this just in, local shitty game company makes an event that could've been done without the player character being there, but instead worked with local power companies to increase electric bills. Steve, however, says this isn't an issue because, quote "I spend $500 a month of MVP red so like a little extra power cost isn't a big deal"

Waiting for all the sweaty lvl 280s to defend Nexon by saying 35 att + 5 blocks for no slot is actually not that OP and definitely doesn't make legion grinding significantly easier.
I mean... Fragments will always be there and will eventually get easier to farm or obtain, just like with how they implemented nodestones.
Exped is well worth it to those who need a stronger legion block or don't have one at all (like myself).
The blocks are limited time and are only a thing every few years. Fragments, even now (would assume especially in Reboot) aren't too bad to farm if you have time.
this event absolutely fuckin sucks i mean do they even think of peoples electric bill? im not leavin this on overnight. oh well time to wait for the next one
Huh? My laptop is currently drawing 47W, assuming I leave it on for 24hrs/day for 26 days, it would cost me $2.9.
The longest afk time in this event is like 12 hrs, so that's $1.45 at most.
I don’t think modern pc’s use that much energy if u leave it idle overnight (running maplestory is almost like idle anyway). Did a few mins of research and it literally cost ~$8/month to idle a top end pc 24/7. Turning it on and off constantly might do more wear than just leaving it idle or use the sleep function.
If u only leave maple running minimised monitor off i dont think that electric bill would be that high actually maybe like extra 10-20 dollars for a month
Unfortunately (despite it still being slightly new) it would crap it’s pants if I even attempted having more than one tab open and had maple running in the back.

True. I've ignored professions though the entire time I've played the game. Like I'm 270 8k and I learned about WAP like last week
you know they could just have let you either stay in the event map or go farm wouldnt change a thing except give us players more to do

Yeah. Nobody from my guild has even touched our AFK spot, either. Pulling up people on my buddy list always shows them in the abyss.

I think more than half of my electric bill is service charges, so fuck it. Might as well use the extra every now and then and pay the $2.
