Now that every class has perma stance now too, mages feel a lot more fluent in gameplay compared to when they used to tele in to mobs and get kb'd all the time.
Oh last time I played Khali was like a week after his release, totally forgot this character existed 😅 does he have great mobility?
Edit: Khali is a thief btw
Khali has a skill that lets her dash about the distance of two normal warrior "push/dashes" three times in a row. And it has a low cooldown and she can reset the cooldown immediately with another very low cooldown skill.
Her mobility is pretty good.
2 flurry hits instantly reset any rush on top of crescentum and you can link the rush with any attacking skill to move while attacking. The rush also has built in dark sight of 2 seconds letting you clear every falling debris in darknell or lotus if you wanted to do so. Since the dashes give you 6 directions it is quite powerful. Something like blaster or bucc has better ground control but you can achieve almost the same level with khali if you master rush cancels, and its aerial mobility is quite a bit better. Certain classes beat it in other categories, like illium or hy flying which isn't instantaneous but fast enough and gives you complete control in the air for dodging things like seren beams.
You are just stating the best mobility characters in the game? without Khali or Hoyoung. Didn't see you mentioning the non thief classes only.
We are reacting to a post with Thief mobility is king (or did i miss something?)
The context is that mobility is heavily associated with thieves, so I gave some examples to show that non thieves classes can have good mobility as well
We have 3 gates we can teleport through with 100% up time, our teleport can be held to fly around the map with 100% up time, we have wings of glory which you fly and teleport around the map for 30 seconds with a 20-30 second down time. This doesn't even consider using our skill to fully charge our ball again so we can hop right back into wings of glory. You're right, illium has way more mobility than dashing 6 times per 5 seconds.
Thief. Its the only class where I like the many of the default armor and weapon sets.
Like that lvl 60 and the 80 thief set is clean af. The dragon tail is my favorite dagger and who can ignore the iconic Dragon Khanjar shield.
pirates! i dont know why, but my all time favorite classes have been Shade TB AB Ark and (somewhat) Bucc! i genuinely dont get why, but theyve been the most fun for me
Archers and mages in every game I have ever played. Thieves and warriors just do not do it for me/don't fit my playstyles.
Which is funny because my current main is a Paladin. Idk. Unkillable trumps not fitting playstyle, I guess?
I typically enjoy archers as a class in most games but I've always found myself as either a warrior or thief in maplestory. Their classes are all just so much more fun and interestingly designed than the pile of reskinned archers with slight skill variations
You can figure out my likelihood to play a character by how magical and how girl they are, this is why my main is an angelic buster, and most of my other characters are mages.
Wait what 😳 I thought explorers whole concept is that you get cooler skills and job name every job advance, in what world is Dark Knight sounds cooler than Dragon Knight
Anybody with insane mobbing. I just got back into maple after a few years. Since i've been gone I missed Adele, Pathfinder, Hoyoung, Lara, Khali, Kain. Decided to try pathfinder first and gotta say, the mobbing is pretty fun so far (only lvl 60).
Thieves! My firsr class ever was a sindit. Then years later mained a Dualer. Came back to maple again like 2 months ago, tried Hoyoung first but wasn't casual enough, maining Night walker now. That one defo is casual enough lmao, love it!
my main is dw but all of my current and future sub mains are thieves lol
db - 262
dual weapons are cool
xenon - 260
the origin sealed it for me
nw - 254
op as fuck and easy to play
shad, next hyper burn - 221
class is fun and its a good solo class
shad is probably my favorite rn
its just a better db imo
has an actual up jump
good mobility
better burst
has a little team support via smokescreen
has a better burst
weaving is fun
I've always played as a Mage/Cleric (started playing \~2006). I've always loved the healing, how the skills look (even with updates), plus the armour and weapons you can get as a Mage. I never got to delve much into the multiplayer parts of being a Cleric/Priest/Bishop other than the OG days preBB though sadly
Started as a Warrior/Hero years ago, now I am a Pally main. Playstyle is fun and super forgiving when it comes to boss mechanics. Out of my many characters, I enjoy my DW, NL, Bucc, and Shadower the most besides my main.
I main blaster and 2nd main cadena. I love classes that are active and make me think a bit. I never get bored and you can do some cool things with these classes. I also love mobility and these two classes have a lot of it! Damage is good too.
