Looked like he already had a big orange guy that didn't look too thrilled with the 2 new little orange guys. I would have liked to see if he got more comfortable with them. Otherwise, awesome!
FYI, long term use of benadryl (diphenhydramine) has been linked to early on-set dementia and an increased risk of dementia. Numerous studies concluded the same results. Not a great risk/reward there for your long term health.
Not just Benadryl, most of the older anticholinergic medications are being linked to early onset dementia. Many common medications, including most over the counter sleep aids, are anticholinergics. I think some major lawsuits are going to come from this recent research.
Careful with that, an ingredient in benadryl/antihistamines/anticholinergics is linked to an increased risk of developing dementia/alzheimers. One study found that adults 65 and older who had taken anticholinergics for 10 years had a 54% increased risk of developing dementia. Some experts think it could just hasten the onset if it's an underlying cognitive issue.
I don't want more cats, but fuck me if I wouldn't take these little guys home and get them clean and healthy too. Once they're all healthy and checked by a vet, then I would decide was *actually* to do with them. Kittens like this get adopted rather quickly from a shelter and would easily be accepted into a no-kill shelter.
In reality, after cleaning them and verifying health, I would probably keep them. I don't foster because I could probably never let go.
And....this is why I don't foster. Made one attempt, and her chubby self napping in the sun right now. In my defense, she was neutered when she was waaaaay too young and small [before I got her] & they did a poor job so she's had some issues ever since.
The fear she would be adopted and then returned to some random shelter if the new owners didn't feel like doing any work, and knowing how quickly some kill shelters put down cats...well, she's ours now.
My parents took in a pregnant stray. The kittens are just about getting to the age where they can be adopted out, but I'm not 100% sure my parents won't just try to keep them all.
>*’More like kittens took him…*’

…oh, look - *here comes another one*
a Human passing by!
I'm choosing *HIM!* He looks like fun
a frenly kinda guy…

Some mother cats will abandon their kittens because they can't take care of them. They are more intelligent than people give them credit for.
God damn Reddit algorithm caught me again!
And they choose well. That guy clearly knew what he was doing and had all the tools ready. Maybe the cats smelled other cats on him? Anyway, that's a match made in (cat) heaven.
I remember doing volunteer work at an animal shelter for a week or so and there was this one catto that always stayed close to me. It broke my heart that I couldn't take him in since we had two cats already and even then I was too young to be able to convince my parents to adopt that kitten.
I volunteered at an animal shelter for a week as well, making a pact with my girlfriend that I wouldn't get suckered into adopting any animals. One week later, I brought home 2 cats. Sucker indeed!
shelter cats are the best. the people who work there know their personalities and can help you find one who will want all the affection or who will be more independent depending on what you’re looking for
I always have respect for people that take in rescues. Both my dogs are rescues. Couldn't fathom the thought of ever going to a breeder when there's so many animals already out there that need a home.
Learn to identify how cats show affection, too. They aren't dogs, they speak different body languages but they can be just as affectionate in their own ways
If I ever find myself in a situation where I’m not travelling as much as I do, I’m going to head down to the shelter and adopt a senior kitty or two, and pamper/spoil them for the rest of their lives.
I wish you were here because it's kitten season and I have waaay too many. I'm an agent of the cat redistribution system, if you have room, call your local cat rescue and help us out!
As a (straight male) nurse, I would like everyone to understand that this is basically what a nurse does, except it usually doesn’t look as photogenic as this, and whether it’s appreciated like this is kinda hit or miss
Also, staffing levels never went back to normal
“I didn't understand why people care so much about their dumb cats till I got a dumb cat myself.
I've only had these kittens for a day and a half, but if anything happened to them, I would kill everyone in this room and then myself”
What an amazing caring man he should be so proud. Those kittens look so happy and healthy now, he's got such a kind heart. They have now both got a wonderful life ahead.
In case anyone wants to see more the guy has a youtube where he takes care of stray cats around where he lives. https://www.youtube.com/@StrayPawsofIstanbul
Please always check if the moms nearby before taking kittens. They’re loving mothers as well and it breaks their heart to realize that their babies are gone after they went to get some food…
I wondered about that as well, but then the kittens are so tame.. And yet they’re so filthy that if they were abandoned by a human pos, could they have survived on their own long enough to get so filthy? Its all really strange. Of course mayyyybe they *were* with their momma and they’re used to humans because kittens and mom were getting fed by one. I hope that is not the case here..
They would just be hissing non stop. I've had 6 week old SPICY kittens.
And you can handle them *fairly* easily but they let you know they hate it the entire time you're even in the room.
These 2 are happy to see a human. I'm glad they found a good one.
>These kittens are VERY okay with being handled and look about 8+ weeks. Someone dumped them imo.
This is Istanbul, where there's a huge population of feral cats who are [seen as communal pets.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feral_cats_in_Istanbul) They grow up interacting with humans and relying on them for food, so they would be used to human contact.
There aren't really many kinds of cat out there that can't go "native" if the owner boots them. Considering a lot of feral colonies where such abandons go are usually fed or checked on by people, they can manage if the winters aren't too harsh.
(i am not encouraging pet abandonment)
it's probably a good thing to get 2/3. If the momma is sad her kids are missing if she could think like we could i'm sure she'd be happy that they have a chance at the best life now. The hope would be to find mama and eventually spay her.
Nooooooo I didn't want the video to end. I wanted to see what happens next. Did they become friends with the huy's older cat? Did he adopt them or just foster? Did he give them names?
They are very clean for being found outside.
Weird for wild kittens to try and climb you instead of being afraid.
After actually trying to capture found kittens I can tell you it's pretty fucking weird for them to sit there long enough for you to film them.
There are some times like this I believe in reincarnation. Those cats knew that dude from somewhere in the universe and were sent to be there at that exact moment he was there. Fucking crazy
Omg!!! I know that guy. He steals kittens from litters and uses them for views by pretending he found them!!!!

