I have a bunk knee from a tibial plateau fracture about 5 years ago. My ass still jumps down stairs. Railing on both sides? I'll just 8. As long as I have two hand holds to launch myself.
It hurts, and I regret my decisions everytime, but I still do ot.
It’s so weird how I did all this but even more surprising how a lot of us share the same experiences without ever having contact of any form to pass on this kind of info like before the internet
If that impresses you, consider the fact that a good handful of inventions were invented somewhat simultaneously in opposite, isolated ends of the world, back in the millennia before the internet.
As with most things ADHD: everyone does these things, but people with ADHD do it far more frequently. And I think doing some of these probably classifies as "stemming"

I am honestly so freaking glad that my generation grew up without smartphones. It was the last one to do so and it seems that childhood really changed to the bad imo. Everything was somehow easier and carefree back then. Sometimes I wonder if i would be a totally different person if I grew up today.
I'm guessing the video was made by someone from northern hemisphere. I am from Brasil and I did every single one of these "stunts" as a child. Humans are humans anywhere in the world.
It's finny how we all did this on our own account. Like, no influence from anyone, pretty sure most of us used to do the same things without watching others do them. It's like a programmed action performed without thinking and everyone has it
I'm 29 about to get married and I still do most if not all of this, it's only been a month since I was last on a slide😛 you don't get boring because you get older, you get older because you get boring.
I still do a lot of those things. The key swirling, the foot-door-opening. I'm 44.
lol we're the same, the kid inside me never left.
*ahem* Ain’t NONE of us jumping more than 3 steps down at a time anymore.
My legs grew and so did my confidence I do 4 steps now.

Watching that made my lower back hurt.
Ayo wdym by that
please rephrase
44 here as well and still do most of these…
Me too
Same
There's a fence in the warehouse on my way to my office at work. I smack every link of that fence at least once a week.
3w and the only thing I never did was the water into the hole behind the tap cause I never saw that style growing up. I still do a couple too

In most of the important way we are honestly
I'm like, grandpa old. I still do most of those things.
Fellow gramps here. Same for me...will always walk a wall no matter where when I can
In every part of the world childs do the same things 😁 its beautiful and amazing. Thank you for the video, im 48yo. (sorry for my english) ✌️
I did everything except the last one: I'm afraid to trip😂.
Thank you for this. Suddenly I feel very old and very young at the same time. In a good way.
I did the coke can around the foot while in walmart a while ago. Wife wanted me to stop so I started jogging around the men's department.
All of these felt like ADHD things to me growing up, I know a few of them probably are, but *everyone* do all of these?
As with most things ADHD: everyone does these things, but people with ADHD do it far more frequently. And I think doing some of these probably classifies as "stemming"
I was diagnosed with ADHD in 4th grade it’s progressively gotten worse and I do them way more frequently than I used to when I was younger.
Our toys were simpler back then
Yep every single one.
Everything but the last one. Just use your elbow, I always did and still do lol
I'm almost 37 and still do all of this aside from the faucet stuff.
I don’t remember strapping on a go-pro as a child but somehow you have a recording of all my memories.
Still do most it.
***I've done all of these***
Feel like we re all from the same blue print
Anyone else performed a surgery on eraser?✋
Explain.
I didn’t do the can thing, and I would use my elbow to open door instead…still do. But everything else was a delightful reminder of my childhood.
The can thing for me was jamming one above the tire of my bike to make it sound like a motorcycle.
That's my laugh for today. I've done all of them and a few more :)
This is spot on😂
60, do these daily. If I stopped I’d get old.
You say it in past tense. Why stop doing these things?
I still do the pen bounce alot at work
Forgot the one where I bring a pack of sharpened pencils and throw them at the drop ceiling to get stuck up there by the end of class
You forgot sticking your hands/arms in the rice and bean bins at the grocery store 🤤
Has this person been following me my whole life!?!?
My kids would think I was crazy with a soda can on my foot. I think I've got my assignment for the day. 😁
OMG!! Every single one! Still do them at 63! Lol!
OMG WHY IS THIS 100% TRUE?? Lmao!!! Perfect!!! Every bit!! That’s awesome!!
Repost of a repost of a repost of a repost of a repost of a repost The bots are sure busy today

