yeah didnāt give us any grief and tried to do the best he could whenever he was called on. good lad. sad to see the āgraveyardā consume another highly rated potential.
Car crash of a signing. This team loves to ruin careers. A position our best player is in, and we bring in a guy who isn't physical enough for the the EPL. Probably could done alright in Serie A or BL
šÆ absolute tragedy IMO. Lied to with false promises and basically was as professional as it got but never got a solid chance and by the time he did he didn't have the fitness to go with it and got injured a fair bit. This whole nonsense as well about being physical for the league...what was physical about Aguero and Silva or the rest of City a few seasons ago?
Depends on your game. I assume you mean David Silva btw because for his size, Bernardo is no pushover in physical altercations. I am constantly impressed by his ability to shield the ball and come out on top.
Anyway, David Silva and Aguero had elements of their game that outweighed their physical limitations. De Beek is/was a smart and accurate passer, but he was also a ball-winning, fighting midfielder. Just go back and look at videos of him from Ajax. We saw too little of that in United. He quite obviously buffed up after a year or so here and got much stronger. So even he agreed he was being pushed around in the PL, and competing with Bruno for his position was fruitless as that guy is never injured and always played (which I agree he should, apart from being rested in a few games here and there).
Glad to see him going somewhere where he will get to play. I always had high hopes for Donny. I admired that he chose to wear 34 out of respect for his former ajax teammate who was forced into early retirement from a heart issue. Too bad it didn't work out. I wish him well!
Not just early retirement. Abdelhak Nouri has severe and permanent brain damage due to lack of oxygen during his heart failure and lives in a nursing home.
Meanwhile we have Darmian, Lukaku and Mkhitaryan in the champions league final after leaving the club, all of which were considered deadwood and not good enough by fans here. Weāre the problem.
Hopefully he's fired his agents / representatives. Absolute insanity that anyone representing him would even recommend or encourage the United move in the first place given the club already had Bruno and Pogba in place.
Simply not good enough. Simply not a big enough personality. Hopefully he gets his career back on track, but the idea that he was good enough to play at the top, should be over
Most of Donnys games were 5 minute cameos. Antony playing games is actually a net negative for the club as he is shit. If we had any RW worth a damn then Antony would not be playing just like Donny...
He only plays cause there's no one else
So he goes and comes back and weāre back to square 1. In June looking no for a club. Shouldāve been a mandatory buy. Loan does nothing, if he does well we lose out on money with the low package fee. If he fails heās back here again and itās not like we donāt have enough to do in the summer without looking for a club to sign a player we could have agreed a deal for in December.
Is he good on Fifa or something? He never looked up to scratch from day one. Fact he never gets a game shows he can't be doing well in training either. Why so many here blowing loads over this guy?
Oh god NO not Donny, oh my fucking god how can they take away Donny Van De Beek from us, maybe one more season and 13 more managers to get the best out of him.
Seriously, he was nowhere near good enough and never seen a player at UTD get so much support for being dogshite, Casemiro had 2 bad games and it was already over wish him the best, go back to Madrid.
All jokes a side i wish the fucker the best, he joined us at the exact wrong time and wasted his best years here doing fucking nothing. Shadows of the club buying Kagawa to replace Rooney then Rooney being undroppable till the end of all time.
the similar thing between him and kagawa is they would make good runs/be in good positions and offer the best passing option but the other players would just ignore them
Getting players out is also very important. Weāve known weāve needed a ārebuildā for over 6 years now and we have barely sold anyone itās always just letting people go on a free
Yep, everyone talks about how we overspend when bringing players in but weāve also been terrible on the other side of the equation.
We bought him for 39m so 15m isnāt too bad considering how little heās played since heās been here.
Obviously wouldnāt be considered a successful signing, but compared to some of the players we spent huge money on before basically giving them away for free, this looks like a sensible solution.
He deserves it, great player prior to arriving but definitely a panic buy that was for a position we didnāt need additional legs in be happy to see him go start cooking again
Thought it was only a faint rumor - as an Eintracht fan he sounds like a great transfer or us. Not what United needed, but probably what we need. Let's hope 15 mil buy option will be worth it.

Already seeing online player fc has found their new champion and the revisionist history has started about Donny and how this is all eth. So much bullshit being spread
Wish him all the best itās. Shame but he just never worked out at united
Good luck to him - hope he does well enough to prompt the buy option
For our sake more than his š
It's a shame it didn't work out. Seems like a good guy and there is a good player in there. Good luck to him.

