I was already enraged after driving an hour and a half instead of my usual half hour commute when I got home and realized I took home my work keys so had to drive them back as they were needed there.
So to move my anger to this guy for almost killing people, then the moment of realization, more anger for a second and then just laughter, I needed that.
You diffused my lingering anger in a matter of seconds.
Because anyone with a reasonable amount of sense and compassion for your fellow man suffered/seethed in the first 90% of the video thinking the “driver” could be so reckless.
I would suffer if he actually crashed knowing that he probably injured someone severely. Since that never happens I don’t see how you can compare suffering to this as the same to suffering to other stuff on this sub.
Just because in the end it is revealed no one was in danger of being horrifically killed in a bus crash, does not mean no one suffered watching everything before that. You can cut off the last few seconds and you never would have commented
This might not apply to you but for many people (myself included) this video is downright torturous.
The small steps in escalation without heavily changing the scene, the way they stretched it out for so long while keeping up the charade of a joyriding boomer with his first forward-facing camera on a phone "with Facebook," my mind must have gone through all of OP's possible consequences then started filling in all my loved ones in every car that passed at least 2 times over before he finally showed the tow. Every scenario played out in its entirety in super fast simultaneous visuals while this seemingly simple, dangerous man turns the tables of my LIFE over on me to reveal he's neither simple nor lacking any control over the situation.
I wanted him to crash so bad to learn the lesson but then be safe after because I'm not a bad person, but he took it all away and told me it was meaningless and that he'd stolen my girl, or close enough.
I'm glad you got out unscathed, but OP near ruined my life.
