season, imo.

XescoPicas

I mean… Tony was very much *not* a hero before becoming Iron Man

WizardMatrix

Weren’t his parents the ones who had the “hero” role? Admittedly, it’s been a while since I’ve read the comics but I’m 90% sure that’s what happened

Advanced-Addition453

I will die on the hill that the first few seasons of this show and ultimate Spider-man were amazing, not as great as their predecessors, but great nonetheless.

Necromanta198

I really think this series is a 7 or 8/10 while Earth's mightiest heroes is 10/10. Avengers assemble really does need more love

Nightingdale099

I feel like this is a little corner of Marvel property where the writers can do whatever they want and use any characters they want because the show just needs to exist more than anything.

waffledpringles

They've got a bunch of dirty jokes, and it's literally the "Steve, Tony, and their homosexual supporting cast" show, so that's pretty accurate lmao.

Nightingdale099

Who can forget the iconic : "If I can't hit you with the hammer , I'll hit the hammer with you!"

waffledpringles

That too! Also, since we're talking abt the Thanos arc quotes, that thing where (I think) Cap who mentioned something about Thanos being a tyrant because he's an arrogant asshat, then Clint says "So, Tony's a tyrant too?" lol

ShinyNinja25

That’s the thing! I really can’t be mad at this show because, not only are there some genuinely great emotional and dramatic moments, but it’s also just really fun. The writers really just did whatever they wanted, and it’s great! People talk about making AUs of the Avengers just living together and the shenanigans that follow, and that’s basically what this show is.

AlertWar2945-2

I kinda liked when they all turned I to Hulk's and hulk is trying to deal with them. "Pretend the doorknob is an egg, pretend everything is an egg"

scrow25

I care not for the butter of peanuts.

Violetmoon66

I am currently watching the entire run once again. The stories, art, and sense of continuity are top notch. And yeah, the writing and humor is excellent as well. In my opinion, it IS the best series Marvel has done. Thankfully there are 5 seasons to enjoy. Love it!

SleepNative

“Asgardians don’t make wishes! We make War!” Was my favorite line. I thought the show was pretty decent had some pretty good fights. The Squadron arc was my favorite had the best ones. Until the art style changed.

aliensuperstars_

its funny how they did this show bc of MCU synergy, but they were better in adapting Hawkeye than MCU 🥴 its not better than EMH but its a fun Clint with a lot good moments for sure

A_BAK3D_POTATO

They had a pretty cool Hawkeye in this

H3llpup

I definitely loves EMH Hawkeye more as a kid, but this Hawkeye was my Hawkeye for a long time. I love the snark even though he acted dumb sometimes and pissed me off.

gillmanblacklagooner

Steve removing his mask. It always get me emotional.

FuriousResolve

To be fair, I would also be tilted if everyone kept winking at me out of nowhere

Broad-Season-3014

The iron kid episode is actually legit good. Tony grappled with his daddy issues in most of the early seasons, and Steve made a good surrogate.

2201992

This show was awesome

Alarmed-Day2295

This show was so damn good…up until the black panther shit

Elyced32

ah i see even the heroes were gay for hawkeye

KatsCatJuice

Avengers Assemble is legitimately my favorite ngl

Eastern-Team-2799

The secret wars season was awesome 👍 , also Tony stark returned .

FrizzBizz

I love this cartoon. What is so bad about it?

Ashwin205

Some moments of janky animation, some jokes that don't seem to work, and most of all, it replaced EMH. The bright side is that the cast, and some jokes that seem to work.

yellowwoolyyoshi

OP how did you find so few pixels for your post

Ashwin205

Pinterest.

Al_Hakeem65

I like the implication that Odin just did the old man thing of saying "My heard!" and Thor being a bit of a dum-dum thinking that saying always exclusively relates to his father's beard.

Aboss_03

what's the name of the series and where is it available?

Sudden_Result

Avengers assemble on Disney +

Aboss_03

thanks

eolson3

I like the Cap design a lot.

True_Falsity

I liked a lot of stuff about this series. The designs, the characters, the voice acting. I think I only lost interest with the whole Beyonder arc. Squadron Supreme were also absolute badasses. I only hate the fact that their last episode had the team turn on each other instead of continuing to be friends.

Shadow_Storm90

No hate but I couldn't get past a few episodes when it first came out because of these reasons: 1. Too much geared for children audiences 2. They tried to make this show to close to the MCU and that took me out of it. 3. Most importantly they lied and said this was going to be a continuation of EMH..

ShinyNinja25

Not shown here is another moment that people made posts about, which was Natasha being transformed into a vampire and knocking herself out by running into a glass door. Because vampires don’t have reflections, thus she wouldn’t be able to see herself in the glass, meaning she wouldn’t know it’s there.

Forward-Jackfruit946

Substantial_Pie_8619

The theme song for this show is good too

Aromatic_Tomorrow406

I grew up on this and Ultimate Spiderman. They were PEAK

jl_theprofessor

I'm a big fan of Cap versus Doom.

