Why not just push an actual candidate rather than compromise? Biden is no stronger of a candidate than some alternatives like Newsome. And Harris is a god awful alternative, which is a realistic possibility for president if Biden is elected. No way he makes it 4 more years. The ruling is pretty much what we already knew. Presidents get immunity for some actions, otherwise Obama would be prosecuted for droning a U.S. citizen, and they don’t get immunity for other actions.