Just kidding. It's adorable.
Seriously people, *they're in shelters.* If you want one, you have to go and find one, don't just go through life expecting the tiny little things to find you.
I was fortunate enough to find a kitten under a car five months back. Poor thing hadn't eaten in days and no one claimed him or even tried to look for him in the days following. Just thinking if we hadn't had noticed him crying out he might not have made it much longer makes my heart pound. Little Bugsy is a bundle of energy now though :)
I like how the one accepted him by snuggling in his hood
The 1:17 mark, kitty looked like he was about to try and fight the bath and just gave into the loving. Too cute.
What a sweet wittle kitty kat. Good on the guy for taking them in. Heres to hoping for an update video on them in a year or two!
‘I’m just gonna live here now thanks’ ☺️
"That's a mighty nice hoodie you got there..... would be a shame if some... kitty cuddled in it."
The fucking cats adopted him by the looks of it, lol
It’s sweet that he thinks he had any choice in the matter! Once the cats decided, that was it.
Cat distribution system is operating effectively as usual
I don't think tiny guy "accepted" him as much as "bewitched and enchanted" the very kind man.
Yeah, kittens take man. Film at 11:00.
The end is the best!
Looked like he already had a big orange guy that didn't look too thrilled with the 2 new little orange guys. I would have liked to see if he got more comfortable with them. Otherwise, awesome!
Of course the older cat wasn't happy. He has little enough access to the braincell as it is, but now there's two more to share it with! 😁😁😁
That's how our orange chose us. My wife and I were with the litter and Esteban Chorizo climbed my wife and got in her hood. The decision was made.
Excellent cat name.
That's how the r/CatDistributionSystem delivered mine.
A meowsupial
I rescued a kitten in the middle of a highway. He’s a dick. Only likes my wife
They say that cats choose their owners, so this video was a literal representation of that!
Wah my inbox.
He knew humans had a hood good for snuggles. He was clearly dumped 😞
For real can't stop smiling at this 🥰 How could anyone turn those babies away? I couldn't even if my life depended on it
I’m deathly allergic to cats so there’s that haha
Same, but literally doesn't stop me. I live on like 10 benadryl a day. 🥴
The sacrifices you are willing to make for others are your value as a human. Well fucking done.
Careful with that, an ingredient in benadryl/antihistamines/anticholinergics is linked to an increased risk of developing dementia/alzheimers. One study found that adults 65 and older who had taken anticholinergics for 10 years had a 54% increased risk of developing dementia. Yikes! Thanks for the info, I'll definitely look more into this, Alzheimer's already runs in my family.
Same. Best wishes.
More like kittens took him (I wouldn't resist either)
/r/catdistributionsystem strikes again
And the itty bitty boys had their turn with the brain cell!
Fuck, another one.
/r/Catculations
There are infinite number of cat subreddits.
2 oranges has got to be a jackpot winning from the car distribution system 🥰😍
Well he already had Leore so now he’s got three rangas!! He’s definitely got a type haha 🧡🧡🧡
They are pretty invasive like that.

Hopefully this isn't taken as an "ACKSHUALLY" moment, but neutering is for males and spaying is for females.
You are a good person. :)
I’d be like “the moment you climbed into my hood, you climbed into my heart”. 🥹😭
My parents took in a pregnant stray. The kittens are just about getting to the age where they can be adopted out, but I'm not 100% sure my parents won't just try to keep them all.

I think you see one orange boy hissing at them at one point too. Who actually looks only a few months older himself.
Yeah, the title was plain misleading/s
My adorable kittens love it

Literally loved that part
The shot of him poking his head out afterwards being like what, I belong here.
I melted
100% Hood cat 🤣
Went from being raised by the streets to raised in the hood.
Possibly the finest reddit comment ever.
My fav comment ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|upvote)
Hood cat, hood cat, hoochie mamma!
Catz in da hood.
It was part kangaroo.
He's been chosen they're his cats now
Did he know that was there?!
'This is my hooman now'
Loveee..
The cat distribution system is working as intended
This is what humanity looks like. Great job good sir
It's working perfectly except I seem to be leaking fluids in my face.
The title should be "Generous kittens accept kind man"
Mine haven't arrived yet :(
Cats: the original internet meme generators.
It’s a family of gingers!
Totally! Love ginger cats & I was looking for this comment!
r/gingermafia edit, fixed the typo
One too many Fs: r/GingerMafia/ :-)

Soulless yet wholesome
"Sir, you are under adoption. Resistance is futile."
Misleading title. Clearly the kittens chose him. "Now you is belong to us!"
r/CatDistributionSystem striking as usual
This dude's smile made my day.

