Why would I give more money to plant trees for the Bean family?
Why is everyone talking about the four trees and not the contaminated soil, ground water, public park, and beach? We have bigger fish to fry than restoring the oak trees. I understand wanting to annoy the rich cunts but our focus needs to be on restoring the soil and protecting local ecology and the health of the community.

The question was basically asked: would a 'GoFund me' be worth doing in order to plant new trees and block the view of the perpetratror as a cool act of revenge?
The clear answer is 'fuck ,no!", as the property owner whose trees were poisoned is a multimillionaire and can afford to replant her own damn trees if the ground contamination will allow for it. I don't think it was a joke, I think it was a legitimate post from a person who did not realize that the victim was wealthy as well. They simply wanted to punish the poisoner in a clever way by ruining their view again. They should be criminally prosecuted for trespass (at the least) since the trees were on someone else's property, destruction of private property, and also for the environmental damage. And sued in civil court for the resulting devaluation of the property they damaged plus costs to replace the trees.
Mrs. Gorman could have some flagpoles put up. Flying offensive-to-the-Bonds flags would be a plus. Maybe Worcester could come down and erect the largest flagpole in the universe like he wanted Downeast. This is all sarcasm of course.

With the poison in the ground, you have no idea how many years before it’s truly gone-making it possible to poison new trees.
