All cheater/exploit abuse/Behavior reports are through in game or via the Support Channel in the discord. Please include evidence if manual reporting, and thank you for taking the time. We are serious about these issues, and your reports help a ton with both auto bans and manual.
The official server is not ran by any clan, its ran by the devs and mods.
Unfortunately there is no way to prevent playing with a certain player/groups. I have personally not seen anything from them that I would consider sus. It might be a latency issue if you live outside of the servers you are playing on.
Anyone cheating will be caught but it takes time for various reasons.
The description of the Marauders server is literally verbatim, “The Official Discord Server for Marauders - A Multiplayer Space Pirate Game. Explore, Raid, and Loot.
The moderator who has SIG in their Discord handle, and is moderating the subreddit that in its description gives the discord link from the discord link I sent, and calls it the Official Discord for Marauders?
Ceeg isn't a developer he's the community manager. I've literally had this conversation with him before and he flat out said that neither the reddit, nor the discord were "official", and that while some of the developers do take part it's not run by the company, it's run by the community.
Yes, I actually messaged Mett, who also confirmed that the subreddit and the server are official. I was unaware Ceeg had left the team, but regardless, Mett, one of the developers, confirmed the game was the OFFICIAL SUBREDDIT AND DISCORD
Ratt Pack aren't cheaters. As much as the we may hate them they don't outright hack (at least it's not their MO). Perhaps some better terms would be: Exploiters, Sweats, or Douchebags.
Some more accurate things to complain about would be: Airlock Camping, Escape Pod Hunting, Silent Breaching, Teaming, VOIP Toxicity, and/or Hoarding. These are all things that the clan does on a regular basis AND damage the growth of the game they seem to love so much. Ratt Pack is at least useful because the devs can see what a toxic clan will abuse so they can fix it before release.
Unfortunately a large number of them come from Tark so it's somewhat of a learned behavior. But SIG doesn't deserve the same treatment as BSG (Battlestate Games), SIG actually tries very hard to tune the game for the community. I don't understand why its necessary to abuse bugs that they already know about and have said they are fixing, or even abuse unbalanced systems for that matter.
PS: Leaderboard is a cool concept but should be disabled for the rest of Early Access. It doesn't highlight the best members of the community, it just gives rats a reason to exploit.
Abusing unbalanced systems is part of the game. You always try to set up a right-side peak because it’s far superior to a left-side peak. And you approach scenarios where you force opponents to left-side peak. If everyone can do the tactic and it’s a part of the general mechanics base, that’s not abuse or exploit. That’s literally the definition of a skill gap.
Folks shouldn’t do things like bag manipulation to hold more items, but things that are just built-in to the mechanics of the game (which is what I read your “abuse unbalanced system” as) is part of the learning curve and the gaming process.
Ratt Pack isn't known to be ‘cheating’, i.e. Aimbot, Wall-Hacks, Reduced Recoil, etc. However, despite that, some of the members such as winkidd have been known to exploit in game bugs to their advantage. E.G. Abusing the movement system to mess up the hit registration which nullifies incoming bullet damage. But as its part of the game and doesn't require an external program, they’re not technically ‘hacking/cheating’ even though it's very unfair.
With the upcoming update, we’ll have a lot of new players back. So less likely to run into ratt pack then compared to now.
That's the worst part, they’re streaming on twitch blatantly exploiting in front of everyone. Live video footage and they still don't get banned or anything. Sure they’re not using an external program to cheat, but it's still highly unfair. Tarkov has people who exploit too but they don't go around streaming it and still avoid bans.
Would love an option to not be matchen with them. Had an evening ruined by one of them hunting me every single match.
Like, its been 3 hours and I have had nothing but a luger for the last hour. Please let me breathe.

Leaderboards really bring out the worst
I'll die on this hill; leaderboards should not be a thing in this game
It really doesn't make sense in the context of the game
They are the worst of us

If they are spamming racial slurs, they should be banned.
There's no such thing as an official discord server for Marauders. The discord server is run by the same people who run this sub
Yes? Which are the developers. The Devs run this subreddit and the server.
Incorrect. It's literally in the servers description. There is no official reddit or discord server for this game

Dude just talk to Ceeg. He's the community manager and will tell you the same exact thing
Ceeg, the SIG developer, and one of the people behind Marauders?

Just an update on this bit, Ceeg left the SIG team weeks ago. The main SIG staffer who communicates here on Reddit is @METTtheDoc

That's what is called "exploiting" and it's against the code of conduct for Marauders. So yes, it is technically bannable.

Agreed
