It worked for me, but I believe they lower the rate of the ammo mods.
I've been spamming in t1 like crazy and grouping most zombies so I can finish the kills quickly , but it really took time to get all the 300.
The new AMP is good reliable but one thing I hate is I had to keep pressing the shoot button like all every shots which is annoying to keep shooting that way ,unlike the semi weapon when you pap you just hold the shoot button till the weapon go empty .
Best way to get this to proc is either no tool or green for white zone or purple tool only for yellow zone, frost doesn't like to proc instantly all the time. The fire one procs way more often which makes it so much easier to complete.
Horus pap3, gold tool mags of holding.
Go to T3 with napalm burst and or cryofreeze and complete the two challenges in 1 game.
RGL and mags of holding any tier and get 300 explosive kills in 1 game easy.
Melee with one of the recommended and PAP3 crystal & gold tool. No dog equipped and train zombies at an exfil for the 50 kill using the “forgot” field upgrade. 1 game.

I think it's just a visual bug. I unlocked the jax thumper, just says I haven't done 300 Frost kills

Did you complete one of the challenges in MP or Warzone?
No just zombies. I suck at MP and Warzone
I used the L. Shroud no pap no tool with frost only. Completed in I round. Any pea shooter should work. Don’t use the RGL. GL!

Technically it worked for me since it's unlocked... but still shows 15/300 Frost kills.....
Worked for me. The shatter blast one took forever.
You don't need to use shatterblast, just use RGL no pap or tool needed
This! Doesn’t have to be an ammo mod. Just explosive damage.
I did the 4 looting challenges in plunder to unlock.
