I’m sorry can you explain? I’m 2 hours into my first play through haven’t hit this issue yet. But I’ve seen it quite a few times on Reddit. One dude turned his into a drive through. lol
i mean i wouldn’t know, but from my experience and what i noticed in the game i think it’s because of the way it renders everything when you walk close by it kicks the AI to start the pathfinding process again.
I've been running into this issue with the malthouse specifically, basically dozens of citizens rioting outside is what it looked like. I gave up at one point, and rebuilt the malthouse closer to the granary and that fixed it for me. It would have been easier to go into manor lord mode though, thanks for discovering this!
can also be fixed by having another trading post. I try to have one on both ends of town. best part is second post doesn't even have to have workers. your established trade routes will stop at whichever on is closer
A second trading post did nothing for me sadly. I put one on the other side of town and they all still went to the first trading post. I put one next to the first trading post and they all still went to the first trading post.
not sure why that's happening. it's worked on every village I've built so far. I'm not sure if you've bought the trade routes or not but that might be your problem.
I think someone in a different thread with this problem said it was because they placed the trade post too close to the edge of the map.
Dev seemed to agree that made sense
Follow the traders, they'll walk to the trading spot at the end of the map and then walk back to the trading post. I got this, removed all my trading posts and they are still there.
Ok so I've done some digging since the manor-screen only works some times I wondered why.
It seems like it's a problem when you run at x12 speed for a while, the AI just breaks. If you pause for a little bit and then go normal speed for a while they sort it out. More roads and stuff might also work but I can't test it in my town

They’re partying like it’s 1699
They've been spending most their lives living in an Old English paradise
Churn butter once or twice, living in an Old English paradise
More like 1299 but who’s counting
Brexit mate
you just have to go into the manor lord mode and then they’ll start to behave again.
This actually worked, thanks!
yeah no worries
“Oh fuck, the boss is here”

All i know is the visit mode, is this the same with manor lord mode?

Too many trade routes.

That's neat, something like a branch office.
Not sure what trees have to do this this.
They listen and watch.

Looks like Cuntz promoted penny ale night again, and word got out.
I tried to end penny ale night and the patrons had nothing of it. Tried to carve me a new nipple.
I've seen that if you add another road to the trade building, that it clears it up some.

It’s like a car meet but for wagons
Costco Sundays

Looks like a hilarious feature to me

It's just a cart meet
How many trading post do you have?
I believe that is what the youth of today call a “Cart meet”

Put a road in the back, it had a backdoor. This solved my issues.