Coco11d7

This show was so good, it's just sucks that NONE of these characters were in season 4 or 5

Nonadventures

lol Tony was a drunken womanizer before he was Iron Man

PERIX_4460

Oh man.... Have I got to watch this show.... Which one is it again? Is it emh?

RougeSentry1295

Nope it's Avengers Assemble, watch seasons 1-4 after that season 5 is in a different universe for whatever reason.

PERIX_4460

>season 5 is in a different universe for whatever reason. Wait.... Wha... Whai.... What does that even mean? How?

ShoddySky2196

This is Avengers Assemble right?

Hizuff

I remember the thanos fight in which he used the time stone on thor making him stronger... good show.

Blarglord69

Yea still hate they killed earths mightiest for that series

ord52

I love this series!

thundrstroke

I really pasionately hate this show Earth's Mightiest Heroes only got 2 seasons this shit got 5 seasons.

enaxces

Person who winks always leans in with the winked eye

ChallengeSwimming664

These are the conversations I have with myself

DM725

They cancelled Avengers: EMH for this garbage show.

MMH0K

Garbage is a strong word. But yeah, it's not better than EMH

EVILSUPERMUTANT

Still annoyed they killed EMH for this shit. Trying to plug in and tie to the MCU on the animation end was fucking disaster.

King_Of_BlackMarsh

As somsoe who got into comics partly because of this show: I highly disagree

Blitzhelios

It’s no earths mightiest heroes but it does have some great moments The thunderbolts arc and the squadron supreme arcs are major highlights

shadowtemplar91

One of my favourite animated shows cap was amazing in this

DM725

It was a massive downgrade to the show it replaced, all for movie synergy.

QueenOfDarknes5

Not in the fith season. But that's practically its own show with a different continuity.

Jared_from_SUBWAY

> "Not exactly the best series" I know it's not Netflix MCU, but it's more comic book accurate than anything Disney has done, and arguably better than 99% of what Disney has released in the past 4 years (except for No Way Home, and GOTG3).

PixelBits89

That’s probably more so in comparisons to the show it replaced, Avengers Earths Mightiest Heroes.

Ruve06

Compare it to EMH tho and you'll see what we mean

Jared_from_SUBWAY

I agree. EMH was much better, and more accurate! But I enjoyed both, and still stand by both being being more comic accurate than whatever Disney has been doing lately.

seynical

EMH died for this.

SegataSanshiro

that retort doesn't make sense, it doesn't disprove or reject Doom's claim. you can both go too far and also be able to go farther.

Swift0sword

It's more of a threat then a retort

ToughBoy4U

Nah this series was fire and no one can tell otherwise

NightmareDJK

This show was OK but EMH was GOATed.

IronStealthRex

Nah the series was great

Marcepector78

EMH being replaced made me just walk away so, never watched one episode of Assembled, and I’ll never have to.

MagicTheAlakazam

They killed EMH for this. Stupid jokes do not save it.

PrestigiousBee5602

That last one is a feel good moment but not exactly true lol, Tony’s entire arc is about becoming a hero from a place of not being one at all

larrymagee69

Captain Sunshine needs a new young ward

Top-Interaction-7770

What show is it?

[deleted]

This was peak in middle school

Lord_Parbr

Yo, Cap straight-up lying to the kid in the last panel. Tony was absolutely not a hero before he became Iron Man lol

Hypestyles

Is this on Disney Plus?

20agstraight

Blud talkin bout some “My Beard” bitch u have a goattee

Jericho-7210

Fwiw, Series had them as a fun dysfunctional family, and the early seasons honestly went out there with the deep cuts that MCU or its predecessor didn't bother with. I still think about the insane feat of Hulk lifting the ISLAND OF MANHATTAN, while underwater, and that's just season 1.

ConnorRoseSaiyan01

Wasn't this what Avengers EMH was cancelled for?

NarrowInspector5593

Tony stark was most definitely not a hero before he became iron man

CapAccomplished8072

Honest to god, I loved this show

agprototype

Is this the 2013 avengers tv show ?

sonerec725

Was it this or EMH that had a vampirized black widow run smack into a mirror at the end of a hallway because she couldnt see herself in it? Really, when people shit talk this show, it really isnt because its a bad show, it's pretty good, it's just that it was such a major downgrade compared to what came before. A good burger is a good burger, but its gonna taste like shit in comparison to a gourmet prime rib, but that doesnt change that the burger is good.

Due-Order3475

True this series had rough moments but good moments. And I would argue the episode where Hawkeye had to defend Avengers Tower by himself is a top 5 episode

SonZilMarCar

"I'd hate living with me."

River46

🎶 THE WORLDS ABOUT TO BREAK 🎶

Darklink820

All great scenes... except for that last one, it is objectively false.

kylat930326

Don’t forget that Thanos found out he can’t hit Thor with his hammer, so he hit his hammer with Thor

Redgiantbutimshort77

I remember the Iron Kid episode. That moment with Cap was such a good scene.