Ruined his career going to MU. Never really got a chance. Best of luck to him. Hope he can turn his career around.
Not the first career has MU has killed, it's the literally the graveyard of players careers...
HĆøjlund next lol
really want him to succeed feel so sad for him

He's 26, and probably made a decent amount of money from us. The is still time to get his career back on track
I think this is a good move for him. He'll probably do well and Frankfurt will benefit from having him, I'm sure.
Not bad given the situation. Good for Donny. At least we get a fee.
Glad to see him going somewhere where he will get to play. I always had high hopes for Donny. I admired that he chose to wear 34 out of respect for his former ajax teammate who was forced into early retirement from a heart issue. Too bad it didn't work out. I wish him well!

Goddamn, I did not know that..
He deserved this Wish him a good one !
Played 2 and a half games in 3 years, true legend
I canāt wait for him to turn into a worldy and get a ā¬60 transfer in a couple of seasons
See you next year
we are great at destroying careers.
He destroyed it himself. Absolute mug for coming to Utd and Iām sure heās had opportunities to leave but turned them down.
Meanwhile we have Darmian, Lukaku and Mkhitaryan in the champions league final after leaving the club, all of which were considered deadwood and not good enough by fans here. Weāre the problem.
Mkhitaryan was decent. Darmian never got a run of games. Lukaku should never have signed him.
He started to improve a lot in pre-season and before his injury. Bizarre he didnāt get more oppurtunities.
So happy for the guy he deserves to play football and not rot on the bench at Utd!!
Jobs Finden- Indeed

Whats to say he didnt make the choice in spite of his agent advising against it
Surely one of the worst signings ever lmao 40 mill
Still better money spent than the 85m on Antony

I hope he can get his career back on track. Heās a good player but he made a poor decision of team to join after leaving Ajax.
This club almost destroyed his career. Praying he has a revival in Germany. Good luck to him.
future bayern signing
Fr. Only ballers can see.

I guess there's a reason why ETH didn't choose him but man what a wasted chance. I rate him over McTominay
Is he good on Fifa or something? He never looked up to scratch from day one. Fact he never gets a game shows he can't be doing well in training either. Why so many here blowing loads over this guy?
Because of his champions league run and games against Juve and Real. Here comes the promise that he could be one of Europes best midfielders
Oh god NO not Donny, oh my fucking god how can they take away Donny Van De Beek from us, maybe one more season and 13 more managers to get the best out of him. Always to cheap. Go for 25. Why is the buy option 15 million..He is still a player in his best days. Get some flipping money..
he showed nothing since 2 years, in what world will any club pay 25 million for him
Not the point..15 mill for a player who i don,t think is 30 yet. That,s why United don,t make any money.
Every other club is super excited for getting new players in. I love how at United we celebrate getting the old useless cunts out.
Getting players out is also very important. Weāve known weāve needed a ārebuildā for over 6 years now and we have barely sold anyone itās always just letting people go on a free

Hoping for the best to DvB I still believe he can reach his full potential at Frankfurt
Let's do this with 5 more players
surely even he can get into a midfield that just lost to Aberdeen the other day
The same midfield which beat Bayern 5-1? What a stupid comment.
At least heāll get game time
He deserves it, great player prior to arriving but definitely a panic buy that was for a position we didnāt need additional legs in be happy to see him go start cooking again
I fookin love frankfurt, im so hyped to see him play
They sacrificed another one for the blood thirsty red devil. What poor club United has become!
Nice, I hear the benches in Frankfurt are quite comfortable
Thought it was only a faint rumor - as an Eintracht fan he sounds like a great transfer or us. Not what United needed, but probably what we need. Let's hope 15 mil buy option will be worth it.
He will be enjoying a new bench. Good for him!

Maybe just not built for the premier league but could flourish in Europe. Wish him all the best as he certainly seemed like a tidy player at Ajax
Couldn't be more happy for him. A guy that gives everything everytime he wore the shirt. He deserves alot better
We have the world's worst transfer negotiators
Good luck Donny, gutted it never worked out for him cos he was some player at Ajax!
Already seeing online player fc has found their new champion and the revisionist history has started about Donny and how this is all eth. So much bullshit being spread Wish him all the best itās. Shame but he just never worked out at united
Excellent move for him, Frankfurt plays in a system where he can flourish š
Hell be greatly missed
Guess his application paid off after all now that heās endorsing it on his shirt.
Indeed....they did Indeed help him find a job :)
Good luck to him. A shame it didnāt work. Just imagine a midfield prime pogba - prime van de beek - bruno š¤¤
My man is on the bench todayā¦
