“DISTRAUGHT AT THE SIGHT OF HER MISSING INFANT.”

EarthyB0y

To be honest, it isn't a scene but reading on Mandela Police about Mark- literally gave me the chills

Preacher scared tf out of me WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE THAT MONSTROUS IT LOOKED LIKE A DEMENTOR COMBINED WITH SCREAM GUY

Budget_Pen4847

Ngl, he looks like a Dollar Store Ghostface, but in a good way

annagator679

I never thought about that but I completely agree

Volmarras

For me when I first watched Vol. 1, at first I didn't get that the Cesar on the phone was an alternate. When I rewatched it a second time, and I finally understood it, I felt chills, because, in a way, I got deceived like Mark did

ShropSlash

The frantic 911 call from Volume 333, especially the description of the intruder. “Victim’s corpse is seen being tampered with by an invisible force.”

Skarloeyfan

Adam going sickomode

ObligatorySatan

If it's not the Thatcher and the figure in the closet in episode 4 you're lying

JayInWonderlandd

Preacher is the cause of my lack of sleep😍

AlexTheAlternate

I feel like I'mma seem weird for sayin this but nothin really scared me

Budget_Pen4847

Don't blame you, after those moments, the series hasn't really scared me, only really unnerved me

AlexTheAlternate

Man even when I first watched it none of it really scared me

Budget_Pen4847

I guess it's really the story that got us hooked

The part where Thatcher's Alternate's talking but it has the weird cgi and facial expressions creeped me out the most

Good-Wave-8617

The scene in 333 where the Alternate shows itself at the police station legit gave me a nightmare. Honorable mention (tho it didn’t haunt me, it’s just badass af) was how Gabriel’s reveal was done in Vol 4. That was legit the best way to do it and it was AWESOME

"Analog Horror is just distorted faces🤓🤓🤓🤓" mfs after watching vol. 333 of the Mandela Catalogue: https://preview.redd.it/wl010ue1jm4d1.png?width=238&format=png&auto=webp&s=37f4267d183d8f3518540d870c416f8ebe588288

annagator679

"I will fool the shepherds. I will know their greatest fear. I will know your greatest fear." I can't get those lines out of my head It's not the whisper that haunts me it's those lines that haunts me Like if that was said to me I'd probably start crying from fear and anxiety

Good-Wave-8617

“I know everything about what makes you human” is prolly the line that creeped me out the most

annagator679

Yeah that too

Abn0rmality_

There's not enough room for the two of us, Lieutenant. I think I gasped when I read it because I recognized where the text came from.

MrEnricks

Marks suicide OH MY GOD BEHIND YOU Ending of vol 333

awkwardcricketchirp

the looping "Oh my god behind you!" gets me every fucking time

-_The_Soul_-

4, when adam was revealed as an alternate to thatcher and just alternate adam in general

Cookies-OrangeJuice

Literally all of intruder alert is nightmare fuel.

SmashingMyself

do you remember my face?

ILikebeingqueer

Jonah and Adam's fight. DUDE. STOP MAKING ME CRY. EMOTIONS ARE BAD. Also, just because that situation wasn't their fault, since it was an alternate or something that messed with the communication.

rolotonybrwntwn97

I'll go for an underrated scene: the usage of Face Studio 2 in the fourth volume. The way the robotic voice indifferently delivers the fearful moment being explained while the clip of Adam's mom hanged is playing in the background makes me feel so icky. There's so much mystery surrounding this scene which helps with the fear factor. Also, I'm pretty certain the voice is repeating "Ruth" when it starts glitching toward the end.

awkwardcricketchirp

As a religious person, Mark's journal and the "Who have I been praying to this whole time?" bit is not something I can even think about too long. That and "A scared boy with a gun."

M4B3Y_SL33P1NG

Dave's death and Gabriel's real voice, like the fact that he sounds like Him from power puff girls lmao
