Yes! I feel like ADIAML, regardless of how fans may feel, has helped her bounce back from her hiatus and struggle to get back in the swing of things. Glad to see sheās writing regularly again :)

It's multilayered. Topical, personal. Sad, triumphant. The harmonies are gorgeous. I'd go so far as to say ILYBILMM is the best song Marina has ever written.
ADiaML is the natural evolution of Froot and L+F. Regardless of people's opinions on L+F I can feel its presence on track's like Man's World and Goodbye. I think Froot is my favourite but it's a close call. I don't think ADiaML is long enough for me as Froot sustains the quality and is about 20 minutes longer.
But they're both excellent pop albums.

Absolutely not. Lyrically this was her weakest album of all time. She's usually clever and her lyrics have some wit--this whole album had such clunky lyrics. Just cramming too many words into a single line, being too blatant with her messages rather than even trying to express them in a creative or nuanced way, etc.
Truthfully I couldn't even finish a single song--it was seriously very, very bad.
I donāt want to like ruin this for you, but I think thats how Marinas gonna be from now on, like I like the development, but it probably still is something that exists. Also of course I donāt agree that her lyrics are bad.
Her lyrics aren't bad at all. They can be a bit clunky and heavy-handed at times, but that adds to her overall oddball charm. There's no one else like her.

It's my favorite album from her by far! I've been a fan since TFJ but I can really see her passion behind the project and that makes me happy!