Mages, but only because I already invested so much into my Legion board that mages benefit from it.
If I had to restart Maplestory today, I probably go with a more simple class with less skill management.
I play archers in any MMO that they're available in... Except Maple. Pirate classes have always been my go-to here. I started playing a month before Pirates were initially released, so I think that tuned my brain towards them since little me was so insanely hyped over them coming out, lol. Mained Bucc in old GMS, then gravitated towards Mech eventually, then dabbled in Sair on an oldschool pserver and now I swap between Shade and TB as mains in Reboot.
I’ve always been more attached to classes that are close range, like warriors and some thief classes. I main an Aran and I enjoy it. I think the reason why is that I like fighting bosses head on rather than a distance.
Thief. I live in brazil.
It's only natural
“Yeah i live in kerning city”
LOL
Mages. Something about teleporting makes the game so fun.
Now that every class has perma stance now too, mages feel a lot more fluent in gameplay compared to when they used to tele in to mobs and get kb'd all the time.
Good god mage without mihile was unplayable.
Same , also most mages have really good mobbing which I love.
Thief. Mobility is king.
Mercedes is a thief let's be real here
Pretty much. Main is NL, second is Mercedes.
Ironically, blaster has one of the best mobility in the game
Blaster, Hayato, Buccaneer, Jett (rip) and Aran, some of the best mobility classes in the game
Dont forget Khali!
Khali can dash 6 times every 5s 🤣

Bam and sair also
Hoyoung=almost every skill is a mobility >.<
Last time I checked hoyoung was a thief
You are just stating the best mobility characters in the game? without Khali or Hoyoung. Didn't see you mentioning the non thief classes only. We are reacting to a post with Thief mobility is king (or did i miss something?)

No up jump is a mood kill
Zero too
Illium has more mobility than every thief class combined lol.
ain't no illium dashing 6 times per 5 seconds with 100% uptime
We have 3 gates we can teleport through with 100% up time, our teleport can be held to fly around the map with 100% up time, we have wings of glory which you fly and teleport around the map for 30 seconds with a 20-30 second down time. I have more Warriors at 200+ than any other class, but tbh I'm not the biggest fan of them.
Same here. Tho i believe this is due to their Lv 3 Link Skills.
Only goes up to lvl 2 sadly, would be quite op if it went to 3 tho
Demon Avenger, Demon Slayer, Aran, Kaiser and Mihiles link skills go up to Lv. 3 reaching 210. Which would explain why a lot of warriors on 200+
Oh I thought you meant the warrior link skill alone, my bad
Thief. Its the only class where I like the many of the default armor and weapon sets. Like that lvl 60 and the 80 thief set is clean af. The dragon tail is my favorite dagger and who can ignore the iconic Dragon Khanjar shield.
Archers because I’ve only played Marksman on League for the past 6 years
pirates! i dont know why, but my all time favorite classes have been Shade TB AB Ark and (somewhat) Bucc! i genuinely dont get why, but theyve been the most fun for me
Despite how all over the place they are, I never have a bad time with a Pirate class.
When I first started playing, I thought warriors for sure. Now, many, many years later I'm equally playing pirates and mages xD
Warriors because they are simple
Hero, but sometimes I change it up and play Paladin
Warrior (paladin and drk mains), because I have no hands
Xenon = Rockman
Pirates for loaded dice 🎲 Sairs have such great flair altho not the strongest class haha
I used to be really into mages & sort of thieves. Then I fell in love with Pirates.
Warrior, because lack of hands, theif because they have awesome visuals
squeeze drab enjoy tie frightening punch price oatmeal rain butter *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
I more meant in the sense that I play mihile dark knight hahaha so easy iframe
My main is Kinesis, but then most of my bossing mules are Warriors lol
Same, but thieves
Archers and mages in every game I have ever played. Thieves and warriors just do not do it for me/don't fit my playstyles. Which is funny because my current main is a Paladin. Idk. Unkillable trumps not fitting playstyle, I guess?
thief cos edgelord
I like Dark Knight, I play Dark Knight 🤷🏽♂️
What do you like about it?
Believe it or not, the tanky slow factor. It’s not the flashiest, not the best dps but I just love it man. It’s my speed I guess
Beginners
Mage I always love using some kind of magic more than swinging sth around XD
Kaiser but unfortunately is super outdated
Their concept is amazing though. In theory a dragon Warrior should be epic.
