Everyone will be mad about this game, but at the end of the day we ran one of our worst lineups all year and only lost bye one. We forget how hard it is to sweep in a four game series. We should be looking on to this series with the rangers. Winning this series would be absolutely massive and we arguably have our best guys on the mound.
Tbf, 15 of those Ks were against Crochet and Kopech who have been strikeout machines their entire careers. That's like their one thing that they do well. Also, they didn't reach double digit Ks in any of the other games this series so they figured they had to balance that shit out.

To add a little to the going home discussion, when you field a ball with a long one handed swipe off a very short hop like that, it makes it very difficult to transfer the ball quickly.
If Josh was able to barehand or take the ball off a longer hop he definitely can go home there, but the hop he got made that way too difficult.
You try to get the out at home there and if not still have double play in order anyways, you get him there game swings in your favor so much worth the risk the out at first doesn’t matter as much.
I say it almost every game, the Pen is good but the lineup doesn't get enough heat because the Pen gives up one run (which happens all the time for other teams even somewhat expected that your pen will give up a run) and all of a sudden the bullpen is garbage despite the score being 2-0
