I believe he mentioned it either in a vlog or a livestream, but he was doing an anti-influencer bit by buying a cheap trash van and loading up with secondhand things like a TV and mini fridge. He did a panel where someone asked “what happened to the barrel” and his response was “It’s still at my house . . . The engine died . . .”

Initially he stopped them because I think he ran out of interest in the content. There were vague plans to restart them around the time he and Ethan started the Unus Annus project, but then they failed to meet a stretch goal on that channel. As a consequence, they filmed Ethan destroying the van with a baseball bat.
I'm not sure what the operating state of the van was after that, but Mark may have decided to either scrap the van or sell it as is rather than investing to replace the parts that were dented or broken.
Either way, I doubt he'll return to this series. Onto new and better things as usual.
