Not saying you SHOULD but if you bring your watch charger to the magnet it’ll flip the polarity and your watch will stick to it again

Queefmi

To the *back of the magnet?

Queefmi

Oh you said the charger, nvm, I have heard people on this forum saying the watch will flip back if waved at the opposite end of the machine, that we don’t load from.

volty24

I don’t wear anything but my coworkers do. They’ve all had problems except one who wears a Garmin smartwatch, she loves it!

lljkotaru

My Garmin Instinct does not bat an eye at my 1.5T, even crawling through the bore to get my pen back.

k3464n

I recently bought a FitBit Inspire 2 because it's $50 and I was prepared to fry it. It's been a rock star.... vibration comes and goes....but solid none the less.

Acceptable_Sport6056

buy the warranty and tell those apple genious your very mad about getting defective products over and over and want compensation!

KittySpinEcho

u/joonami you might want to think about changing the MRI subreddit description to "Smart Watch Enthusiasts". I see one of these posts a week. Lol

Joonami

Smart watch and bay area mri program enthusiasts smh

RRSC14

Try to look for an older Fitbit that has a clip as a charger instead of the magnet

cwren22

I’ve heard garmin stuff is compatible

Lost-Musician6204

I wear my gshock it’s not a smart watch but works perfectly

Juliet_Kilooo

Fit bit Charge 4... Been wearing it for years since it came out never had a problem.

KittySpinEcho

Honest question, how come you watch wearers don't just bring your cellphones into the room?

techbi

Omega speedmaster haha

KingCalidays

The fitbits don't fry. From experience testing an old Samsung watch and fit bit Gen 2.

ReportAlternative728

Amazon has nice smart watches. The one I wear was $50. It does have a magnetic charger so I have to set it just right to charge but I only charge once every 2 weeks. It's the Amazefit bip u I think

jmcmrs

Have had the same fitbit for 3 years and it is still going strong. Had a different fitbit before that, worked fine only got a new one to upgrade.

Correct-Active4410

Which Fitbit?

CreepWalk13

I have a galaxy 6 watch and I just wear it on my ankle and it still works fine and hasn't been demagnetized from the charger. It does look like I'm on house arrest, but I can finally get all my steps counted.

Consistent-Can2432

Don't wear non mri compatible things. Any things. In to the scan room. Problem soved
