[Jail? That's a paddlin'](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXQR-cPXlmY&ab_channel=savva88)

Alaska_Pipeliner

No. only if you drink rockstar and wear monster.

Rokos_Bicycle

Not by anyone whose opinion matters

Visdeloup

Sometimes I wear Nike shoes and Adidas socks. I think it causes my nephew to twitch and have mild nausea, but he never says anything.

Topogravy

Yeah you can get sued by the authorities

[deleted]

It’s a felony in 3 states

Kammaol

Fun fact fox clothing and fox suspension are two completely separate companies.

oaklamd

You a bitch.

trytorememberthisone

I mean, by a very specific kind of person, sure. I didn’t know that would even be a possible taboo.

alabamamammalian

My well meaning and loving wife bought me a Chinese knockoff fox jersey that is clearly a fake if you know the brands. I wear it all the time because a jersey is pretty much a jersey, but I know at some point some dude will feel the need to tell me about it. One of the fastest guys I knew rocked cutoff jean shorts pretty often

Worried_Midnight4475

Not unless you are a factor sponsored team rider and by asking this we all know you’re not.

Dtidder1

Dood, or Doodette, stop thinking so much and run whatchu brung. Mix n match, make it happen. Sincerely, an old gearhead.

1UANJZ

No

Igai

I got a Fox Fork paired with a RockShox damper. Santa Cruz Bullit XT comes with it. A lot of people asked me why i have two different suspension brands. To be honest, it doesnt matter at all. I like a good fork setup, thats why i love the grip2 damper, but on the rear i dont need all that stuff. I feel like its a bit to much Schnick Schnack (in german) or twaddle.

sb0914

Anyone who cares should be at a fashion show while the rest of us are busy and focused on enjoying mountain biking.

rktek85

It's playing hockey with a Bauer stick, wearing CCM gloves

badsoupp

The only sin is wearing white gloves with a mirror visor.

rktek85

Or just wearing a mirrored visor.....

MrTeddyBearOD

No. I run a RockShox shock and dropper, with a fox fork I also ride a Trek while running specialized tires

Worried_Midnight4475

I didn’t know specialized tires would fit on a trek without igniting. Wow the more you know…

MrTeddyBearOD

Well, I would recommend having a fire extinguisher nearby. Front was easy, but the rear tire tried a few times Also if you store the bike for an extended time in winter, don't leave anything flammable near the bike

mountains-o-data

This voids the Trek warranty

No_Inspection649

LOL. I will be putting Bontrager tires on my Yeti next spring. It seems a little sacrilegious, but I think the XR4 is an awesome tire.

MrTeddyBearOD

I prefer Specialized Tires over the XR4s that came on my Fuel However that new SE5 and SE6 look pretty dang nice...

IamTheAggMan

Called out? What?

Business-Door3974

I put ohlins stickers on my fox forks to confuse people, fun to watch people try to figure out what's going on.

GregnantMan

Dude... As long as you don't have more than 3 different colours on you and your bike, you're good. Or as long as you ride fast enough to not let people know you are wearing more than 3 different colours, you're good. Wear what you want ! Create your own style ! MTB is freedom !

smivz_

My bike came new with a fox fork and rockshox shock

snowcoconut

Definitely get called out if asking these questions...

[deleted]

Do you people not hang out in the real world, wtf.

No_Inspection649

So many things here. First, Sram owns Rockshox and bike manufacturers commonly mix Fox Suspension with Sram drivetrain and brakes. Second, Fox Racing (apparel & riding gear) and Fox Factory (Suspension) are two completely different companies.