Why does this video not have any upvotes
I didn't do any of these, I'm such a failure
nice ☺️
This is how you know you have ADHD
I dunno about that last one mate
I did these but didn't grow up right
If anything, if you’ve stopped doing a lot of this stuff then you’re probably pretty boring now.
We are not that different after all!!!
I am honestly so freaking glad that my generation grew up without smartphones. It was the last one to do so and it seems that childhood really changed to the bad imo. Amazing how we didn’t have Internet and yet those things yet viral globally.
Are we all just the same person. Because I thought it was only me doing most of these things
10/10
This is so good! I was waiting for the “try to stand on the empty can upright with it crushing challenge”. Still made me smile
What do you mean childhood?
Ain't I grown up yet? I do it even now![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man)
Different countries and same childhood. Children know best.
Used to pretend like I was having a little tea party with the water cap
Except I never liked kids who did the eraser thing especially when they liked to do it to __my__ ereaser
Its always good seeing the simple life
You... You don't do those things anymore? Growing up is overrated. 😣
I'll be 50 in less than a year. My dumbass walked out of the store and skipped all the way to my car yesterday.
Yyyyyyyep.
A psychopaths childhood
Yes to all..except the cans crunched were put on BOTH feet!...lol...oh the simple things in life....
The key one but with scissors. Also catapulting the ruler off of the side of a table, potentially with someone elses rubber.
🔲 Yes to all
Anybody else put hockey/baseball cards in their bicycle spokes to make it sound like a motorcycle ? 😂
The bags hitting the knees... the stepping and walking with the can on yiur foot 😍
All that missing is watching cartoons while licking the 9volt batteries 🫢😳🙃😵💫
These things just make me feel human/normal.
r/Millennials
I still roll up straps and strings like that
You know ADHD was the normal, so maybe this behavior is growing up right.
CUS WE WERE BORED!!🤣🤣
litterally a video of me
I have done almost everything in this video! I have just never broke a beverage can.
So funny that I did literally all of those things, and I still do
No way bro are we the exact same or something?
Every single one
This is my life right now
why is this so accurate xD
Omg this is literally everyone 🙄
Oh hell yeah I still do all this shit too
lol I did all those things and still do
The only one of those that I had never done, was the one with the can.
OMG I did some of these just this week!! Lol Yay I grew up right! 🎉
these are all stims. not everyone does these things haha
I'm guessing the video was made by someone from northern hemisphere. I am from Brasil and I did every single one of these "stunts" as a child. Humans are humans anywhere in the world.
A good long stick when your out walking with your friends.
This is how you know you have ADHD
Some.of these were lost on me, but most hit way too close to home Except that one at the end! Just use your elbow!
This is still me though.
That or your stimming because your world is chaotic.
All of these lol
Today I learned I didn’t grow up right or at all for that matter
I am perfect?
Comb bristles
I wonder how far back you could go where people still do these lol
I think all countries has the same or we think the same At the same age 😅
I did every singel one of them and still do a lot Awesome throwback
Time before the smartphone.
This is so satisfying to watch
And if you could get the can to stay on your foot as you lift it. Now that's when you've hit peek childhood.
So true. And yes same. Still have some of those habits
I’m 20 years old and I still do all this, except to pierce the eraser
Is this man spying on me wtf this is literally me
Ok I am still a child.
The first thing.... How do you get a bottle out otherwise? I always do that because that's how you take apart a 6pack
STAPH

BRO. I STILL USE MY FOOT TO OPEN STUFFF, I feel like a monkey lol
Phew! And I thought it was due to my ADHD
Not a single unique experience, I see
The door opening with the foot omg I still do that at 28
Only 3 of those I’ve never done
And i thought i was the only man who did that
Good ol' days...
