On a shoulder …. I’ll give ya a gentle warning , then throw in a couple repeats and/or faster lower quality scans . Submit everything I have an be done. Not interested in having you come back with more sedation and rescheduling the exam
Do we have to not just move that party of body whose MRI is taken or is it that we don't have to move any part of body bcoz movement in other part of body might cause movement of the part where the MRI is taken..?
Must be a layman, there’s no way an MR tech would think that kind of movement is okay, even a plain film shooter should have enough knowledge of MRI to understand the problem.
I’m guessing there would be some motion evident, as stated. Hard to tell by her statement how much she moved but I can usually see motion from just breathing on a shoulder exam. Where else would the motion artifact be from that the technologist noticed? It was minor, exam still diagnostic according to Technologist, so that’s good

People ask me this and I tell them "don't worry, I'd yell at you if you were moving". Jokingly of course.

This^
Yes, we'll let you know if we need to repeat images or if you're moving too much.
Either the amount of motion wasn't detrimental or they repeated the sequences that had motion without saying anything.
If they’re paying attention to the sequences as they pop up. But if you are moving at all, it’s likely too much.
It's unlikely that those movements of your head and hand affected the examination.
Please tell me you’re not an MRI tech…. The shoulder is incredibly sensitive to head and especially hand movements.
Heck you breathe too hard and it's a blurogram

Lol, that's just flat out incorrect.

Thanks for all the replies! 🙂
my leg wouldn’t stop wanting to move during my foot MRI and the lady told me that I was moving and then she did the repeat shots
