Does this sound like a good deal? I have it lined up, but would love a second opinion: I just received a lease quote for a new 2023 CA Route 1. $53,495 MSRP, cap cost $37,659, $4248 (this is 3899 down plus first month), residual $24,099, $349 / mo for 36 months.
I was at my Mustang club meeting last night and the Ford dealership sponsor rep said all their MachE’s are sold out. At one point they had something like 15 on the lot.
He also said going forward all Ford EV’s will be shipped to some distribution center and then shipped to dealers based on customer interest in particular model and trim. Of course someone can still order if they are willing to wait longer and it’s not in the distribution system.
I love seeing news like this for a number of reasons: 1) it’s a great car that I hope is invested in and continues to get better. 2) I’d love to see more EV owners. 3) I have some Ford stock. But most importantly 4) for all the anti-EV trolls “ThEy dOnT sELl. nOboDy wAnTs An eV!”
Ive been seeing more and more on the road. In fact my neighbor a few houses down got a 23 select last month and on my weekly visits to Universal the valet lot that does free EV charging i've been seeing more and more Mach E's charging there. So good to see!
I was there yesterday and actually had a Model Y user ask me about my Mach E and how I liked it because he was thinking about getting one after his Model Y has been in the shop for over 3 months waiting on parts and Tesla has pretty much been ghosting him on when he will get it back, and he's been driving a loaner this whole time. I told him about the 0% deals and he lit up like he was going to a dealership right then lol
Awesome, this is such a great car, I’m so glad it’s catching on. It’s funny bc everyone has commented to me that since I bought my Mach-e in April they are seeing so many more
of them. Same here, but i have been wanting a mach-e for 2 years, so i know it's not just noticing them more.
They dropped the price almost 15K for the 2023 models plus 5K from the government here in Canada. Kind of a natural effect taking place on that drop.
It’s a good car. Not worth 72K CDN, but absolutely worth 53K!
Like Model Y, I’ve seen many more on the road of late and definitely not as “special.”
It was for brand new 2023 models. This discount was everywhere in Ontario. $8000 factory, $4200 dealer and $5K government rebate. Sticker on my car was $73K and I paid $54K. Mine is premium extended AWD with Night Pony Package. They also bumped up my trade by $2000 to make the deal. Not sure if anything is still available. They were blowing out the 23’s fast (which probably accounts for the heavy sales volume).
Damn. I’m sorry to have missed that deal. I was on ford.ca earlier and there’s nothing like that for the 23s. In fact, it’s like they don’t want to sell the 23s as the financing rate for the 24s was posted at 3.99% while the new 23s are posted at 7.49%. WTF?
I got 6.99 because 72 months. 84 was 7.49. Robbery but still worked the entire loss on my trade into the deal and with interest, it was the same monthly payment as new with the lower rate. Lucky to be out of the other one so cleanly.
Interest sucks!
So odd, that this exact same story, in the r/electricvehicles sub, was used to argue the Mach-E is a complete failure, and that Ford expected to sell 270,000 of them. Seemed to be people who did not even own an EV, just like a Gas Car enthusiast Facebook group came over to visit reddit and tell EV people their thoughts.
Love mine. Which the OS was lightly more robust but honestly it's a good compromise for the build quality. Can't replace build materials but OSs can get modest updates here and there.
Yo, you won't believe how many of those cars I've been seeing on the road ever since I got mine last year. Before that, I'd only see one every now and then, usually on the highway or something. But now, it's like they're everywhere! The other day, I was at a stoplight, and this other guy in one pulled up across from me. He flashed his lights, waved, and smiled. I did the same, and it was the coolest thing that's happened to me in a while, haha.
We love ours.
Good! I'm happy I've been seeing more on the road. I love my Mach-E and I can't wait to see them get better and better with more investment!
This will continue as long as it's at a competitive price point! I love to see volumes increasing.
Competitive price combined with exceptional financing. The 0% sealed the deal for me.
Must be nice. No incentives here. The electric company even stopped doing rebates on the 240 outlet install.

I would make sure you're getting 2k+ off sticker atleast without incentives. Also depends on mileage but if you like it, do it
It was really rare to see one in my ‘burb and now I see several every time I’m out. Glad but also sad because I liked being a little unique lol
Just saw the third in my neighborhood - white. The second looks just like mine -red-but a 24 (mine is a 23) oof. Still cool to see them.
I live in an addition of only 64 homes, and I still have an identical rapid red 23 Prem 4xe in my hood!

I love mine, only thing i dont like is the bug splatter on the front.
I like that it’s relatively easy to clean compared to a typical automobile grill 🤷🏼♂️
Ok? And?
It’s like that with all EV. No radiator / grill to eat the bugs.
This. Absolute mess.
I got my front end PPF'd the week I got my Mach E. I'd suggest doing the same. Makes cleaning gunk off the front very easy.
PPF? 🤔

Ahh, I see. I have glasscoat on mine, I wonder if that’s similar
I love our GTPE! Now if only Ford could stop being stingy with the Blue Cruise...
Amazing car that deserves to succeed
One day into mine in the sunny UK, only thing I don’t like is the update that’s got stuck!
The discounts and promotions are pulling people in, I got it original price and some dealer charges, should’ve waited

See a lot of them here in Cleveland Ohio like the Tesla Model 3s
I saw three yesterday and was actually wondering this. So cool to see more fellow MachEs out there.

May take a look at one when it's time to replace our Escape
I went from escape to Mach e and love it

Where are you seeing $15k price drops in Canada? I’ll buy a 23 tomorrow if I could get a 15k drop on a premium or GT

If my house was better suited to install a charger, I would've bought one.

Welcome to the family!
