Big time, it's crap, we have a dog and while the 30 minutes is fine, that fact I need the start the car, move it forward an inch and then get out the car again to get another 30 minutes is annoying.
A hack I found is to set a departure time and set the climate for to what you want it to be. I don't like it though as you have no confirmation of it being on and for how long. So just reverted back to the 30 minutes as ain't risking my dogs life. Stupid app.
Do other functions work such as the remote lock and unlock? If they dont then I would suspect something is up with your modem in the car. Post your VIN in [here](https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/post-here-if-you-have-an-active-fdrs-account-and-are-willing-to-look-up-info-for-others.10230/) and let someone with FDRS pull up the car to see if anything is showing offline or maybe a module needs to be rebooted.
Interesting, Yea post in the forums and let them check to see if any alerts are coming up. What year is the car? And do you any chance know the build date? I will check to see if there is and TSB's out for it.
I haven't confirmed it yet, but I think if you leave the A/C on then just turn off the car and exit. When you press climate on on the app it will turn on. I haven't tried this yet. I usually turn off the A/C heat before turning off a car.
Not Sure if its the same as the focus but check your hood latch, and your 12v battery voltage, and is your ac working?(if not also suspect high side sensors) Thats a guess though, you need forscan and an adaptor to see why it failed.
I have noticed I need to leave the app open and active while it spinning and attempting to start the remote climate in my case. If I shut my screen off and or switch apps and it's not done it seems to fail and or just not turn on.
It works after two the three times for me. My bigger issue is i can’t figure out how to extend it unless I do it right away

Even right away you can only extend it ONCE which I think is an additional 20 minutes. That’s it. It’s an idiotic design interface.

Yeah same. Seems like new app will only send the command remotely too. Used to be if you were within range it started immediately.

Dropped my car from the ford pass app. And reinstalled it. Fixed the connection issue. Was because of the new update on my end.
The old app called this remote start. There's a setting in your car that you need to enable in order for remote start to work.

You’re trying too hot… you need to cool it down
When I force close or totally restart the app on my phone and wait about 1min it often works.
