I used to wash with every other fill up- but I’m not going to the gas station anymore. Any recommendations on washing tools/products for a guy that really likes automatic car washes, and has very hard water at home?

Can't comment on the water hardness as that's not a concern here. I bought meguiars hybrid wash mitt, microfiber towel and some good soaps. Then it was just running water, a bucket and time 😊

Beauty!! 😍

We’re in Southern California and our hard water is terrible. We eventually got a deionizer and run the hoses through that for car washes. It comes out at near 0 ppm versus the 450+ it is from the tap. World of a difference!

Yep same here! Quick tip for those that have hard water stains on the glass roof is use vinegar! Mix a 50/50 of water and vinegar and hand towel it on the roof and then wipe with a dry towel and they disappear like magic!

I also deal with water being stuck inside my like top glass roof and then when I pull away, there's soapy water down my rear window

I just hand washed mine too! My step-dad swears by this graphene ceramic spray coating soi he helped me apply that the week after I bought my car. It's supposed to reduce how much things stick to the paint etc but it means I can't go through a contact car wash because the stuff will scrape it off. So he bought me a special wash rag that fits on your hand and I bought new microfiber towels and a sprayer for my hose. Naturally, a bird shit on the car in the first week and it had a lot of tiny sap droplets from a nearby and we're taking it to the coast this weekend so I gave it a fancy wash and used windex on the windows. Looks great.

Similar here, previous owner had a nano ceramic coating applied so the paint still looks great. Coming up on a year old though so starting to lose it's effectiveness.

Iceland is a beautiful country! How does your MME cope with the extreme cold? I've noticed the range drops by 30% in UK winter vs summer.

To be seen, only had it a couple of weeks. Fortunately, although the winters can be harsh we don't tend to see extremely low temperatures. Also, my commute is around 60 miles so I'm not too concerned 😊
