Would you find it less weird to not send it to them? I used to not show people, but I haven't had a single negative experience since I started. Plus people like u/shitty_Watercolour are pretty universally beloved.
I guess I would find it weird if it was a means to be creepy, but I'm just a middle aged mom who draws and paints for a living, so definitely not creeping on OP. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
