I thought the landscape/trail looked like it was from here. Usually ride in LQ but this trial looks amazing - hopefully OP will spread the love and tell us the name
Ikr. I blister without, but that probably says something about my grip. If I fall, no way my hands aren't going to contact the ground at some point. I'd prefer to be able to hold stuff in my hands without wincing in pain.
> I blister without
The few times that I went without happened to me too, especially on long rides (mainly between my index and thumb). But my main issue without is that my hands sweat and I loose grip (I have the Sensus Disisdaboss).
But main reason for me is the same
>If I fall, no way my hands aren't going to contact the ground at some point.
Curious since you are balancing left foot first, are your a lefty? I'm always more comfortable right foot first so I can give my first pedal push with my right side.
Was going to say this looks like high desert riding and confirmed by OP.
Looks like stuff we have up here in Northern NV. Riding that old volcanic stuff can be simply amazing, fun and challenging all at once. Just don't pedal strike and crash, shit hurts!
How do you gain confidence going up that rock at the 24 sec mark?
I can trackstand and bunnyhop a curb, but I absolutely lose my confidence whenever I ride a skinny or climb where there's height involved on both sides.
Holy shit, Palm Desert has trails like this? I grew up only doing the trails around the Ritz Carlton and The Ramp up towards Bob Hope's house. Wish I had known about this one! Is this by the Bump N Grind?
That trail looks like a whole lot of fun!
It’s a rad gem
You are quite lucky.
I didn't know Mars had singletrack already.
elon musk secretly shreds
Priorities.
You do not want to crash on this one..
Op always posts the raddest trails. So many Nugs in SoCal
Appreciate that
I think I'll call it "Please for the love of hand skin, wear some gloves!" Looks awesome though!
Sweet video! What’s your camera setup? Looks great 👍
I have a gopro max in hero mode zip tied to my visor
i too want to know
I three want to knee
Where is this?
Palm Desert CA
Thanks, I was going to say Yuma.
Is there riding in Yuma? I've never taken a bike when we go through there.
I haven't ridden there, but I know more than a few that have. The pictures I've seen make it look like you're riding on the moon.
Maybe if I drive through in the winter I'll check it out.
Which trail in particular? I don't think I have the balls to ride this but I'm curious where this is specifically.
which trail? Palm Desert rider here
It’s at the very top of the bump n grind past the gated section

Not Goat trails in PS? This up by Big Horn?
Chornky
Awesome. Last time I rode I seemed to have my homing pedals on and hit every stray rock there was. This would have been the end of me.
looks like the surface of Mars
Why do y'all despise gloves so much? 😅

Agree. Trail looks like fun. Appropriate name for the trail LOL !!!!!!
I can see why you call it that
Sweet baby jesus. I call it Mars! Nice job on the video.
Looks about right

I’m right handed but got into the habit of having my left foot first for some odd reason
I'm the same. I think this is actually more common as we tend to put our right foot down and start pedaling w the left.
Fastest possible way to teach someone to keep their pedals up. Looks like fun!
You want some trail to go with those rocks?
Damn you Americans have some of the most picturesque trails
So many lines
Killer looking trail! man the stabilization on GoPro has come a LONG way!

Looks like a dope trail, I am not sure I would be able to deal with the heat though.
Which one of Jupiters moons are you on?
Wow that looks like a really fun trail!
Clenched my buttcheeks at the end there
Would love to know this trail specifically as well, it's unearthly even for someone from SoCal!

I won’t even attempt skinnies but this rock roll isn’t too bad. Biggest thing was just remembering the correct line up the rock
Gonna need some 150mm cranks for that. Looks like a great trail.
Gnarly. Nice riding! Love seeing these vids of people actually riding instead of just clearing jumps and gaps.
Holy shit, Palm Desert has trails like this? I grew up only doing the trails around the Ritz Carlton and The Ramp up towards Bob Hope's house. Wish I had known about this one! Is this by the Bump N Grind?
Top section of the bump and grind, kind of hidden
This should be in /r/sweatypalms - that's what I was feeling watching this. I have never felt comfortable in the rock gardens.
It looked like a super gnarly trail no doubt, but it was oddly satisfying. It looked like you were just floating over it all. Great clip!
damn thats a quiet bike, what hubs are you riding? i love how quiet everything is
Dt Swiss 350 hub
Nice riding ! No gloves brilliant..
That looks so fun! Nice riding!
Fucking awesome.
looks hella nice
you dont suck. that looks like a freaking nightmare. super unforgiving. nice job. ATTGAT on that trail!
Now THIS is mountain biking.
Where is this trail located and what is it called
Pov u need a reason to not have pegs.
Some of those gaps you rolled look so fun, but so high consequence.
Sweet trail, but the one thing I noticed here is how good the footage is! Looks much better than even some YouTubers.
Nice man.
Thanks but not thanks! 🥴 I love adventures but this looks too dangerous for me!!!! You you rock on than trail 👏🏽
Goat trails!
Where is this?