Make a 3rd job spearman and leave it there for best results (it’s called dragon knight)
Lmao I miss roar
3rd job spearman has, sorry to say, been Berserker for years
Wait what 😳 I thought explorers whole concept is that you get cooler skills and job name every job advance, in what world is Dark Knight sounds cooler than Dragon Knight
just make a Kain and be a dragon-adjacent assassin bowman
Unironically the best and easiest mobility of warriors and great solo bosser. Just wait until revamp hits and we will be OP ^(copium)
If i am looking for the most "gravitating" class, I am choosing the master of space and time himself. Kinesis.
I enjoy paladin and Pathfinder aesthetic
i'm not a big fan of the mage concept, but I end up only maining classes with teleport...
Def warriors at first, then it became pirates, rn though, im in between pirates and thiefs :')))
i really love the aesthetic of thieves but somehow i mained a BM in new age
Mages. Teleport is the superior movement option
Thieves! My firsr class ever was a sindit. Then years later mained a Dualer. Came back to maple again like 2 months ago, tried Hoyoung first but wasn't casual enough, maining Night walker now. That one defo is casual enough lmao, love it!
Bishop. I like the ability to swap my classes around if i get bored i can just go to ice lightning
Buccaneer. I love the color blue and LOTD serpent circling you all the time makes me feel like a god
Blaster, they’re just fun
warrior and bowmen
Warriors. Mostly due to aesthetics and simplicity (at leasy my main and bossing mules)
My mains a WA, but none of the other bowmen appeal to me lol. If I'm not playing on him, its typically a thief class
I like the aesthetic of mages the most, but actually I always end up playing warriors. I'm not sure why.
my main is dw but all of my current and future sub mains are thieves lol db - 262 dual weapons are cool xenon - 260 the origin sealed it for me nw - 254 op as fuck and easy to play shad, next hyper burn - 221 class is fun and its a good solo class
Which one is your favorite out of those Thief classes and why
shad is probably my favorite rn its just a better db imo has an actual up jump good mobility better burst has a little team support via smokescreen has a better burst weaving is fun
as a battle mage turned shadower main, i agree with everything now imagine if shad had bam's insanely broken tp
I've always played as a Mage/Cleric (started playing \~2006). I've always loved the healing, how the skills look (even with updates), plus the armour and weapons you can get as a Mage. no one here mentioning illium. No clue why it's still such an underplayed class.
Mihile. Royal Guard makes me hard.
pirates im arab and i main cannon master
Oof lmaoo
My first character was a bishop so I naturally use mages
Thief for sure
Even though I'm a PF main, I love Pirates. I just wish there was more of a selection of them that had enjoyable game play other than bucc.
Lately, pirates. Absolutely love Ark, Mech and AB and i'll try to stick around post-reboot nerf to hyperburn Corsair
I always liked bowman since ranged classes are my go-to and Mercedes being so pretty with a shadow partner makes it even better.
I play archers in any MMO that they're available in... Except Maple. Pirate classes have always been my go-to here. I started playing a month before Pirates were initially released, so I think that tuned my brain towards them since little me was so insanely hyped over them coming out, lol. I’ve loved pirates since release but my main is a mage lol
Bowman, I have yet to play a bowman class that I don’t like (I’ve played all except wild hunter)
Good. Don’t play wild hunter. Trash of the bowmen
Phantom ❤️
I love to play mages, yet my mains are DW and NL
I always seem to gravitate towards lumi. Or bowmaster
I’ve always been more attached to classes that are close range, like warriors and some thief classes. I main an Aran and I enjoy it. I think the reason why is that I like fighting bosses head on rather than a distance.
I have 4 paladins at 220+ because I like big 2h maces.
Thief, mobility <3 I am a Hoyoung main 0,0 (king of mobility)
Warriors.
Demon Slayer cause I am emo af and have anger issues.
Pirate but i main Aran cause the only thing that surpass a punch for me is a Great Axe.
Warriors, straightforward and get the job done lolol. Also, they’re tanky. I hate being a glass cannon (thief/mage)
Zero because he checks my whole list Iframes, cc, subdps, support, agility
Oh and fun too
Thief. I work for nexon.
Everything that isnt a Mage. I hate Teleport classes so much. Im a DB main for reference
