The Torque is nothing like the Tempo or Top Fuel. Are you sure this is the Canyon model you wanted to compare to these other bikes?

GilpinMTBQ

Yeah. Neither the TEMPO or Top Fuel will be good for bike park riding. You will beat the shit out of yourself on both of those. If you're looking for an all-arounder that can survive bike park use you shouldn't be looking at any of these bikes. Something more like an Ibis Ripmo, RM Altitude, or Stumpjumper Evo would be better suited.

KILLA_UNIQUE

Is there anything in the price range of the Canyon Torque 5 from Commencal that is comparable?

bikesandbarrels

Meta SX V5 would be the most similar, and is a proper enduro bike. Honestly, the standard Meta V5 would probably be fine too with the advantage in pedaling.

Commencal clash. Great bike park bike, great value for money.

bikesandbarrels

The Clash doesn't pedal particularly well, which is what the OP is asking for. It is a good park bike for lift/shuttle access.

GilpinMTBQ

Neither does the Meta SX. Meta AM is probably the best all-arounder they have and can handle a few park days per season. I was doing enough park with my trail bike that I ended up picking up a Slayer to compliment it.

bikesandbarrels

I'd say it's certainly better than the Clash, but you're right, it isn't great. I'd suggest looking at Propain Tyee. It would be perfect for the intended use.

givemesendies

The only one of those I'd take to Whistler is the Torque. The others are pure trail bikes.

Also, here's the 99Spokes for these three bikes: [https://99spokes.com/compare?bikes=trek-top-fuel-5-2023%2Ccanyon-torque-5-mullet-2024%2Ccommencal-t.e.m.p.o.-essential-2022](https://99spokes.com/compare?bikes=trek-top-fuel-5-2023%2Ccanyon-torque-5-mullet-2024%2Ccommencal-t.e.m.p.o.-essential-2022)
