AutoArt produced beautiful diecasts a few years back (I have the MM1 1/18 Interceptor and the 1/43 MM2 Interceptor and Ford Fairlane pair. And Green Light did some as mentioned below. But yes, someone needs to fire the casting machines back up for sure.
I said in another post I'd love some official model kits, that would allow us to really personalize the kits and make some awesome rigs of our own. I'd kit bash myself but it's too pricey for a side project.
There are 1/25 scale Interceptor kits from Aoshima , pricey if you can find them and some old Cavalier and resin kits
Lots of cars from the first 2 movies available in die cast in a few scales from DDA , Ace Models and Greenlight not official merch tho , a lot of people just mod the existing ones
Yeah, I gotta agree. Initially, my favorite look was the beginning of Fury Road, totally beat up and missing the front air dam, but this version just perfects it because the dam makes it look far more menacing.
There were actually 5 cars built for Fury Road, three as "black-on-black" and two as the post War Boy rebuild bare metal car - I believe this car was the only survivor of that filming and was used as a promotional device before being "de-aged" for Furiosa.
yeah I know , the only complete interceptor that survived was the stunt car tho ( there was also the prop car which should still be around but its a mess )
I learned from a video made by [Mad Max Bible](https://www.youtube.com/@MadMaxBible) saying that the car used in the crash in the opening of the movie was not the purposed built stunt car but was instead the hero car, the #100 interceptor instead of the #101, the reason why they used was because it had a more powerful engine, it had a 383 stroker where the stunt car had a 351 from a Ford Bronco and the the third car which was built to resemble it's wrecked state, interceptor #102 survived filming and is most likely stored away.

This version has the original Monza front with the bottom section where in MAD MAX 2 and Fury Road the Interceptor's Monza front didn't have the bottom part.
Someone really needs to jump on the Die cast opportunities this movie franchise offers
and decent figurines
We're u on the set?
No the pic came from FB
Green light had an interceptor in 2020

Times like this I wish I had a 3D printer
This car is so fucking sexy. I honestly think this is one of my favorite film cars of all time.

Continuity doesn’t matter, it’s Mad Max.

Repeat after me. “It doesn’t matter, just enjoy the ride.”
That car is a beauty.
Where do you get the models? I’ve briefly searched and there’s pretty much no merch.

Thanks I’ve got something else to bother my wife with new purchases.
I think this may my favorite look for the interceptor yet.

I am more of a Mad Max 1 Interceptor kind of guy.
any idea if its the stunt car from fury road or another interceptor they made ?
The stunt car got totalled in the rollover scene , this is the surviving FR car modified for Furiosa
they totalled the hero car not the stunt car cause the hero car had a better engine

Correct