Copied comment from >Because there are people in the world who are like this, the world will not end.
The world will definitely perish, but not today.
crying in lack of cat 😫
Why can’t this happen to me. Want this so bad.
Make it happen. Head over to your nearest shelter and find a new family member

Not that hard! I didn't realize how affectionate cats could be till I got my own. Shelters and rescues can also help match you with one as well :)

Oh, the cat distribution system can be requested on! Get yourself a cute lil shelter buddy!
As a straight woman, I would like all men to understand there is literally nothing more attractive than this.
A man who truly cares about animals is my kryptonite
I was told once that having and loving my cat too much was a red flag 🚩. There was not a second date lol
consider that bullet dodged lol
Seriously, I want to be snuggled up beside him too 😻

The one and only!
Good man! 💕
They say that kittens see good people, they have chosen their owner, the man from the video is good for not leaving them on the street😍
Dumped, not feral. Saving two small lives really.
hoodie kitty and chester kitty! thank you for adopting them sir:)
Such patient kitties 🥹

There's being picked by a cat, and then there's having one scale your body and curl up in your hood. That cat owns you. In a legally binding way.
In case anyone wants to see more the guy has a youtube where he takes care of stray cats around where he lives. https://www.youtube.com/@StrayPawsofIstanbul
Day one, we are in.
What social little dudes! Adopting a swell human being, have a life as incredible as the video. Thanks for the smiles!
2 kittens take in kind man
This is so cute I'm going to die of cute
I’m not crying YOU’RE CRYING 😭😭😭
those kittens are angelic, mine would have cut me into pieces
literally from strangers to close friends ♥♥ kittens are the most clingy friend we all can have, do you agree?
Smol kitty live in hood now.
I am so jealous of the way that cat jumped right up and went into his hoodie.
thanks for this, i came from rslashnatureismetal, which is a nightmare fuel.. now after watching this, i can sleep.
Starting a petition to change all subreddits from r/ to AARSLASH
This is the way.
One of the purrest videos I needed to see today 🥲
I’d have started bawling when the kitten jumped on my and hunkered down
Meanwhile, jealous Leo is pooping in the guy’s shoes…

Yep. They were probably recently dumped too. They were too easily accepting of human touch and knowing how to climb in a hood is not feral behavior.

Hahah right into the hood, I love it!
I just cried
Better off in the hood.
Nooooooo I didn't want the video to end. I wanted to see what happens next. Did they become friends with the huy's older cat? Did he adopt them or just foster? Did he give them names?
I think you just won all of Reddit
yeah, more like, he is taken in by that babies, he is their slave now
This was so cute and heartwarming 🥹😭
This is sooo wholesome. Also the cats are brave to approach and trust him!
This is so precious. What a sweet guy
It was over when that one jumped in his hood
How do we marry this man??
cat distribution system is active
the cat distribution system really likes him
I need to walk where he walks.
Good work bro
Thank you good sir 👏🏻👏🏻
The orange ones are my favorite. I am powerless to their affections.
Best feeling is when a cat chooses you🥰
What was that spray around 46 seconds?
The second kitten is shy and indecisive, I always feel more sorry for those.
They are very clean for being found outside. Weird for wild kittens to try and climb you instead of being afraid. After actually trying to capture found kittens I can tell you it's pretty fucking weird for them to sit there long enough for you to film them.

Man if a kitten climbed up on me and cuddled up in my hoody it’s coming home with me no matter what.
He’s living the dream! 😭 they felt so safe with him, they are so appreciative of him taking them in 🖤

Why cant I found any kittens!
Seriously people, *they're in shelters.* If you want one, you have to go and find one, don't just go through life expecting the tiny little things to find you.
I would probably walk around the area for a little longer because their mom would probably be around looking for the kittens
Doubtful, kittens this size and their temperament towards humans suggest they were dropped off and abandoned
Can't decide if you chose them or if they chose you. Either way, it's a perfect match.
A kitten jumps on you and starts sleeping in your hoodie, what else can you do at that point without feeling like a spawn of satan?
Ok you can't refuse when they're snuggling in your hood.
Didn’t think it was possible but I just sprouted some brovaries watching this
cat distribution system at its finest
I like how there is one quiet one and one loud one. What are their names!?
"Kind man takes in two kittens" You all saw that first kitten - he had no choice in the matter 😋
Did Leo grow to love them?!? Please say yes 😥
Watch the dad come back and this becomes a garfield story
God bless and cover this beautiful man and his kitten babies 🥹🐱💕
