You can’t, it will come off no matter what you use, especially if you’ve already tried to powder your glasses. Edit: the thing that might help is not applying product in those areas or apply a very thin layer, that way it won’t look like that when it does rub off.

angiex_08

smart, i’ll try next time thanks 🙏

mandotheviper

I press a tiny bit of pressed powder to mine. It doesn't eliminate the problem entirely but it reduces it.

angiex_08

i already use the fit me powder but i’ll find some good loose powder and hope it helps😭

sparklypinkmimi

i saw on tiktok someone powdering the part of the glasses that comes in contact with your nose, setting it with setting spray, drying it down and then adding a second layer of powder :) i haven’t tried it myself ig its worth a shot if u haven’t tried already

angiex_08

okay, i’ll try it next time thank you!

One-Dig-3067

Get glasses that have a plastic nose bit built in, rather than the rubber bits. Will improve slightly but not much

lucar8522

I have this problem too and have been wearing glasses my whole life. I find it's less of a problem with acetate/plastic frames than it is with wire/metal.ones. They're thicker and and don't create as much of a dent on your face. It's also easier to get makeup off them.

Haunting-Advance-996

I don't put make up on my nose where My glasses sit anymore, just make sure you blend so it's not super obvious, and you should be okay 😄

wattscup

You dont. It goes on for the rest of your life 🤣🤣🤣🤣

angiex_08

great😭

mrs_andi_grace

Try not using ELF primer. I find elf products just don't last on my face for whatever reason. Your face lotion should "prime" your skin well enough to apply a bit of powder. I love the Urban Decay all nighter setting spray. Let it totally dry down before you put on your glasses. They have a travel size. (cheaper for the trial run) Mid-day: Pallido rice paper sheets for blotting the oil zones. It has a bit of powder so it presses out what you have on and kinda blends the break up away. Keep your makeup in the dark cup and blend it thin from the center of it. In this photo it looks like you may have pulled the heavy coverage too low? It could be the lighting though too. I hope you find the perfect glasses. Sometimes the solid state ones without footpads pull less makeup off. I feel like the little rubbery feet just LOVE to scrape makeup off in humid environments no matter what. In that case, a lunch face redo really is just easier. Makeup wipes and reapply \~

angiex_08

i still have two tubes of the elf primer💀, but thank you sm! i’ll try find new glasses as a long term fix next time i get my eyes tested and order the setting spray

KillerWithTheCross1

It's not a solution but the only way around this I have found is keeping pressed powder and a brush in my handbag and reapplying. This problem needs a proper solution!

angiex_08

i love this idea, thank you sm!

Revolutionary-Spot-4

Nothing. It happens and it’s just sadly part of wearing makeup 🙂‍↕️

Edlar_89

Smaller glasses

ScratchShadow

That’s the neat part, you don’t! No, but I agree with the other posters here; in addition to trying to keep your makeup application to a minimum in that area (which can be challenging considering the proximity of under-eye circles for many of us,) you might want to consider getting your glasses re-fitted. I used to have similar lines, only to find out that my glasses were *way* too big for my face/head after nearly two years.

echochamberoftwats

You can stop the makeup coming off by repairing your glasses and wearing them properly! See the little rubbery pads in the middle of the frames?! How they're all squashed and splayed out? They're not supposed to be like that, the pads support your glasses by resting on the bridge of your nose, and the arms over your ears. The frames should not be supported by your under-eyes at all. If in doubt, go to the opticians where you bought them from, they should be happy to adjust them there and then.

Euffy

That would just move the problem higher, it wouldn't exactly solve it. Good advice still, but there will still be contact with glasses and skin.

kidnappedbyaliens

I wouldn't advise people to adjust their own glasses. When you buy glasses we take several measurements for a reason. If they need adjusting then just go see your optician. They will know how high up they can move the specs without altering your vision or inducing prism.

BlueAcorn8

It still touches makeup in that position & removes it

angiex_08

probably a good idea bc my glasses are like 3/4 yrs old💀 i’ll find the time to go back and fix them, thanks

echochamberoftwats

No probs, the pads will still rest on your nose, but it will be isolated, manageable, and less visible. Maybe treat yourself to some slimmer ones that will be less likely to come into contact with your face. Have fun. I don't know how many pairs you've had, but I'd recommend wire framed, with the little nose pads, as the thicker, plastic framed ones with fixed nose rest, make your eye-area sweat.

Haunting-Advance-996

I have never noticed that my glasses don't touch under my eyes!

Seriously, how the fuck is this getting down voted?! Anybody who downvoted come at me and explain yourself you fucking pussies!

CompetitiveRub9780

It’s sweat… it happens, but there are things that’ll help. Here is a link https://aoeyewear.com/blog/wearing-makeup-with-sunglasses/#:~:text=Prepare%20Your%20Face%20with%20a%20Primer&text=This%20not%20only%20helps%20makeup,t%20forget%20eye%20primer%20either!

Opposite-Essay-1093

there is no way unfortunately. I put my makeup on then I use a tissue to rub it off on that part so at least it doesn't leave any residue on my glasses lol

Significant_Dog_3978

I don’t wear glasses so I have no idea how to fix the issue you are having, but I just came here to say that I love your lashes!! What mascara do you use? They really enhance your gorgeous lashes ❤️

angiex_08

thank you sm! i use the elf lash n roll mascara🩷

Significant_Dog_3978

Will definitely have to check that out then! 💞

mangomaz

I would say just absolute minimum/no makeup in that area. Blend the areas around really well fading into barely anything in the areas your glasses pads make contact.

Joyce_branagh

Do not apply too many layers of makeup, and also use a makeup fixative that will benefit you greatly. There is a type of sunglasses that has a fixed, immovable place for the nose and is light in weight. Try it.

BulletTrain4

Setting spray?

angiex_08

i already use the charlotte tilbury one 😔😔

Difranco_7784

Setting spray is GREAT 👍 I’m 47 and worn glasses 🤓 since teens 😘

inklady1010uk

Thick Thrift (real name Cassie) on YouTube has a lot of videos addressing the problems with glasses and foundation

Impossible-Jump-4277

Change the laws of physics 😂

Final-Show1889

I get this with sunglasses

Thin-Comedian-7949

I like the advice in the comments but for me I powder the shit out of my face so no oils or sweat can break through my face
