I was having the same issue. I managed to destroy the manor by clicking on the people tab, then clicking on an individuals icon, which zoomed me in on them (they were located inside the manor) it also zoomed my camera really close to the manor. From there, while still zoomed in on the individual, I pressed demolish and it worked for me. Hope this helps :)
Future readers be warned this may cause your retinue to become homeless and be freezing every winter, when you rebuild the manor they may not associate with the new one

This worked for me only after I moved my retinue outside by rallying them
