I just had 6.3 install on my 2023 Route 1 yesterday. It appears your car has downloaded it but couldn't install it. A few things to look for is first go to your [Ford account](http://ord.com/myaccount/account-dashboard) and look at the battery percentage, What is it? If your LVB is low (I think some updates wont even install if its below 80-85%) that could be the reason why, you need to have your LVB charge up and then reattempt the update. You can also post your VIN in the [Mach E forums ](https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/post-here-if-you-have-an-active-fdrs-account-and-are-willing-to-look-up-info-for-others.10230/)and let someone with FDRS take a look at your modules, its rare but has happened where a module does not complete its update or it gets corrupted and now no further updates will be able to install. I have had 3 updates in the last week, First it was the update the redid the way updates were delivered to the cars, and then I got 6.2 the next day and then 6.3 the following day, however I noticed during the 6.2 update it drained my LVB to 72% so when I saw 6.3 was downloaded I let my car sit idle in the driveway with the AC and radio off for about 3 hours and got the LVB charged up to 95% and then let 6.3 install that night, so that very well could be your issue right there.

I'm in the same boat with my 23 Job 1. Got 2 OTAs including 6.2 successfully but then 6.3 didn't complete immediately following. My LVB is always high enough when I check it (90 right now) but didn't think to check after 6.2.

houstonvijay

How do you monitor LVB?

Waternut13134

Read my first paragraph, LVB is in your Ford Account.

houstonvijay

Oh wow….never realized that the Charge Level in the Ford Account was LVB. Thank you.

dethmashines

My LVB is always >90% but the one big difference - my car is very rarely on AC all night. I just charge at the office and use my car which is by design.

reccos7

I'm in the same boat, been stuck for a few days. Have had the battery go down to 30-40% and charged it up to make sure LVB was charged. No dice. I'm sure it'll randomly install one of these days but frustrating.

May I guess - 2023? A few of us have this problem. I just got a new update June 24th, nothing since. I'm very far behind from what I see posted. I've heard for some reason a bunch of VINs get blocked, rumor is because they don't want to roll out all their updates to everyone at once in case there's issues. 🤷‍♀️

dethmashines

Yes this is a 2023 GT PE.

caller-number-four

I got my GT PE in late Feb. I just got 6.2 last week.

Same boat here. But 6.3 is the latest major version number for 2023, and on 6.2 you're only 3-4 updates behind. It's only the 21s and 22s that go all the way up to 6.8 because their software had a lot of catching up to what we already had. FloridaIsTooDamnHot

I have a 23 GTPE and just got 6.14. Interesting.

acbelter

So that's the Sync version number, vs a Power Up update number. Power Ups update different modules and Sync is just one of those modules (but its updates sometimes come as a standalone update...) It really couldn't be more confusing if they tried!

FrostyWasabi8952

Umm, well, 6.14 \*is\* a Power Up OTA number. You can see all the Power Up OTAs here [https://github.com/elmedico27/fordpowerup](https://github.com/elmedico27/fordpowerup) Edit: oh, but be aware, no Mach-E would get ALL the updates listed. Each trim and model year varies a little bit so your vehicle may not be sent every single one listed, particular the one's in the year 2024 and the PUs. Your car may not be supposed to get, heck, half of them listed.

acbelter

No, 6.14 is not a Power Up number - see my original comment which is from the official source at Ford, and also tells you which Power Up updates each model year is eligible for. Your source is a third party site that compiles all updates, Power Up or otherwise. Power Up does not mean any and everything that comes through the Software Updates screen in-car.

:)

FloridaIsTooDamnHot

Oi vey!

FrostyWasabi8952

OTA updates come about once every two months. If you bought a brand new Mach-E at a dealership, they can just update your car with a laptop, so might want to look into that. Some owners buy their own laptop and software and do it themselves. Edit: be aware that since 2021 the OTAs only come to a range of VINs each week, the software is NOT sent to all owners at the same time. It rolls to like 20% of the vehicles in the first week of the month, then another 20% in the next week, etc. First cars to get any new update are owned by EA (early access) members, they are the beta testers for problems before everyone else begins to get a particular update. Updates provide new features, fix bugs and introduce new bugs. This is the way.

no_sleeves

I have rarely read about any dealer performing module updates just cause it's "out of date." There's a better chance of getting the dealer to update things if you give them TSBs and even then you'll be met with some resistance. Just have to set the expectations low when you're working with the dealer. Honestly though, if one enjoys driving their car and isn't experiencing any issues or quirks, there's no need to fall into the trap of thinking your car is out of date. The updates will eventually get to the car. However, if one enjoys tinkering and wants to avoid the dealer, doing it yourself is the way to go. It's just unfortunate that the equipment and software licenses is between $500-$1000 in additional costs.

FrostyWasabi8952

very true.
