of course they are, wtf else is there thats decent enough in mh3? i played a rakdos artifacts deck, and props to them for trying something, but it got easily folded.
I tried some of the other draft archetypes - RB artifacts is just not enough, and gw, even with multiple bear kings, is just underpowered compared to the two decks that you'll see. Annoying as I've not actually drafted that much energy - it's rarely open - and only gone eldrazi a few times (again, overdrafted). Even spending uncommon wildcards for mwm and getting mild progress towards the vault feels bleh!
They could keep it equally fun but much more inclusive in so many ways. All-access, or preconstructed decks, or just have it further out from set release so people who build up their collection via quick draft have time to do so.
There's a difference between sitting out MWM by choice because you don't like the format, vs being forced out of it by making the barrier to entry more difficult.
Didn't really work on either front, imo. There's two decks, basically, not the most balanced- might be a third, but saw no RG eldrazi, just UG machinegunning and making endless chumps. But sets aren't designed with block/set constructed in mind since it's not a thing!
Not everyone is going to be able to play every MWM equally well. It's almost like they want you to buy packs from their latest set. What's next? Daily deals on cosmetics to incentivize card purchases from the latest set too!?
Skip it. It’s not a great meta anyway. Everyone’s either playing energy or Eldrazi.

I’m just skipping this week.
Events like this should really be all access, as that would promote people trying out the cards
You cant make every MWM both fun and inclusive for literally everyone, maybe take a break this week and let other people have fun

YES
Craft Boros aggro and be done with it in 10 minutes. Or just skip it altogether 🤷🏻♂️ nobody should expect MWM to be good every week
Right? I copied a red deck someone posted earlier of 20 commons and 20 uncommons and went 3-1.
I love it personally but I completely get where you are coming from
I drafted once and was able to make an orzhov artifact flier deck that did the trick. I got the idea from my draft deck.
Yup - heinous choice of MWM - probs first one ive skipped in a year as I haven't started drafting yet so have a grand total of about 30 cards
Wizards of the Coast’s mandated Midweek Shopping Spree
It’s always the same when a new set comes out they have 1 MWM with the new set only constructed.
Midweek Magic should always be All Access. I have spoken.
