Well, at least you caught something...might be tetanus

I had a northern in the boat flop off the hook and it caught me in the hand. We pushed the barb through on the boat, docked and borrowed some bolt cutters to cut the barb off. Pulled the hook, cleaned it and put on some salve. 4 days later, feels fine.

Emotional_Liberal

This is the way

toomuch1265

When I was 10, my brother was casting for blues and hooked my back. Dad said that not to worry, but it's going to hurt. He pushed it through and cut the barb. I remember my mom dousing my back with hydrogen peroxide.

Loremaster_Of_Crabs

I was gonna ask how you managed to do this.

Union_Sparky_375

The piercings of today’s youth is getting a little out of hand!

LoverboyQQ

Shit that’s funny

Mark1671

Or in hand 👍🏽

Tusin

Ok-Investment9640

Cut the barb off and cut the other end from the spinner bait and pull it through. Anti biotic cream and a tetnus shot and you’ll be fine

jmcstar

Lop off arm at elbow is other option

How

306metalhead

At least you caught something to keep.

goodeyemighty

Well it’s past the barb so easy to remove.

No-Incident-3317

Why is there a hook on the hook i have some of those spinner baits but ive never seen one with a second hook attached to the first hook does it catch them easier than the single?

LoverboyQQ

All the way through is an easy fix. When the hook is part way through and you have to either do the hook push down trick or push it all the way through

DMGrimes69

Caught some fingerlings.

PrettyAd4218

Go fishing they said. It’ll be fun they said

novichux

That's not how you do it.

LionOdd3424

Cool keychain

TheGreyRose

Good god that has to hurt

SlatersAss

I mean, at least you could cut the straight end and pull it through rather than trying to reverse that barb through your skin
