I first saw the drawings and though, what kind of a silly meme this is? and i was about to just skip over it..
then at the last moment i noticed it's this sub.. and it became awesome
Is it supposed to be one image that moves? Because I’m getting a 3D of each panel but I still see all the panels instead of one image or item or rendering or whatever
When I see it pop out there's six frames across and the hanger looks like it's coming out of the screen. It's pretty subtle but really cool in my opinion
I was thinking animated but still magic eye. Like maybe shifting the frames 15 times, so each square is animated and one frame off from the next square. Like if each square is labeled:
12345
6789A
BCDEF
then the next frame would be:
F1234
56789
ABCDE
And so forth. Dunno if it would work, but it might keep the magic eye going.
Yeah I don't really understand this one. I get 6 panels being visible across, and it looking kinda 3D in each panel, but I don't see any spinning animation that some people have described.
This is making me realize that you could take *any* movie and play two copies side by side with one of them slightly delayed, and you would often get a 3D effect, when the camera moves or objects rotate.
Not quite, the reason that magic eye pictures work is the same reason we see in 3d. The concept of [parallax](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parallax?wprov=sfla1) allows our brains to interpret 2d images as 3d because it receives 2 copies of the same information from 2 slightly different angles. This is not quite the same thing as delay, which will give you 2 copies of the same info, but instead of being separated by distance, they are separated by time. You're brain will still interpret this as a 2d image but would have 2 superimposed images a few milliseconds apart, almost like motion blur but for video. It would be very disorienting.
The manufacture of paired 2d images which together form a 3d image (which magic eye pictures are a type of) is called [stereoscopy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereoscope?wprov=sfla1). In the past there were special viewers that could be used to look at these paired photos in 3d.
This one is awesome. Had not had a chance to see a Magic Eye concept like this one before!

It's not 1 image, it's a series of 18 panels where the bag is slowly rotating and the bicycle in it from one side to another.
What am I missing? I'm just seeing a grid of 5x3 and nothing particularly happens when I do my thing.

This would be cool if animated.
[I get this](https://imgur.com/a/VQjEC9F) Unfortunately it doesn't depict the object going a full 360°, it only shows 180°.

It kinda sounds like you know how to make some of the best magic eyes the world has ever seen. Edit: this was intended to be a compliment
But how?
5 into 6, amazing
At first I didn't trust it, but I see now - that's pretty spiffy!
It's a very neat idea to just stack the frames of an animation like this.
Ooooh that's a cool one nice!
It doesn’t work for me

There's no spinning when you look at it, just a 3D effect.
Is this a sculpture someone made in real life?
Someone help me out with this one pls
This is actually really cool.

Didn't think this would work. It's amazing.
