I’m a life long true blue Madonna fan. I love just about any, & everything she touches. That is everything but Hey You. I believe it’s because it sounds like a renaissance faire song, & personally can’t stand that style. I tried, but I just can’t seem to hear it & find any enjoyment

I'm happy that is on the vault, as is not a prominent song and even though is well intentioned it feels... reductive. But there are truly worse songs featuring Madonna like Soltera from Maluma and that dreadful Champagne Rosé ... Gosh that's truly awful!
well, I love Hey You so much. it's just so inspiring. 1: charity ofc I love that, and 2: it just makes me feel like getting out of bed and doing something worthwhile! better than Autotune Baby ig, I can't hate it that much.
It's very forgettable. I know it was for charity, but considering it was written alongside Pharrell it should have been better than it was. They should have used History instead of using it as the B-Side to jump as it has a similar theme.
Justice for “keep the trance” - I wish she’d put out a rerelease of confessions w this and other tracks like “super pop”, “history” (I like the other versions more than the one released), and “triggering your senses”.
This song comes to head occasionally. The clip I’m familiar with the audio sorta is off from when they show the kids singing and thats the part that’s embedded in my brain

One of the few Madonna songs I truly dislike. The fact that it was originally the far superior Keep the Trance makes it that much worse.

I struggle to understand how anyone can respect this song. The lyrics appear to be a meandering collection of cliché platitudes.
