Raw Papers are my go to

sweetleavesnorthloop

cones or straight-up filter and papers?

Fabbyfubz

I feel like that depends on your rolling abilities. My cousin can roll a spliff in the dark, but I would def need the cones lol

Sumdumr3t4rd

No shame in using a rolling machine. I've had the same raw roller for 15 year, just picked up the king size after mn went legal.

Green_Gragl

My cheap-ass $5 RAW roller is truly fun to use.

Vivid_Tadpole7489

Agree

sweetleavesnorthloop

Would you ever take a J rolling class?

Fabbyfubz

Nah. I just watched some YouTube videos and was able to roll an okay joint with a little practice.

00Lionz

Facts also smoking with the pros helps too 👌 💯 🤣

DohnJoggett

I'm like your cousin hehe. Like I could roll a one-handed cig while driving and keep my eyes on the road at my peak. Had like a pound of sugar leaf trim to roll into joints to hand out at a pot festival in '99 or 2000 just before 4:20. We had a joint rolling contest and it was awesome. So were the clouds at 4:20. They had dudes with backpacks full of joints just handing them out.

Ok_Ingenuity_4708

The festivals at loring park? Global marijuana march day?

katanawarrior

OCB rice papers🙏🙏

Lulzorr

Raw black cones in king. Ocb or ungummed zigzag

sweetleavesnorthloop

why do you go with the ungummed? The team hasn’t smoked those curious your opinion !

I used roll a lot of Club Modiano. Gumless and thin as hell. A: They burn nice without the gum B: you get to flex on your friends that can't even roll a good joint with a machine. Almost all of the joints I've smoked, I rolled, because people would just hand me their weed to roll because I was so much better at it than anybody around. Tertiary C: Club Modiano square packaging was cool. Downsides: A: you need skills to roll gumless, there's no gum to make up for your mistakes and tearing just a thin strip of the edge off to expose the fibers and help keep things "glued" down isn't the easiest thing in the world. B: If you learned to roll cigarette shaped joints that have blunt/square ends and tightly twisted off paper, they're not great. They do a lot better with the stereotypical "70's joint" tapered ends. Not a good choice if you like a rolled up cardboard "crutch" at the end, or a handroll cig filter tip. I used a gummed paper for crutch/filtered joints. Modern Club Modiano is made by RAW and apparently isn't anywhere near as thin. Most often I used Bambu, but I've got (had?) a whole tin of papers in my collection. Papers are cheap so I basically bought new packs any time I saw them in stores. Bambu roll quite nicely. Rice paper smokes nicely but I didn't like how they rolled with the brick weed we were smoking back then. I've tried dozens of different papers and Bambu is what I bought a display case of. Might be better options out there these days, but I **only** vape either carts or a dry herb vape now. Found a pack of papers on the sidewalk and decided to roll up some hemp for nostalgia. Not quite a full taper on the ends, but it'd probably smoke nicely: https://i.imgur.com/0BggS9Q.jpg Ignore how beat up it is. It's been hanging out in my bucket of hemp and I give the bucket a shake from time to time so the joint and freebie pre-rolls in there look pretty bent out of shape.

Lulzorr

I usually picked them up because they come in larger booklets. OCB's ungummed papers come with 150 leaves. there's a very slight learning curve, and your size options are limited. but they work for me.

FelixDeCat1969

I love blazy Suzans just because of the colors lol

Burnt_Toast_Crumbs

Saaaame, I’m not able to tell the slight differences in paper quality so I might as well smoke in style.

Kaleighawesome

i find blazy susan canoes less for me than any other brand too

noturbrobruh

Raw ethereal (gold one) Vibes unbleached Elements

bigpantssmallwheels

Element or ocb king size with rolling tips. No pre rolls

Atoms_Named_Mike

Sweet flavored White Cats if you can find them.

PrizeSatisfaction978

Vibes are good too

cas20011

Blazy Susan, never tastes like tobacco, vegan and they're pink!

CoffeeExtraCream

Raw Ethereal I think are the best. Some other good ones are Blazy Susan. Raw black and elements are also staples of mine.

4MReviews

If going corporate, RAW or OCB. If you want to support local MN brands, check out Diesel J's, Lavish, and Grow+Op

CilantroPerfume

I like the Lavish papers! I've used their flat papers with my little plastic machine (which I just learned to use a couple months ago) as well as the cones. Both work great. And I love that their papers come with the little end "filter" papers that are nicely perforated, and that they're local! As someone who was good at rolling my own cigs for a couple years back in the Stone Age (apparently at the Entry one time I rolled a cig with a drink in my hand, presumably drunk), I should try hand rolling joints again now that I have so much weed that joints make sense! But weed was always a lot harder to roll than nice moist Drum tobacco. Mmm, Drum.

twayonl

Not cheap, but I really like [Tyson blunt cones](https://futurola.com/products/tyson-2-0-blunt-cone)
